Yes and yes.  When I go outside I wear a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, jacket and puffy coat all at once.  Super flattering.

Brooke is feeling a little bit more like herself judging by the fact that she was all in for taking weird selfies with me while we were playing.

I have no transition to throw in so just pretend like I had some smooth way to move onto the topic of dinner here—> ___________.

How I have been making the Chicken Cream Cheese Chili lately:

Place in crockpot:

3 chicken breasts (I always use the frozen ones)

2 cans sweet corn (with liquid)

2 cans black beans (drained)

2 cans rotel tomatoes (I like medium but mild is also delicious)

2 cans tomato soup

1 packet ranch dressing seasoning

1 tbsp. chili powder

1 tsp onion powder

Mix the above ingredients all together and then top with an 8 oz package of cream cheese (do not mix cream cheese in until the end).

Cook on high for 3-4 hours (or on low for 6-8 hours).  Shred chicken and stir it all together.

Makes a ton and I eat it for leftovers for the next 8 meals.

——————————————

When you can’t go out for froyo with your friends just bring the ice cream, toppings and friends to your house.

DSC 0855

I know that most people hate gummy bears on their ice cream (the same people that hate bubble gum in their ice cream I am sure) but I love them thrown in there (as long as I get my chocolate in too).

If I HAVE to run on the treadmill I do a 1% incline! Loved your chili so much, now I’m craving it again! And that bowl is so cute! Where is it from?!

Reply

I posted the same picture from a Christmas story in my post today about why I don’t like the cold! When I do run on a treadmill (once or twice a year) I try to put it on a 1% incline. I think I would be open to gummy bears on fro-yo, although I’ve never tried it!

Reply

I don’t weigh myself anymore, at least not regularly. Maybe once per month. I would toss the scale completely but my husband is still a daily weigh-er. And I hate putting an incline on the treadmill but do a 1% anyway. Actually I just hate the treadmill!

Reply

Heya!!! Your comment about dressing warm and sacrificing style made me laugh–I’m with ya! I wear snow pants everywhere I go at night. Totally changed my life. Haha.

I’m a single gummy worm kinda girl–and I always get the cool little poppy things…if you know what I mean :)

Haven’t weighed in for awhile–it’s kinda boring, I’m always the same weight so I can tell when I change:)

Take care!

Reply

I rarely run on a treadmill (our temps are a lot less extreme than yours), but when I do, I also use a 1% incline.

So glad Brooke is feeling a bit better!

Reply

I love gummy bears on my Froyo, but hate gummy worms as they tend to freeze. :) So weird.

Reply

I always put the treadmill at at least 1%. If I’m walking I sometimes bump it up to 3-4%.

I love Meb and Kara. Shalane is right up there too.

I usually weigh myself once a week, just to keep track of things, but I really don’t need to. I can usually tell by how my clothes fit roughly how much I weigh. I used to be so much worse about it.

I don’t usually put them in my ice cream, but I don’t mind it. Just have to be in the right mood for them, but 9 out of 10 times, I’ll put brownies in it. Yum!

YOu are definitely not the only one who feels like the kid from a Christmas Story when you go out in the cold! No one will ever call me the stylish one!

Reply

Huge proponent of gummy bears on fro-yo over here. I LOVE the really tiny gummy bears that all the froyo places seem to have but can never find them outside of froyo shops – whats up with that!?

Reply

Haha I’m definitely not one of the cool girls in winter rocking a light jacket and leggings. I’m buried under layers of puffy down and wool!

I use a 1% incline on the treadmill. When I first got my treadmill recently, I didn’t realize the incline was already set on a 3%, so I did my first two runs at that. Once I figured the darn thing out, I realized why my runs felt so hard and my legs were sore. Oops!

Reply

That’s exactly what I look like in the winter, hahaha. I want to come to your place for an ice cream party!

Reply

I don’t put my treadmill on an incline because I read in RW that unless you run at an 8 minute pace or faster that a 0-2% incline doesn’t make a difference to the effort your body puts out.

My favorite elite runners are ultrarunners! I like Anton Krupicka and Timothy Olson a lot. Scott Jurek is my favorite of all time, but he’s fairly retired from racing now. :)

Reply

On the ‘mill I usually stick to a 1% incline for runs like tempos, EZ, and long runs. For repeats (speed, hills, fartleks, etc) I’ll do at least a 1.5% and go up to 2-3% depending upon the wkout. I crave variety on the treadmill ;-)

Deena Kastor, Paula Radcliff, Kara Goucher – all women runners and all mother’s – they are inspiring to me.

