-We stayed in St. George with some of his family and we picked up breakfast on our way to Vegas.  This particular bakery gave COOKIES with their breakfast egg sandwich meals?!? I’m not going to complain.

-We hung out at the tailgating party for a bit.

-The weather for the game was perfection.

IMG 3813

-You know someone is kind of the best if they will wear twinner hats with you.

IMG 3785

-We hit up a roller coaster.

IMG 3804

-And then the best Las Vegas buffet in my opinion.

IMG 3805

-The gelato at the dessert station was heavenly.

IMG 3808

-We finished off the night by walking around and watching the Bellagio water show before heading back to St. George.

-And now we are on our way back because I’ve got a Frozen boot wearing, pretzel bite loving, three year old that I miss like crazy!

I haven’t been to Vegas since I was about 10 years old, it’s quite the trip for us but I’d love to go back! I’ve got a short easy run today and then cleaning, laundry and lots of wrapping are on my to do list!

I’m not a fan of buffets but the ones in Vegas are pretty incredible!

Today I’m running then have to work again. I’m not supposed to work weekends but I’m covering for someone who is sick!

Looks like such a fun date! Good work, mystery man :)

Sunday plans – MAYBE going on an easy shakeout run (got in a 14-miler yesterday!), baking up some sugar cookies and then attending a mom/daughter secret santa/cookie party this afternoon!

Happy Sunday!

I’d take a cookie with breakfast any day. In fact I would take any of those meals especially the dessert.

I’m going to church today then hopefully going for a trail run and relaxing a little!

Happy Sunday Janae. I appreciate the timing of your Vegas post. I will actually be tbere in 6 days on a trip celebrating 24 years with my wonderful hubby and his 50th birthday. (These 2 events are one week apart.)
Maybe we will try The Wicked Spoon buffet, never been there. We are definitely doing tbe New York roller coaster and going running in Red Rock Canyon. I still have miles to accomplish before my marathon in January.

Sounds like a blast! I totally totally totally get why you’re not saying a lot on the blog about the guy. And I totally respect it. And I would probably do the exact same thing! But I’m also kind of dying to hear more about him! In a non-creepy because we’re basically Internet bffs kind of way of course ?? For real though. I hope he’s great. You deserve it!

Ooh! That looks like so much fun! Your twin hats are very cute!

I really like Serendipity and the Harley Davidson restaurant (for breakfast). I’m considering doing Rock N Roll Vegas 2016 and would definitely plan a weeklong vacay around it if I do.

It’s too bad BYU lost! :(

It’s an extra lazy day for me after my 20 miler yesterday and a 3/4 Dopey Challenge for the week.

I have a favorite restaurant and they don’t have it in Utah. It’s called Panera Bread. So so good, but they do have one in Vegas. So does that count? ;)

Looks like you had a great trip to Vegas! I’ve been a couple of times when I was younger. My family loved Margaritaville! We’re huge Jimmy Buffet fans so whenever we can find one of his restaurants we have to go.

Love reading your blog, a great inspiration for those of us how are not as fast as you. So excited to be heading to Vages November 2016 for the Rock n Roll marathon. Travelling all the way from London! A group of us from our running club are doing the 5k Saturday and full next day. So excited. Keep posting. ?

How fun that you could make a quick trip to Vegas! I love the idea of exchanging experiences instead of gifts, it’s always a challenge to pick something unique for my bf after being together for 10+ years. Today is a lazy day for me, we did Christmas w/ my family yesterday since we’ll be away over real Christmas.
