TJs Cookie Butter sandwich cookies. I’m obsessed with them. Thank goodness I don’t have a TJs nearby or it would be a problem!

Last thing I baked was flourless chocolate pumpkin muffins from Running with Spoons. I was a bit skeptical but the photo looked amazing and they were freakin awesome. Definitely will be making them again this week!

Candy corn – yay. But just the traditional ones, I don’t like the new flavor combinations. I’m a bit of a candy corn snob! ;)

Reply

OK, I saw your comment yesterday and went to TJ and bought those cookie butter sandwich cookies. THANK YOU!!! You’ve changed my life. :)

Reply

They are AMAZING!! :)

Reply

There’s a turkey wrap I always get from Trader Joe’s that is SO good. I also can’t get enough of their Cookie Butter!!

Last thing baked was Paleo banana bread and it was awesome. I would love 7 hours of sleep tonight – I need to make that happen!

Reply

The pink shoes are my favorite! Dark pinks are so pretty and cheery. The last thing I baked was butternut squash muffins, which I shared on my blog on Friday. My favorite thing at TJs is their big bars of dark chocolate – seriously amazing chocolate!

Reply

I made Nutella swirl banana bread! Turned out great!

Soooo I went grocery shopping last night… bought my first bag of candy corn for the season. I just finished it off like 5 minutes ago. I might have a problem!

Atta girl…. that first bag of the season always tastes the best too. Okay, that bread sounds like heaven.

Reply

I do agree that it seems like life has been going by way to quickly lately. I feel like it’s really zipping.

Before a goal race I like to put about 80 miles on my shoes. That is probably too many ha ha. Anyways, I say go with the blue and purple cadence because why choose one color when you can choose 2…

Reply

Just wanted to say good luck! I found your blog not long after I moved to SLC, and something about being in the same general geographical area has made me really invested in your marathon. So I’ll be rooting for you!

(Oh, and I love candy corn… and the last thing I baked was pumpkin pie. Clearly I am getting invested in this whole “autumn” thing!)

Reply

Katie! Thank you so so much! We should get together for froyo:) And you can bring that pumpkin pie too;) Hope you are having a fabulous day!

Reply

Oh, you’re so nice! I would totally bring you a pumpkin pie. :)

Where is that PB donut from? I need it in my life right this second. I am coming down from my candy corn sugar rush and am looking for my next fix/high.

I really liked the honey mints I got at TJ last time. My kids liked them too. They are individually wrapped (stops me from eating the whole package in one sitting) and only 3 ingredients. Ross said they taste like dirt though sooooo

I also like their Thai cashews. And now that pumpkin season is upon us, I will be sure to buy their pumpkin brittle. Mmmmm. Basically, what DON’T I like from TJ?!

I baked mint chocolate cookies on Friday. They were bomb. Which is why I had to give away most of them. Best part about my Tuesday so far was lunch. Obviously.

Reply

Talking about baking with you made me want to bake more. It is from the Lehi bakery. Money. You would die. Off to get the honey mints… let me know if YOU need anything there!

Reply

So knowing that the donut is from a place Ross eats breakfast on the daily and HE has never told me about it??? Unacceptable.

Reply

Looks like I caused tonight’s argument.

Reply

Maybe wait until after Portland to talk about it.

Reply

I love a colorful sneaker, so I vote for the pink one! They’re so nice and flashy.

Trader Joes is now carrying all kinds of squash again! I got delicata, butternut, and kabocha. Can’t wait to cook ’em up!

Ugh, we don’t have a Trader Joes in Memphis…my son works at the one in Atlanta and I am so jealous. I bake everyday because I committed to baking my way through a cookbook, I would have to say the Italian Bread I made last week was so good. Brooke is too cute. Go with the grayish looking ones. Have a great day

I haven’t been to Trader Joe’s in forever, but I love their pizza crusts :) Hmm the last thing I “helped” bake was a raspberry cobbler while camping and it was super yummy and so easy. I am not a fan of candy corn but my daughter loves them ha! The best part of my Tuesday was rocking my daughter to sleep by far. She is growing up way too fast and I feel like I won’t be able to do that much longer :(

Reply

Oh man, I had to make the same decision on shoe color a few months ago. It was a tough choice. I ended up going with the grey ones (and I LOVE them) but think for your big sub-3 the pink are probably the way to go. They’re more festive. ;)

I eat like 5 candy corns a year and then I’m over it.