When I got back into running this year, I was weighing myself a lot…like weekly. I am about 5 lbs heavier than after having my son, and I wanted to loose it. But then I started seeing my thighs get toned, my abs getting more toned, my arms slimming, etc, etc, so one day I just stopped. I may have a little pooch, but I’m okay with it :-) My husband finds me attractive, I am happy with my body, and to be honest my body has done some amazing things – like 6 half marathons, 100s of 5K’s, several 10K’s and it made a baby!!! Its all about perspective. Oh and the fact that EVERY single pair of pants/skirts I own have safety pins in the waist so they fit – that helps too. Loosing inches and gaining muscle doesn’t reflect in weight loss on the scale – I needed that reminder :-)

No gummy bears on ice cream – they get hard and hurt y jaw when I try to chew them :/

So glad to hear Brooke is feeling better!

Reply

1% incline.

Kara Goucher

Every time I go to the dr. and we are at every 2 weeks right now.

Gummi bears as long is there is also chocolate.

Reply

My four year old loves gummi Bears on his ice cream! I always run in the treadmill at 1% and sometimes more.
I stand in the scale weekly but for the body fat percentage, not he weight

Reply

Meb and Kara are my favorites :)

i never put it on an incline…the treadmill is absolute torture as it is, an incline is worse! ahhhh!!

Reply

Your comment about dressing for warmth cracks me up! When I lived in WI, I never cared what I looked like. I dressed like a snowman cuz it’s just too cold.

Reply

Now I think a FroYo party is happening with the hubs this weekend.

I weight myself maybe once every two weeks. As long as my pants still fit that’s all I care about!

Reply

Meb and Kara. They are amazing humans regardless of their running abilities.
I usually do .5 to 1% incline on the dread mill.
I don’t like gummy bears. But I do like sour patch kids. I would put them on ice cream. But usually I stick with chocolate and nuts on my fro yo. Lol.
Glad your girl is feelin better :)
I usually weigh myself twice a month. I keep a doc on my phone to see my weight history. It’s amazing that I usually stay within 5 pounds of my usual weight. Especially with my horrible sweets addiction. Granted I am technically considered overweight by BMI standards. Whatevs!

Reply

I try to do a 1% incline on the treadmill. Unless I’m doing a hill workout, then it’s no holds barred :)
Favorite elite runner= Kara Goucher. She’s an inspiration and so down to earth.
I weigh myself everyday because it keeps me motivated and lets me see the consequences of my actions. I try not to put too much emphasis on it, but it does seem to help me.
I would put gummy bears on the ice cream, but probably eat them off the top, not with the ice cream!

Reply

It’s funny, about 5 people have sent me that winter meme with the girl bundled up. I would say it’s pretty accurate in my life too. It’s been so cold lately and I’m 100% not a fan.

I loved that article Sam wrote too. She is awesome.

Reply

I am currently training for a marathon next May and I run exclusively on a treadmill right now (I live in Mn). I keep it at a 2- 2.5% incline.

I loved the scale story, I too struggle with that, I keep expecting it to go down with how much I am running, but nada. I am also struggling with my eating, it’s SO hard to increase intake when you’re used to watching everything you eat…

Reply

The reason no one has gummy bears on their ice cream is because so few ice cream places offer it as a topping, I know this because I always ask and so infrequently get a “yes” response.

Reply

It is freezing here in Iowa, so the combination of a million layers on a 5′ frame is not very appealing. I probably look like a walking Christmas ornament. super cute haha

I usually run outside but for my half marathon this year I had to do a run in a treadmill (rain and traveling) and it was super weird. Plus it was in the pool area of the hotel so it felt like a sauna in there.

I loved Kara’s article on Runner’s World, she truly is in love with what she does. But then again, I think that magazine makes you love every single runner that’s featured…

I used to weigh myself daily, then weekly, now just whenever and I don’t let the number affect me, even if it goes up or down. As long as I feel good and keep moving, I’m alright.

No gummies please! I hate biting into cold things…

Reply

Deena Kastor and Kara Goucher are my favorite elites! Both are such inspiring women!
I always run with a 1-3% incline – mixing it up keeps me from getting bored and crampy on the treadmill!
I’m always that girl who is super bundled up, even just to walk my dog.

