How to keep your hands warm while you run.

I know what you are thinking right now:

‘Why in the world would Janae choose to use a bright red filter on her photo?  She sure is a strange one.’

No filter was used in the below picture.  This is just what happens to my skin when I go running in 20 degree weather.  With wind.

4 layers.  No big deal.  We went on the bike trail and did an easy/flat 6.75 miles.

I actually really love how my body feels once we get a mile or two into the run when it is cold outside BUT my silly fingers.  They just love feeling like pins and needles because they get so cold.  I am ALWAYS on the hunt for the world’s perfect running glove but I have not found them yet.

I had two layers of gloves on this morning and what always helps when my hands get really cold is for me make a fist with my hand inside of the gloves.  I don’t know why this works better than those finger slots on my gloves but it does.  I do love mitten gloves too… I just need to find mine.

THE BEST THING TO DO TO KEEP YOUR HANDS WARM WHILE YOU RUN.

These.  I just ordered my box.  Trust me on this one.

After a winter run I always crave a bowl of oatmeal with ab and bananas.  I make my oatmeal so incredibly hot in hopes that it will warm me up.

After bfast we went to go see Dr. Bennett.  I still go in about 2 times a month to get adjusted and to continue to work on any weak areas or to have him work on anything that is hurting.  Today he unjammed my heel to help a tendon that was bugging me on my foot… from when I fell a few weeks ago on the trails.

I have had some locals really want to go in and get help with injuries/weak areas from Dr. Bennett…

SOOOOO he is offering a $110 discount off of the first visit!  The 1st visit is 1 hour long and it includes: Consult ($55), Full Body Orthopedic and Performance Exam ($165) and 2 Units Performance Muscle Reactivation Treatments ($110 and this is what has REALLY helped my running and injuries).

Just tell them that you are an HRG reader and they will give you the $110 discount.  PS if you are a current patient (he has already helped a few readers a lot to get back out running pain free)—>  buy 3 muscle units and get 1 free!

Next was a trip to the indoor park at the mall because there is no way we are going to any outdoor parks for a very long time.

IMG 0873

While we were there I had to stock up on my favorite lip gloss from Victoria Secrets.  I go through these at an alarming rate.

IMG 0877

And then we came home and had pb & j and a turkey burger salad.  I will spare you a picture of the salad …

I have found that I love the running tops that have the mittens built right in. That way when my hands get hot I don’t have to carry my gloves around (and by carry my gloves I mean lose one and not realize until the end) for the rest of the run. I’m always pulling my hands in and then out and then in and on and on….

I’m not a big oatmeal fan, but stick some peanut butter and nutella (banana as a bonus) in there and I’m on board! Of course after adding those things I basically made it a cookie, but that pretty much explains my nutrition in general.

Hahaha – funny story. When I used to live with my old roommate we were so poor/cheap we never turned the heater, and my mom gave me a giant box of hand warmers she had from watching my brother play football, so I stuffed them in my pillow to stay warm, haha! Pretty funny looking back on it.

I really love that EOS chapstick, love their flavors!

PS I found some really great running gloves at Costco a few weeks ago, they were only $13 and they’ve got the whole texting capabilities on the thumb and forefinger. You should see if your Costco has them!

Reply

Okay, my heart hurt thinking about how cold you must have been! But way to go on being resourceful. The ones I am wearing are from Costco… maybe they are the same ones!

Reply

I’m loving them, but then again, Utah gets WAYY colder than Texas does. They might be enough for your winters!

Reply

I have tried so many pairs of gloves and nothing works to keep my hands warm. The worst is when my toes get cold and I can’t get them warm. Miserable! I need to buy a box of the handwarmers too! Good call! I have a lululemon headband that stays over my ears and doesn’t feel like it is going to pop off the end of my head! Love it!

I use about ten different kinds of chapsticks/glosses. I have a million of them stored at work, my car, purse, every room of my house. Its sad. I hate dry lips!

During the winter oatmeal is the best. During the summer I tend to take a break from it!

I live in an area that is flat as a pancake. If I want hills I have to drive about 10-15 miles.

I’m jealous I don’t live close enough to see Dr. Bennett! I need a good doctor here that understands a runners body!

