10 things I have seen today!

 1.  Brooke in absolute heaven because she got to wear her pajamas to school today.  You’d think she won the lottery with the level of excitement she had.

2.   A fresh new blanket of snow at our house.  Utah is too legit to quit.

3.  The treadmill.  I see the treadmill a lot lately but it sure keeps me nice and warm and without a broken tailbone from slipping.  Sharing my treadmill/strength workout tomorrow morning!

4.  A post run mug of hot chocolate (they say chocolate milk is great for recovery so hot chocolate is too in my book).

I would be super psyched if I could wear my pajamas to work. I do get to wear an ugly Christmas sweater to work tomorrow though. But my “ugly sweater” is kinda cute. At least I like it!

Treadmill running > falling while running. No question. I kinda like treadmill running and I think it makes me mentally stronger. At least that’s what I tell myself!

Off to a massage! Woohoo!

Reply

ENJOY your massage Sarah! I want to see pics of your ugly sweater:) sounds like a blast!!!

The trick is to get work clothes that feel like pajamas. It’s totally possible. For example, my current favorite work pants feel like sweatpants but look like slacks. It’s wonderful.

Reply

Well you just need to send the link now…. those sound like heaven!

Reply

Unfortunately I can’t find the right ones online, but they were from Target.

Reply

I’ll have photos of the sweater on Instagram tomorrow! My husband and I have the same sweater, I keep telling him that it’s adorable that we will match! Not sure if he believes me though! :)

Reply

Oh I can’t wait. Not much better than matching…

Every time I see your food I almost always want cafe rio. It was my oldests last day of school for Christmas break. So we are seeing lots of crafts and things.

Reply

WAHOOOO for Christmas break. Enjoy every second with your kiddos this break!!!

That cartoon is too accurate, just add in eating chocolate in each frame and it’s real life! Gingerbread is an absolute necessity as Christmas approaches. It looks like you’ve got a lot of snow! It just keeps accumulating in the mountains here as well.

Reply

hahaha you are so right about the chocolate part! Stay warm Laura and I hope you are having a beautiful day!

Reply

Thank you, Janae! You and Brooke stay warm as well! :)

Reply

How are you wearing that much clothing on the treadmill?? :)
Super cute pics. Have a great evening!

Reply

I was supposed to be out on the track but when I went to the track there was way too much snow to run on so I went inside… I was dressed for the cold:)

Reply

My youngest girl’s preschool Christmas pageant. Too adorable. And my first outside run in quite awhile!

Reply

I have seen my computer screen for FAR too long. I have also seen a pumpkin pie Quest bar heading straight for my mouth… OMG delicious.

I love Brooke’s excitement over pajama day at school. I remember being super excited about it too as a kid.

Your donut mug is perfect!

Reply

Those Ghiradelli squares are amazing! There is only one left in my stash and now I’m going to have to go buy more.

Reply

Every day could be wear your PJs to school day when you’re Brooke’s age! tell her to take advantage!

Reply

I saw a positive pregnancy test :) 4th baby on the way :) :) :) :) So I actually DONT have the flu :)

Reply

Awww! Congratulations! :)

I think you need to expand your business to running stylist. You seriously always have THE cutest running outfits! I will even call dibs on your first styling session.

You’re so sweet for the shout out! I’m so glad you like the song!! I’m pretty sure I listened to it 6 times during my last half marathon, lol.

Brooke gets cuter every day. Love your blog!

Reply

So funny, my son (6 years old) was able to wear PJs yesterday and he thought it was the greatest thing!!!!!!

Oh wow!! I am always amazed at runners that either run in the snow or have to run long miles on the treadmill…… Here in South Georgia we never get snow…. kinda strange having Christmas without snow!

I finally ended up back on the treadmill and running indoors last night because of the cold. I put it off but then we got a cold front so I’m back to watching Hulu on my iPad mini on the treadmill after work. Ok, I live in San Diego so it’s not actually that cold but for me it is! It’s like 50 by the time I get off work and pitch black.

Ahh! How is Christmas only 8 days away ALREADY?!

Who wouldn’t be psyched about pajama day? Most comfortable day ever.

I picked up the TJ’s peppermint pretzels, haven’t tried them yet. I was a little wired from my amazing Rudolph coffee and 1/2 a cookie that I split with my hubby. (it was a large cookie). Rudolph coffee is chocolate Irish cream – delightful. (I drink coffee twice a week so I get giddy when I have it).

I saw a house so crammed with Christmas decorations that it actually hurt to look at it.

Everything in this post is just…well, everything!!!!

I have seen a lot of rain today! But ill take it over snow. I love snow, but driving in it….not so much. And I DO NOT miss the panic-induced shopping that occurs before they predict snow that leaves every supermarket with bare shelves.

I saw wrapping paper, cards, tape, scissors, etc….FINALLY finished wrapping all my gifts!

And I packaged up 6 boxes of shoes, clothes, and sporting goods to donate to a blogger who is collecting stuff for high schoolers in Jamaica. Felt soooo good!

Brooke is just too, too cute with her excitement!

Love Sia’s voice!

Have you heard 3LAU’s “How You Love Me”??? Another MUST add to your running playlist! Pumps me up every.single.time!

Reply

Oh my gosh, I saw I WON TODAY (the Brooks gloves/hat)!! I never win anything! And I am so seriously pumped about those gloves and the hat looks great, too!

So, how do I email you? I mean whats your email? Should I just send a message on your contact page?

Yay!!!

Reply

You better not tell Brooke, but I wear pajamas to class more often than I care to admit. Perks of going to a big public university, I guess. ;)

Reply

Do you have a mirror close to your treadmill to check your running shape?

Reply

I love Brooke’s cute jammies! I am all about treadmills, especially in the winter because I feel like I am the clumsiest human on the plant ha! And can I just accompany you to all of the restaurants you go to?! The foods you eat always look SO good!

Reply

So I am sorta laughing because I see you running on the treadmill in tights and a long sleeve shirt. But then when you run outside in the cold you wear shorts and a short sleeved shirt :-)

Reply

I don’t like wearing pajamas outside of the house but I guess it’s ok for kids. What was the occasion?

Reply

I love wearing gym clothes everywhere. They are my pajamas!

Reply

I saw the Christmas spirit! First at the grocery store checkout the woman in front of me let me go first because I only had a few items and she had a cart full. And then at Dunkin Donuts I held the door open for s woman who decided I should go in front of her on line for holding the door open. You see there are still nice gestures happening in the world.

Reply

Janae….where did you get those tights you’re wearing? I’m sorry if you’ve told us before! PS…I want Brooke’s PJ’s!!!

Reply

I love Brooke’s pajamas…lol!!

How do you wear so many clothes inside on the treadmill? I would melt to death in a puddle :)

Reply

That’s funny because my daughter ALSO had pajama day at school today And they’re watching Polar Express and having hot cocoa… doesn’t get much better than that! I want to be in first grade again : )