Reply

The batteries in my scale are dead and have been for about a year. I should replace them but I don’t. Weight is overrated anyway!! Yes with the gummy bears along with strawberries. I can’t go without the strawberries!!!

Reply

I do not like gummie bears in frozen yogurt/ice cream. My son does and it makes me crazy/keeps me from picking at his bowl….I set the incline always to 1% if not higher when using the treadmill…glad Brooke is starting to feel better!

Reply

I never put the treadmill on an incline. Yikes.

I used to weigh myself every single morning and the scale dictated my day. I really never weigh myself anymore and it’s the most freeing thing in the world! Intuitive eating, all the way.

Reply

I totally agree! I’m really trying to put mine away for good too…but it’s a hard habit to break.

Reply

I try and always put the treadmill on an incline, at least 1%.

I really like keeping up with Meb and Kara Goucher.

I saw my weight at the doctor on Monday. I wear more than I have in a really long time, but I also like the way my body looks/feels. I am definitely stronger right now.

Reply

Lauren Fleshman and Kara Goucher are my favorites!

I haven’t run on a treadmill in ages, and I don’t even own a scale, so I’m always in for a bit of a surprise when I do make it to the doctor’s office. But at least now as I’ve gotten older my weight seems to be steady.

And now you’ve made me crave sour gummy worms. At 8am. WAY.TO.GO.

Reply

Treadmill incline: minimum of 1%
Love Meb and Kara!
Scale: only at the doctors office:)
Gummie Bears: not in my froyo

Reply

Hooray for the ice cream party!

I always put the treadmill from 1-1.5%, as well.

MEB! 100% MEB!

I weigh myself every couple of weeks.

I’m not totally against gummies in my froyo!

Reply

I really like Lanni Marchant! She is my running hero! I saw her run last year and might have fan-girl screamed :-) I also really like Krista Duchene and I got to meet her last May!

I put my treadmill at a little bit of an incline!

No ‘candy’ in my froyo – just nuts and tinny chocolate things like cookie crumbles! And sauce….lots of sauce. And whipped cream..

Reply

I usually put the treadmill on 0.5% and know I should bump it up a little but it’s so hard to mentally.

I usually weigh myself once every few weeks, ALWAYS in the morning when you’re the ‘lightest’ ;)

I love gummy bears on my froyo, but I think it’s really because I just love gummies… I always eat them first before eating the rest of my froyo!

Reply

Ice cream bar, yes please! But not gummy bears for me.

I HATE treadmills. My last time on one, I maybe lasted 2 minutes. I just can’t do it, but I really admire your ability for do long runs on them.

Reply

I like gummy bears and worms on my fro-yo. I pick them off and eat them by themselves though.

I often don’t put an incline on a treadmill although I know I should, just laziness.

Reply

Haha yes it’s funny how in the winter I can’t even tell where my friends are if I’m meeting them out- we’re all so bundled up it’s hard to tell if it’s them or a stranger haha.

Reply

on the chili – do you put in the cream cheese when it’s almost done, or do you put it in there, just at the top, when you start the slow cooker, and mix it in at the end? just checking, since I plan on making this very soon! :)

Reply

Hey Katie!! I put it in there when I start the slow cooker and then mix it right before I eat it! Enjoy!

Reply

Instead of gummy bears on my froyo, I really like mochi!

Reply

Great video I love Meb! He’s so inspiring… hadn’t heard of competitor.com, then when I watched the video I saw recommended ones for runner’s safety which were great! Thanks for sharing :)

Reply

Sure!! Such an awesome website… I probably spend too much time on there!

Reply

gummi bears & worms is a definite YES!!! although I always get paranoid that they’re going to rip out my fillings, hahaha

Reply

I am currently trying to loose weight so I way my self once a week to track my progress, or lack of progress some weeks. I love Kara Goucher she really is inspirational.

Today I believe is Hug a runner day!!

No gummy bears for me I have a sensitive stomach so I try to steer clear from that kind of stuff most of the time.

Reply

I keep my treadmill at .5%-1% – I have to run SO many hills when I run outside that I don’t feel bad keeping the incline to a minimum on the treadmill.

I occasionally step on the scale, but I don’t worry too much about it.

Gummy bears on fro-yo – absolutely!

Reply

Yes to gummy things on FROYO! I usually put 1-2 gummy worms on the top of my dish :) My favorite elite is Shalane.