Reply

I live in a flat & always warm area….so all of my tricks are geared toward not over-heating!

So Brooke and I can move in with you this winter then?

duh!

YOU ARE CRAZY PRETTY LADY. It’s freaking cold. But…i’m proud of you for being so awesome. Teach me your ways. (Except for the part about running in the cold. I’m good.) ;)

Reply

My tip for keeping your hands warm: come visit and run with me at the beach :) I promise you will not be cold! Last night, even when the sun went down, it was still 78* during my run!

Reply

Meet me tomorrow morning for a run on the beach:)

Gloves: Saucony Ulti-mitt and I tuck hand warmers in between the glove and mitten.
Headband: Lululemon Bang Buster
I think I could live off of oatmeal! I eat it all the time. Pomegranate seeds, berries, bananas, peaches…basically all fruits!
It’s really hilly in middle Tn.

Reply

Good call on the pomegranate seeds… I bet that is SOOO good.

I am a freak of nature and my hands are always super hot while running…..even in negative temps. I just wrap my hands in my sleeves for the first mile and after that they are on fire. I love getting out in the cold and even in the snow. I am going to miss it when we move south. I always forget my chapstick when I run in the winter…..usually remember a few miles in and then regret it the rest of the day, cursing myself and promising I will remember it next time….which I don’t.

Reply

My hands get the same way and I’ve always just layered two pairs of gloves, but it’s not ideal. I want to see how it goes with the handwarmers! I was thinking of purchasing a pair of fleece gloves and mittens but haven’t decided on anything yet. I figure I still have a few weeks until it’s bitter.

Reply

I JUST BOUGHT THAT LIP GLOSS!!

I am 100% an every-morning-oatmeal girl. I top mine with peanut butter and fruit (usually a banana or apple or strawberries). I just attended our local Remembrance Day ceremony yesterday and most certainly used those hand warmers in my gloves.

Reply

Very flat here in Houston! & My mother made me eat so much oatmeal as a child I can barely stand it now. Also, pork chops. lol Those are the two things she forced on us as kids that I rarely eat these days.

Brooke’s hair is getting so long!

Reply

I use lulu gloves but I find my fingers are still cold. I usually throw on two pairs and then a hot pack if it’s reallly chilly! Their ear warmers are AMAZING though!

I use Quo lip gloss :)

I love oatmeal in the winter. I ate too much of it when I was nursing my little guy though so I’m on a break right now. Stoked oats (Bucking ‘Eh) is my favourite!

Flat and hilly… we have one hill that is AWESOME for hill training! (Almost a mile straight up!)

Reply

Looks like Brooke is eating brown bread for her sandwich? Haha I thought at first it was chocolate cake! In one of the older posts where she is eating breakfast with the Christmas tree I thought she was eating a whole plate of cake. No judgement, a girl’s gotta get her cake on!

Reply

I have a condition called chilblains, and basically really icky stuff happens to my hands when they get cold.
I haven’t yet invested in gloves that you can heat but what I do use our gloves and I layer them under running mittens which does help!

I’d love to hear how the warmers work for you!!

Reply

I was JUST thinking of good ways to keep my hands warm. 26 degrees on my run at noon today. Insane. I wasn’t wearing gloves. Oops. I still don’t have running gloves so I’ll just use regular ones for now probably.

I am a Burt’s Bees lover but lately I’ve been loving Baby Lips and EOS too.

Oatmeal: I was just thinking about this too! I have hated it since I was a kid but I want to give it a try again this winter.

Reply

I think the first works because you’re using body heat from your palm to help warm your fingers, which get cold the quickest.

Oatmeal is the best. I hated it when I was a kid, now I eat it for breakfast three times a week.

Reply

I love using Burts Bees for chapstick. Lancome’s Juicy Tubes is THE BEST lip gloss I’ve ever used!!!

My favorite oatmeal combination is rolled oats, chia seeds, peanut butter, mashed banana, cinnamon, & water. It’s delish!

Reply

I love the hand warmers, but I find they don’t stay warm for super long. Maybe I should bring extras? You are seriously a champ for running in 20 degree weather. I am such a chicken and go for the treadmill! I found this yummy oatmeal recipe this morning and I am really excited to try it out :)

Reply

I love those hand warmers. I even take them with me when we go camping…it gets cold some nights.

