My Saturday night was pretty uneventful. I watched golf and ate way too many animal crackers…

I love watching sports, writing and going on walks or rollerblading outside of running!

Love Oreos! I don’t buy them very often because my family will suck down the whole pack. That new flavor loves great!
Saturday night was at a wedding reception. Adults only – got a date night with my husband :)

I used to love Oreos when I had a craving for a stack of them in a cup with milk. I just saw Baskin Robbins has a new ice cream flavor out – oreos & cake. I think I need to try it asap!

I really loved the s’more oreos! I hate the plain ones though.

I ran (and won) a 10k last night! It was a 7:30 pm start.

My hobbies: painting, playing with the dogs, tennis

I used to love Oreos as a kid but not so much anymore. Now I want Trader Joes cookies all day long, you know the one with the spook nut butter in them. OMG good!

Definitely an oreos person. But I stick to the classics.
Hobbies outside of running..? Hmm. I feel like I get new ones all the time but they never stick like running does. Lol

But, I totally watched Toy Story 3 last night too.!! It was on way too late though and I passed out in the middle

I have never really love Oreos. I don’t mind them but they aren’t my choice of snack or cookie. I’ll eat them though.

James Lawrence is amazing! We have been following him from the beginning and I can’t imagine how exauhsted he is.

Toy story 3 is one of our favorites. It’s one that my girls love that I don’t get too sick of.

My Saturday night was CRAZY! ;)
Went to nordstroms rack with my son and bought 2 running tanks and shirts for our family pics. I was then so exhausted that I came home, had a poppyseed Costco muffin and went to bed….or may have eaten it in bed.
Have you seen Desert Runners on Netflix. It’s awesome and I can’t lie. I shed a tear or two. Those guys are insane!

Spent my Saturday night sleeping after a long hot day! Nice to catch up on rest once in a while. Taking my kids swimming and to the splash park today, enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

I have celiac disease, thus no oreos for me :( but don’t feel bad for me, there are other forms of chocolate that I can have. Saturday night was filled with family and friends making delicious food, the best way to spend a saturday night!

i loved the red velvet ones, but i love anything red velvet. i’ve kind of given up trying all the new ones; can’t keep up.

I’m a fan of the blonde/brunette checkered patterned bday girl pic pose ;)

I looove double stufed Oreos dipped in milk. The new flavors are all a little *too* much.

I spent Saturday night with family I haven’t seen in 20 years.

Oh my gosh that Oreo thing looked so good! I spent my Saturday night at my friends wedding…so fun! Outside of running i love playing piano, cooking, and blogging!

Reply

Last night I was in bed early reading a book. It was kind of awesome.

The different Oreo flavors must be an American thing, I’m pretty sure we only have the chocolate and vanilla ones here in Canada.

Reply

I want to try that new oreo flavor!

Outside of running – I am actually doing my first Triathlon before I run my first marathon! It has been fun incorporating more cross training and weight lifting into my routine. I also like blogging and spending time with my hubby and dogs!

Reply

I love Oreos! Double stuff are my favs! The smores one are yummy, but the birthday cake ones were disappointing.

I love being outdoors; if I’m not running, I like taking long walks. I used to love hiking when I lived in Colorado.

Reply

It sounds like you had a really enjoyable weekend, I’m glad! I didn’t realize how common splash pads were until I ran through 5 today in my run in Philly. She looks adorable as always!

Reply

The S’mores Oreos are the best ever!!!! Birthday Cake is a close second. I can’t buy them because I have no self control!

I had to think really hard about the hobbies other than running question…other workouts and shopping (primarily for running gear) are all I could think of, and those all relate back to running :)

Reply

I am an Oreo filling type of girl – probably why the double stuff are my favorite.

Last night I had a couple girlfriends in town for my baby shower. We stayed up watching Dateline and 48hours. We know how to party. :)

Other hobbies aside from running: cycling, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing… pretty much anything outdoors.