Reply

I don’t usually do an incline but I need to start!

Favorite elite runners are Kara and Meb, obviously!

I don’t weight myself often at all, we don’t even have a scale in the house. I will check my weight in the gym if I want to!

I don’t like gummy bears in general (I KNOW, I’m sorry) so I definitely don’t like them on my ice cream!

Reply

I once had a trainer that told me treadmills are built on a decline, so 1% is a flat surface. I don’t even know if that’s true, but I’ve always run/walked at 1% since. I want your ice cream party right now! I’m not a gummies on froyo girl, but probs wouldn’t discriminate if it was in front of me :)

Reply

I run on .5 incline all the time :) and thanks for sharing the video. I’m always on the lookout for fitness and health channels. Do you have a youtube yyourself? Who else are you subscribed to on YouTube?

Reply

I LOATHE the treadmill, but I always do some “hill interval” setting when I have to.

Carmen Hussar! She’s retired, but she lives in my city and runs in my age division…I always see her at events.

Unfortunately, I have been weighing myself frequently because I’m trying to gain a bit.

And NO to gummies on ice cream. Way too sweet ;)

Reply

Men and Ryan Hall are favorites because they stand up for what they believe in. I love it. It has been so awesome to watch Meb really succeed the last few years. I got to meet Ryan hall once and he was incredibly nice.

Reply

I don’t mind running on a treadmill when it is cold outside…in fact, I miss it right now. I gave up my gym membership and have a home gym. Unfortunately the home gym includes a bike trainer, but no treadmill.

Reply

I follow all the elites and I love them all! Kara Goucher and Lauren Fleshman are my all-time fave ladies and on the men’s side Meb OF COURSE but I also really like Chris Solinsky, mainly because I’ve met him a few times and he is just the sweetest!

Reply

I hate the treadmill. I avoid it at all costs, but I’m really interested in that article. I have a feeling I’ll have to log a few runs on the dreadmill this winter! I always try to keep the incline at 1% when I do run on it.

I don’t remember the last time I truly weighed myself. I just go on how I feel and how my pants fit! ;)

Reply

Scott Jurek is my favorite elite runner! I loved his book so much that I have read it twice, and gone back to look at a bunch of recipes.

I love gummy bears, but I hate them on fro-yo because they get so hard! I feel like I can’t even taste them and they are so hard to chew.

Reply

No to gummy bears on froyo for me! They get too cold and hurt my teethh!

Yes to that chicken chili though! It sounds fabulous!

Reply

I love you even more now that you posted a picture of Ralphy’s brother!!

Reply

Meb is definitely my favorite elite! His book “Run to Overcome” is fantastic.

Let’s not talk about the scale, k? I don’t really need one, just try on a favorite outfit and I know.

Gummy bears only work for me in sour/fruity fro-yo, not sweet like chocolate or peppermint (you have my favorite!)

Reply

LMAO – I am so with you on the “when it’s cold outside” attire. You cannot put enough layers on me. Like ever.

Reply

I don’t own a scale and haven’t weighed myself in months. And I always like a little incline on the treadmill! Happy Thursday :)

Reply

Pitch Perfect 2 !!!! Love this movie.

Reply

I always put the treadmill on at least 1% incline. I figure the ground outside isn’t perfectly flat, so it mimics real life situations more.

Reply

I posted that 3 tips to improve running form last Friday in one of my fave roundups post!! I thought it was a great article!! I think you could put me in leggings next to those other girls in leggings and I would still somehow make myself look awkward haha!!

Reply

That chicken recipe looks amazing! I barely ever use the treadmill because I just hate it…

Reply

Okay, I full-on snorted when I saw your comparison of you in your winter attire. (I love that movie).

We never had a scale in our house growing up. All the people who talk about getting back to their high school weight — I have no idea what mine was. But I know I ate like crap and didn’t exercise nearly enough.

Now, I am slightly obsessed with my scale. But I also eat like a healthy adult (most of the time) and I’m in the best shape of my life. I don’t know. I try not to let it define me, but I also use it as a calibration of what I can and can’t eat to keep my weight where I want it.

Glad Brooke is feeling better!

Reply

I do run on the treadmill as little as possible. I never seem to go as far so I use it as interval training. I have an app from LOLO called treadmill. A lady with a very nice voice tells me what to do and when and I love it. You put in your information and it has helped me run faster. I do add in an incline sometimes. I really only run on the treadmill once every two weeks.