I love oatmeal…I eat it every day for breakfast. Fresh berries are a fav. along with greek yogurt. Have you tried pumpkin butter from Trader Joes? Yummy best add in the fall.

Reply

I have a really awesome pair of Saucony gloves that are like gloves and then mittens that go over the gloves :)….love them.
I live in SUCH a hilly area and just moved here about a year ago……it took some getting used to!
I like oatmeal and just like to add cinnamon and PB :)

Reply

I have been researching all of the running gloves and have finally decided to get the lululemon mittens which let you tap your phone and also come with a removable layer for extra warmth. I am going to the store to get them tomorrow, hope they have them left!

Reply

Oh, the hand warmers are a good idea! I see those everywhere now that winter is quickly approaching. I, too, find that my hands don’t stay as warm with my fingers in the gloves. Weird, eh? Probably because all the heat is dissipating.

I am curious to know how you drive to your runs when it is so cold out. Isn’t it icy on the roads? Even with winter tires, I feel like it is still scarey and slippy and slidey. I usually quit meeting my running buddies when it gets icy but this year I want to overcome the icky ice!

Reply

I started using VS lipgloss the last time you posted about it. Now I’m addicted and my co-workers think I smell like jr. High. I’m good with that!
I use light gloves and make sure my LS layer has thumb holes and use them. I’m good up to 18 degrees with minimal wind. It was 1 degree in Park City this morning. Brrrrrrrr. I’m staying inside!

Reply

I am obsessed with Fresh Sugar lip balm! You can get it at Sephora. It goes on SO nice and thick so you don’t have to constantly reapply, which is kind of nice since its pricy (but oh so worth it!). You should definitely try some!

Have you ever thought about doing a post about your early days of running (meaning can’t even run 3 miles!) and how you built up to the mileage you are at? It would be awesome to hear about it! Of course, with your talent, I imagine you came out of the womb running 5 miles a day :)

How do you cook your frozen turkey burgers from Costco?

Reply

I actually look really cool in lifting gloves and just accessories in general and the biggest problem I have in winter fitness is cold hands and frozen knees. I need knee warmers and gloves!

Reply

I have the same problem, and it took me forever to find the best pair….Smartwool!! I wear a lot of their accessories on my run’s, but their mittens above all keep my hands SO warm I can only wear them on the coldest of runs.
http://www.smartwool.com/accessories/casual-gloves/cozy-mittens.html

Reply

Totally agree! Smartwool has the best stuff. I have a pair of their gloves that are amazing.

Reply

I only wear mittens. My fingers need each other to keep warm. I’ll have to try these. Thanks!

Reply

I love mittens! I usually buy a big pair so I can put finger gloves underneath. My mom is really crafty and knits some pretty warm headbands! They don’t stay in place to run in so I usually just wear a beanie. I have this really warm one I bought for skiing from NorthFace, it’s knitted and then has fleece around the ears : )

I am not a huge oatmeal fan, I don’t hate it, I just usually reach for something else.

It’s pretty hilly here, I guess thats why I always pick races that have some decent hills, I just can’t get away from them!

Reply

I have North Face gloves that work great for me. They even clip together so when I get warm I clip them to my SpiBelt.

Reply

My favorite lip balm is from The Body Shop, and my favorite lip glosses are from Bath and Body Works.

Reply

I am so glad I don’t have to worry about warm hands but when I was in NYC I was really jealous of those people with the hand warmers!

One of these days I will make it to beautiful Utah and see those stunning mountains… one day.

Reply

You need fleece mittens. They work a zillion times better than any glove out there!

Reply

Do you ever get sick from running outside?? I feel like whenever I run in the cold I end up with a cold or just not feeling well at all and it’s miserable! Just wondering if that happens to you or anyone else??

I only use Burt’s Bees original Chapstick- I feel like all other brands make my lips worse! And I live the cool minty taste/smell of Burt’s :)

Reply

I love mixing any kind of berries in oatmeal. Yum! But the other day I mixed in chocolate chips… Wow that was amazing! :)
What mall were you at? I live in herriman and the malls closest to me in salt lake don’t have nice play places.

