Somebody really wasn’t interested in being in the picture post-run today—> needed to get some speed in today (1 mile w/u, 9 miles @ 6:38 ((that was hard)), .5 c/d…0% incline).
Picture from the other day but this is my view from the treadmill if Brookers is awake and I rather like it.
We had a little park date to attend.
Brooke was thrilled to be pushed on the swings.
Paige gave Brooke a lunchable and a whole flood of flashbacks crossed my mind… I LOVED these as a kid.
Salad of the day—> cucumbers, berries, grapes, chicken, feta cheese, poppyseed dressing and a sweet potato on the side.
My good friend Nicole sent this to me for a reason:
Tomorrow is NATIONAL DONUT DAY—> get free ones at Dunkin’ Donuts (with the purchase of a drink), Krispy Kreme (free donut of your choice) or check with your local donut shops because I’m sure they are celebrating the day somehow:)
Andrew’s sis-in-law sent me this and I laughed pretty hard:
And last night I got this picture from my old boss/good friend that came to visit me in California when Brooke was born and it made me miss that little itty bitty stage a whole lot.

My list of places I need to visit keeps getting longer and longer. I also want to complete running a marathon in all 50 states (I’m at 28 states complete). I want to have kids at some point (which will slow my progress on the 50 states goal!) I always have little goals too – like every time I travel, I like to try a new (to me) food. I’ve never gone on a blind date, but given that i’m married, I don’t think my husband would appreciate it much if that was on my life list! ;)
Natalie
I still need to fall in love. There are a bunch of others on that list I haven’t done, but that one is most important to me.
Amy
The older I get the less I care about the stuff I do and the more I care about who I am. There are lots of ways to be a good person and do good things, so I decided which specific good things I do doesn’t really matter as long as I’m continually becoming a better person.
Does that make me sound 80? I basically am inside. But I still have acne. And wrinkles. No one told me that the awkward stage you hit in middle school NEVER ENDS.
The Hungry Runner Girl
I like this a lot Amy! LOVE your perspective. You are amazing. I am right there with you with the acne and the wrinkles!

I don’t know what happened but I only just found your blog again (I actually do know what happened, I took a break from running blogs after injury number I-don’t-even-want-to-know – but that’s a different story). Anyway, here I come and you are engaged and I just wanted to say how happy I am for you!! EEEEK! Honestly, these news made my day. Congratulations to you and your little big family