I don’t weigh myself because I don’t own a scale. My weight is something I don’t want to know. I go by how I feel and how my races turn out. I haven’t lost any weight this year, that I know of, but I have had my faster year ever.

Reply

My treadmill workouts are ALWAYS hill workouts. I keep my incline at 4% and then will do workouts where I bump up the incline 1 percent every 5 – 10 minutes with recovery periods of 3%

I weigh myself about once a week….this isn’t the best habit

I’m all about chocolate on Froyo. Only chocolate.

Reply

I weigh myself once every week or two. I’m not a slave to the scale but like to stay in a 5 pound range and since I’m tall gaining 5 pounds might not show in the way my clothes fit.

When I run on the treadmill I sometimes do .5-1% incline. My neighborhood is VERY hilly though so sometimes I like the “break” of just running on the flat “hamster whee”!

Favorite runners – Deena Kastor and Kara Goucher!

Gummy on froyo? Not usually – seems like they get hard. BUT I do like them by themselves!

Reply

I don’t weigh myself very often and I think my scale is whack. It made my handsome Marine son 182lbs one day and 198 the next. LOL. I’m pretty sure I want nothing to do with those numbers.

I love my treadmill and am often on it very VERY late at night. Always at least 1% and sometimes 1.5%.

I’m always cold. I wear a hat and gloves when I run in May. ;)

Reply

uhm. So I was always under the impression that 2%-2.5% incline on the ‘mill was equal to running outside. WHAT IS MY LIFE?! I have been making myself work so much harder all along???!! Thanks for fixing me. ;)

Reply

I have a really old treadmill at home and it doesn’t go any lower than 1%. I get weighed weekly at my DR appointments, the joy of being pregnant! I don’t mind though, I would rather know where I’m at then indugle in all the unhealthy cravings and gain to much weight. I could do gummy bears on fro-yo – my fave fro yo topping is captain crunch though – Soooooo good!

Reply

yum! this recipe looks delicious! do you just use regular tomato sauce or a particular kind? have you tried this at all with greek yogurt instead of cream cheese?

Reply

I messed up!!! I use tomato soup… not sauce. Just the cheapest one usually:) I haven’t tried the greek yogurt… I am going to have to now! THANKS for the idea!

Reply

I thought you might’ve meant soup…but then I thought maybe I was weird for never having used tomato sauce in my chili haha! thanks :)

Reply

I can’t remember the last time I was on a treadmill! At least 3yrs since I’ve been in my house 3yrs and it’s still sitting in the garage. lol!

I’m a fan of Meb and Kara but also love Dean Karnazes and Deena Kastor.

I look at the scale every day and think I should weigh myself but never do.

I’m always afraid a hard gummy is going to yank out a filling! But I do love them separately.

Have a great day and stay warm!

Reply

Love the string puppet image. I like an up and comer elite Makai Clemons.

Reply

I LOVE this chili. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for bringing it into my life. I make it AT LEAST once a month (it lasts me about a week too.) You should try it with canned garbanzo beans / chick peas too! I also sometimes add canned mushrooms although that might be weird for some people. Once I even threw leftover brussel sprouts in there although I don’t recommend that.
Are you saying tomato sauce as in red sauce you would put on pasta? Instead of the old recipe’s tomato soup?

Reply

This makes me so so so happy! I need to try all of your ideas:) OOOPSSS thanks for catching my mistake! SOUP for sure:) Have a great day Jen!

Reply

Oh, I am definitely making your chili!!! It looks so good. Yum. I <3 my crock! Meb is awesome. He looks like such a great guy. I love when he crosses the finish line and hugs everyone! :-)
Glad to hear Brooke is feeling better.

Reply

Thank you for posting your chili recipe! I cannot wait to make it :)

As for black beans, do you drain the liquid first and then add?
As for tomato sauce, do you use 2 cans that are small (8-oz) or larger (16-oz)?

Reply

I do both but I think I prefer to drain the liquid first! Great question! I use the larger 16 oz tomato soup cans (sorry for the mistake in the recipe… it is soup not sauce:) ENJOY!! Have a great day!

Reply

Hi Janae- thanks for responding :) If we’re talking tomato soup, they normally come in 10-oz cans at my grocery in OH. I guess I’ll put in (3) 10-oz cans if you use (2) 16-oz cans.