Reply

My homemade (gift from a friend) wool fleece lined mittens are my BFF from November through March here in Indiana. My fingers freeze in any type of gloves, mittens all the way!

Reply

Janae–Here’s a tip on those handwarmers you bought. The Grabber brand are okay, but if you reorder try to get either Hot Hands or Heat Factory brand. We live in WI and snowmobile, snowshoe, hunt, and play in the snow a LOT, and found that the Grabber ones don’t get as warm and die sooner than the other two brands. Sometimes the Grabber ones would even be duds. I’m sure they will be fine, but if the other ones are available for the same price I’d grab those instead.

Reply

Thanks, I’m going to remember this tip! I use hand warmers when I race – standing at the start of cold races. They help!

Reply

I have to use hand warmers, too and even that doesn’t really help. I have Raynauds and even when it is 50 I need gloves. You are tough – I usually do all my winter running on the treadmill!
Love the picture of Brooke playing at the mall – that is a very cool indoor playground!!

Reply

I always use socks!

Reply

Me too!

Reply

I wish I liked oatmeal, I only like it in cookies with chocolate chips.

I love Brooke..need more pictures of her.

I loved going to a chiropractor. It was the only year I was injury free.

Reply

I underestimated the cold today and wore shorts and t shirt. Turns out the wind chills were in the 20s… 20 mph winds… Oops! I actually cut it short and went home when I couldn’t move my arms or lips. Winter took me by surprise here in Dallas!

Did you get any snow?

Good for you for toughing it out! Spring will be here soon!

Whitney linked you to my secret winter running weapon…SmartWool mittens. I always layered them over the more traditional stretchy running gloves (w/ or w/o text finger capabilities). That combo worked for me down to around a calm 0-5F or 15F w/ additional windchill. My favorite lightweight but oh-so-warm running beanie is also by SmartWool: http://www.smartwool.com/nts-light-195-reversible-training-beanie-5.html?swatch=Black/Graphite

All winter is a quest for me to find the perfect balance of warmth without being too hot. Maybe someday I’ll figure it out…

Reply

When I started reading your post, I was going to suggest handwarmers…then I saw you posted about them! I just ran with hand warmers for the first time a few weekends ago, and I was shocked at how much of a difference they really made!

Reply

I got a pair of mizuno gloves a few years ago. When you sweat or they get wet it heats them up like the heat packs you bought-I usually have to take them off if I run for too long because they get sooooo warm. I highly recommend them!!

Reply

Great idea on the hand warmers! My fingers are always frozen and I’ve never found gloves warm enough. I even bought North Face ones that were expensive last year and they didn’t help. I really wish I could find a doctor like yours in Phoenix to help me with rebalancing muscles. How did you come across yours?

Reply

I feel your cold-hands pain. Once I was going horseback riding with my sister on a cold morning. I was certain that I’d brought my gloves but couldn’t find them when we got there. My sister offered to let me use one of hers, but that seemed like a bad idea, plus, I’d somehow forgotten my gloves so I should have to deal with the cold.

It was so very cold that my hands stung almost immediately. I couldn’t even warm them against the horse. He didn’t want me to touch him! So I figured if I found I couldn’t ride without gloves, I’d just head back to the barn and let my sister enjoy her ride. My mistake shouldn’t ruin the ride for both of us.

About half and hour later, we passed one of the stablehands on her way out to find a late-to-return rider. She commented that my hands must be really cold! As paying attention to managing my mount had completely distracted me, I’d forgotten my hands were cold. When I looked down at them, they were RED! And, better yet, they were toasty!

Then I found my gloves in the car, exactly where I’d left them. My sister had been sitting on them and we’d both gotten out of the car at the same time so I hadn’t seen them. D’oh!

Now, I typically wear insulated leather gloves, but some days mittens would be warmer. I get my gloves at department stores on sale either early or late in the season (not more then $25). I wear new gloves for “nice” the first year and then for “work/fitness” the next year. Any

I like Blistex Medicated Lip Balm in the green tube. It’s SPF15 and I’ve never had chapped lips since I started using it.