Last thing I baked was a fresh peach snack cake last weekend. OMG SO good (if I do say so myself).

the purple shoes all the way!!

Also, what app are you using for your countdown??

Reply

I have those shoes in gray! I picked that color because I already had a pair of pink and a pair of purple running shoes, so I wanted to get something different:)
Tina is the best! So speedy but so down to earth and awesome!
I baked muffins on Friday and they were delicious.

Reply

Ok. so, first of all, Brooke looks like a freakin teenager already!!!

LOVE the Brooks run happy shirt. I have that pink one, a blue one and a grey one. I get compliments everytime I wear it.

Your friend’s text is on the money! So, tattoo her message on your brain.

The pink shoes!!!! Loooove them.

You have to try tjoes pumpkin butter. It is soooooo good. Seasonal, of course, so stock up! its like a cult classic here in NJ and flies off the shelves. I eat it with peanut butter. Or vanilla ice cream.

Don’t get me started on candy corn. I was never really into it until I found Zachary’s brand flavors. Blackberry cobbler, pumpkin spice, apple cider, smores, creme brûlée. I died. I literally cannot buy it because I absolutely cannot control myself around it.

Reply

I vote for the purple shoe!
Love candy corn! Just tried the new s’more candy corn, Love it too!

Reply

Last thing I baked was a loaf of bread

TJ’s sweet potato gnocchi and their pretzel rolls..mmm

If you love candy corn you need to try “gorp”. You mix candy corn, plain m&ms, raisins and salted peanuts into a trail mix. Choose your own ratios. It’s absolutely delicious and addicting. Something about the combo.

Reply

Trader joes… Must have is the 5 seed bars and Espresso chocolate beans. Omg. Must have this. I love this store though. I don’t think there’s anything I wouldn’t like here. Yummm

Brooke is SO stylish!! Candy corn is my reason for life. Halloween is seriously my favorite holiday because of them. Also a HUGE fan of TJ’s banana bread as well!

You should definitely go with the grey shoes on the top right. :)

Reply

Trader Joe’s is the best! A few of my favorites—> Orange Peach and Mango Juice, Mango Sorbet and the Soy Vanilla Ice Cream (This is literally the best ice cream ever and the combo of the two is just PERFECT!), Tofu Edamame Nuggets are delish, and the ginger cat cookies (but I don’t think they have these anymore *tear*).

Reply

I’m partial to the purple ones – which you already knew. Given that you already have a pair of those go with the pink. Might as well be flashy posting those stellar times.

I just started breaking in my new/old Asics. Definitely felt the difference this morning, not in a good way. But I’m sure by my race day they’ll be great.

Reply

I love Brooke’s outfit in the first photo, I would totally rock that myself.

I’m so long overdue for a TJ’s run!

Reply

I like the purple but if pink are calling your name then go for them.

TJ’s – the pretzel rolls, the pre-cooked lentils (because they are perfect for when you don’t want to cook), same with the frozen brown rice (add some veggies to the previous 2 for instant meals). I love the gluten free snickerdoodle cookies, olive oil popcorn and their unsweetened Greek yogurt.

I made Nikki’s Healthy Cookies and they are delicious. (oats, almond flour, coconut and chocolate – google the recipe, so good).

Reply

i love trader joes! There cookie butter is amazing! I also love their cauliflower rice but it is so popular that it is usually always sold out! Those pink running shoes are awesome and I think they might just be my favorite! And you can never go wrong with candy corn;)

Reply

Oh my gosh…what do I NOT love at TJs!? Lately, I’ve been loving their coconut pancake mix, espresso ground coffee, sweet potato tortilla chips, and their pumpkin ice cream! I could go on and on though.

Last thing I baked was freezer fudge? Not so much a baked good but had to heat everything up on the stove before freezing so that counts right? ;)

Brooke is seriously so adorable!