Thanks again! Can’t wait to make this!

Reply

I havent been using an incline on the treadmill but I have been pushing the pace on it making it into high intensity speed work. I love Kara goucher, and lately I been finding Lauren fleshman hilarious and strong, especially in her column in runners world.

Reply

No gummy worms on my ice cream- I’m a chocolate girl so I’ll load it up with pb cups, Oreos, and chocolate sauce :)

Reply

glad brooke is feeling better and off to the store to perhaps grab ingredients to make that delicious looking crock pot dish! YUM!

ps. you can have all my gummy candies always.

Reply

Mary Keitany is my fav runner — been following her for years!! Such an inspiration.

I run in all kinds of conditions to avoid running on a treadmill. Can’t stand it! Would rather be out there on ice!

I don’t eat gummy bears or ice cream… maybe I should lighten up.

I don’t have a scale. Not sure what I weigh. It’s better that way.

Reply

I honestly don’t mind running on the treadmill during the winter months because I know that I can go outside when it is warm. I also like knowing I don’t have to venture outside in the freezing cold and can simply walk to the other room to run :) I have never tried gummy bears on my ice cream or froyo, but I need to! I’m glad Brooke is feeling better :)

Reply

That looks like the best ice cream party EVER! Gummy worms in ice cream… I’m not too sure about that. My husband would love it, but I’m all about the ice cream + chocolate, caramel, pb combo!

I’m pretty okay with running on the treadmill or running outside – the problem is the dog doesn’t get exercised when I run on the treadmill! Mine is usually set at 1% incline.

Lately I’ve been weighing myself every week because I’m pregnant. When I’m not pregnant I NEVER weigh myself! Scales are not my friend… even if I’m lighter than I expected, I still just feel not-good afterwards.

Must try that chili!!!

Reply

Oh, Janae. I LOVVVE how I can always count on you to make me smile (and laugh… out loud). That first comparison of other girls VS. you – HA!!!

You are my favorite elite runner!!! :) :) :)

And no no no to gummy bears on ice cream. I don’t like when they get rock hard :(

Greetings from DC! I love this chili and also have become addicted thanks to your sharing it on the blog in the past. You’ll be glad to know that Costco sells cream cheese in bulk to make getting ingredients for this even easier (though I get a lot of weird looks when people see the GIANT box of cream cheese in my fridge).

Reply

BRILLIANT!! Thank you, I will have to get it!

Reply

I really enjoy watching Meb. I met him at the SD Rock and Roll this year. He was pretty awesome.

Reply

I’m not enjoying treadmill season. I’m done by 20 minutes and can’t force more than 30. I get so board. I have been setting it to random so it adds incline off and on.

I weigh myself each week. I’m on WW and it keeps me in check.

I enjoy watching Meb, Kara and many other elites. I’m very inspired by those that are late 30’s and 40’s because they remind me I still have so much potential.

Reply

i love the treadmill. i don’t usually use any incline, but i really should!! maybe that will be my winter goal :) living in ND i’m a wimp and use the treadmill most of the year!

i weigh myself every morning..and try not to let any change get to me

i loove kara goucher & deena kastor. sooo inspiring!

no gummies on froyo, but give me all the oreos, cookie dough & pb cups :) frosted animal crackers is also a fav!

Reply

I am a treadmill lover but I just cannot bring myself to put the treadmill on an incline! I am such a sissy-please help!!

Reply

So happy to hear Brooke is feeling better.

You have the best friends..I love gummy bears on my ice cream

Reply

That home ice cream bar looks DIVINE! I love gummy bears in my ice cream– they get so cold and hard, it’s delicious!

Reply

I always run with an incline between 6-8%. It just feels normal to me now. I figure, if running on a treadmill is going to suck anyway, might as well make it suck a lot and then when I run outside it feels effortless and magical. You should give it a try!

Reply

I set the incline to 1% on regular runs, 0% for speed workouts (to mimic a flat track–though I should probably suck it up and just do speedwork at 1% too), and 4-5% for hill workouts.

I heart Meb!!! and I heart Kara!!!

I weigh myself pretty much every morning. On the one hand I think I should get away from that, but on the other hand I think it helps keep me accountable.

I do not like gummies on my fro-yo : )

Reply

I made this soup over the weekend… big hit with my family! Of course I had to top it with cheese and a handful of FRENCH’ French Fried Onions! :)