Oatmeal: Steel-cut oats with cinnamon, chopped walnuts, Craisins, blueberries (usually frozen), and unsweetened, vanilla-flavored almond milk, assembled the night before and nuked in the morning.

I live in north Central Maryland surrounded by rolling terrain with the Catoctin mountains nearby. I have no right to complain.

Reply

Florida is probably as flat as it gets so I don’t get much hill training in. Although a few people have been encouraging me to start running the bridges so I might do that (or running up stairs in high rise buildings.

I use chapstick a lot (cake batter is my latest favorite scent)

Reply

I haven’t found gloves that I like to run in, which generally means I don’t wear any. I do have some jackets/sweatshirts that have a little fold over part that covers my hand, which doesn’t bug me the way gloves do. Maybe I need to try mittens.

Um, I have a ridiculous number of lip gloss/chap sticks. Like, all of them. I have a problem.

I only like oatmeal when it’s really cold out, that time of year is almost here!

It’s mostly hilly around here. There’s a relatively flat 1.1 mile loop in the trails that I run, so I can stick to that if I feel like avoiding the hills.

Reply

I love headband ear warmers for winter running! I have a Brooks hot pink one and a wooly knit-type navy blue one and between the two of them, they go with most of my running outfits.
I love putting dried fruit in my oatmeal- cherries, cranberries, and blueberries are my favorite.
It’s impossible to run anywhere around where I live without running hills, which I think has actually made me a stronger runner (but it’s killer on days when I’m sore or tired!)

Reply

I use the costco ones too! Seattle never got too terribly cold, but this is my first DC winter and I am absolutely terrified.

Oatmeal is my favorite ever but I think it upsets my stomach, which makes no sense. I like making it with half water half almond milk, peanut butter, and TJ’s reduced sugar jam. Sometimes greek yogurt too, if I make them overnight. Lately it’s just been the yogurt with PB&J, which is almost as good.

Reply

Love the wide headbands! I get the running shirts that go over my hands so I don’t have to worry about gloves.
I have fallen in love with oatmeal. I add a little raw cane sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg! YUM!
A flat trail in my area is impossible! Only way is at the track! Love living in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Makes me feel fast when I do get to run a flat course!

Reply

I just use the cheap dollar fleece gloves from Walmart that way if I lose them I’m not out twenty bucks. For some reason my running/hiking gloves seem to disappear at an alarming rate.

I love walnuts and bananas on my oatmeal, I love oatmeal in the winter. It’s usually all I eat. Quaker has a banana nut flavor that has added protein and it can keep me full way past lunch!

I live in Utah so it is really easy to find both hilly and flat areas to run, but getting up early enough in the morning to drive there won’t happen much this winter, unfortunately.

Reply

My aunt told me that doing windmills with your arms helps with your circulation and gets your hands warm again. It actually does help!

Reply

i wear ski mittens during all my winter runs! i look like a weirdo but it is the only thing that works for me. if it is really cold i add the hand warmers.

Reply

I have a middle layer running top that has thumb holes AND you can cover your hand completely. Here is a pic: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/460000549414417778/

It’s from Salomon, I don’t know if you have that in US :)

Reply

im eating oatmeal right now! with banana, protein powder and some mixed seeds!

Aberdeen/Scotland in general is hilly!

Lancome Juicy Tubes are my fave lip gloss!

Reply

I use Karrimor gloves with a key pocket and they’ve always been good. My Sweaty Betty chill resistor top (<3 this) also has built in mittens!

The fist works better than your glove fingers because it means the body heat coming off your palms is redirected to your fingers instead of lost to air btw- surrounding body heat of palm will always trump thin running material in stopping heat loss, the gloves more function to stop added wind chill, not to keep in heat. To keep in heat they'd need a reflective inner layer and your hands would get SUPAH sweaty.

I use a buff over my ears. My only concern is that they block some noise too.

I use Burts Bees peppermint chapstick.

I love oatmeal. Most days I eat it with banana and hazelnut milk (this tastes amazing if used instead of normal milk), for a treat i put dark choc in it- again amazing w hazelnut.