Reply

favorite oreo flavor is the Golden Oreo which is almost anti-oreo. However, the cookies and cream flavor sounds so logical! Yum!!! Cookies and cream is my favorite ice cream flavor (well, one of many favorites)

saturday night was spent getting out of a Trapple. Trapple = Apple Trap (thanks iPhone……)

Other non-running hobbies besides playing with my kids (my arm is sore from lacrosse and tennis and frisbee) are cycling and swimming. I also read tons of cookbooks and blogs but kinda stick to my usual recipes :)

Reply

Where is this splash pad?? Looks awesome. And I LOVE Oreos. All types. Need to try these asap!!

Hey there! My foot started bugging me a bit on Friday and I was just wondering what area of your foot was giving you trouble. For me, it’s the right foot and on the right side of it towards my pinky toe and then by the side and the arch. I’ve been using the elliptical or taking spin classes since those don’t seem to bother it, but wanted to see if you had any advice–other than wearing supportive shoes..got that one down pat ;)

Thanks and hope you guys are having a great Sunday!

I am an oreo person. I prefer the MEGA stuffed ones! I will not turn down the vanilla or chocolate ones.

We bbq’d at a friend’s house. Our homemade peach ice cream was legit! We left some peaches in chunks rather than puree the whole mixture. That was the way to go!

My favorite hobbies (outside of running – bc it’s definitely up there) are watching college football, Texas Longhorns, in particular, grilling with friends, eating with friends, baking with my little girl, doing yard work/gardening.

Reply

I love Oreos, but I try not to buy them because I can’t stop eating them once I start. I don’t care for the flavored ones though.

Am I the only one that finds it funny that there is a Cookies & Cream flavor? Cookies? Oreo is a cookie. Cream? Oreo has a cream filling. Ha!

Our Saturday night was spent at a family dinner at my parents’ house. Swimming, fajitas, and a fantastic peanut butter cup ice cream cake I made.

Reply

I think I got drool all over the keyboard when I saw those oreos. I am a huge oreo fan but am a big fan of just the original and then the peanut butter. Because pb + oreos = LOVE.

Looks like a great weekend! Can we just press the pause button? :-)
I do like Oreos but really haven’t tried any of the new ones- now I would try the new cookies and cream. That’s my favorite ice cream! The golden ones are delicious too.
It was a low key night for me since I wasn’t feeling the best. I spent it watching Girls and resting up. I was up at 5AM for my 10k race! Finished in the top 3 in my age group :-)
Aside from running, blogging and shopping (that’s a hobby, right? Lol)

I love your dress janae! Any chance you bought that recently? :)

I just wanted to share something that has basically saved my hips/feet/knees/body after having seriously messed it up due to not wearing anything supportive–kind of the same boat you seem to have been in. http://www.yoursole.com/ca sell footbeds (and footwear) that are so crazy inexpensive compared to professional orthotics, aka you can buy multiple pairs, and i have multiple pairs so i can slip them into my casual shoes, boots, etc. You heat them up and they mould to your feet whilst maintaining arch support, and like, as a flat-footed person whose knees were turning inwards and who had destroyed my hip flexor to the point where I couldn’t walk, I’m not exaggerating to say that these saved my body. I swear I’m not affiliated, I just really, really love these and I think they’d help you out with being able to keep wearing your more casual shoes and boots :)

Reply

Okay that is soo awesome Rosalie! Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I’m totally going to look into these!! I hope you are having a fabulous Sunday!

I love the original, reduced fat, and PB Oreos. But I don’t buy them very often, because the three of us never finish the entire package! We prefer my homemade chocolate chip.

I spent Saturday night watching a movie and eating pizza with my sister and nieces. They are in town from Houston until Monday afternoon. I love spending time with them and watching all three girl cousins play together is so much fun!

My other hobbies are reading, photography and anything that involves a beach.

Have you heard of Haruki Murakami’s book What I Talk About When I Talk About Running? He’s a fantastic writer, and in this book he talks about the intersection of running and writing. Great read and up your alley given your favorite blog topic :)

Reply

Love me some Oreos with milk! I’ll try all the flavors.

Saturday night was spent visiting friends who just had twins, so adorable!

Hobbies include reading, crocheting baby hats, and new hobby is blogging about running and food!

I like Oreos and we love trying new flavors in our house. The red velvet were really good, and the S’mores ones were awesome!

I went to bed early on Saturday night – I have been really bad about getting to bed at a reasonable time lately and it finally caught up to me.

Hobbies: reading, playing with my dog, and baking tasty things!