I live in a pretty hilly area but the canal always gives flat options. Im also close to a lot of real hills so take advantage of that!

Reply

I have a couple of pairs of “running gloves”, but my hands get HOT. It’s very strange. :\ I definitely have to cover up my ears, so a headband is used 99% of the time in the winter.

I used to eat oatmeal with pb, banana, and some honey drizzled on top every single day! I kinda got oatmeal’d out, but sometimes there’s nothing better after a cold run. <3

I'm a Burt's Bees girl most of the time, but I'll throw on Neutrogena lip gloss every once in a while.

Reply

Now I REALLY want oatmeal because it sounds delicious!!
I use gloves that are both mittens and gloves, that seems to work the best for me.
I love VS gloss, it is the BEST!!

Reply

TJ’s almond butter is the BEST!

Reply

I have a pair of Norwegian wool mittens (double lined) that keep my hands VERY warm in the winter while running–I only wear gloves when it is in the 30’s.

I heat up some soup and have it in a mug after a cold run–I am not much for sweets. I figure it is a good way for me to get veggies in too. Yesterday it was sweet potato-lentil (ironically which was sweet & spicy!!)

Reply

I have brooks gloves with a mitten attachment. It almost like a windbreaker layer that goes over the fingers and you can flip it back as your hands warm up or if you need to use your fingers for something. Plus it has a little light in them for nighttime running.

And i always wear a hat. Headbands let too much heat escape for me.

I have been using Burt’s Bees lip shimmer in Nutmeg for years. Love it!

I like oatmeal sometimes. It has to be creamy with whole milk added and have walnuts and brown sugar or a dollop of grape jelly =)

My neighborhood is all rolling hills.

Reply

I have some running gloves that I wear under mittens and can remove them as I go. I don’t run in the cold outside too often though, I’m rather sissy-ish in that manner. Plus asthma sometimes gets in the way. But if I leave from the house, I leave my gloves/hat/pants etc. on the heater or in the dryer for a few minutes to warm them. When I’m in the car, I blast the heat on the steering wheel before I get in, then I sit on my gloves to warm them up while I’m driving so they’re toasty by the time I get to where I’m running.. or walking, or work.

Reply

I just got done eating my oatmeal!
Overnight oats with just oats, greek yogurt, and cinnamon. :)

Reply

I definitely have to do mittens! I do the same thing as you if I wear gloves, I ball up my hand in a fist! My fingers are always cold, but mittens to the trick.

Reply

I use gloves and hats from Target :). I’ve just decided that my hands are going to be cold and that makes holding my nice warm coffee afterwards so much better :)

I love Burts Bees, but due to cost restrictions I have been using Carmex. Gotta have something during the winter though!

Love oatmeal! I like some kind of nut butter, cinnamon sugar, nuts, and sometimes a little bit of maple syrup.

I live in a very hilly area (Nashville). I can find flat routes, but it takes a lot of creativity. Since I do most of my races around here, the hills are good for me (at least that’s what I tell myself)

Reply

Thanks for letting me know about those hand warmers! I also struggle with numbness in my finger & toes, especially during runs, and have been looking for a simple solution. Back in college my fingers would get numb for hours just from sitting in a cold classroom during winter! The struggle is real…

Reply

I love Burt’s Bees tinted lip balms. I kinda freak out if I don’t have one with me at all times.
I make what I call “Reeses Oatmeal” by mixing in PB and chocolate whey protein. Yum!
My house is surrounded by hills. There is a nice flat trail nearby though but I have to either run uphill to get there or drive.

Reply

My hands always freeze! I have not found my miracle gloves, either!

Reply

Brr, my hands feel cold just from reading your post haha! I love those little handwarmers too – I’ve sometimes seen them at the $1 bins at Target!!

Reply

I wear under armour gloves for children (b/c I have small hands). They are pretty warm but still thin.

Reply

Brooke looks like a little animal crawling through that log, what a neat indoor park!

I run outside in Snowmobile gloves, which are a thick soft mitt inside a leather mitt and it goes up to my elbows. I also ball up my hand into a fist, cupping those hand warmers! It works!

Reply

I’m a big proponent of putting hot hands in gloves for cold weather running! When it gets SUPER cold, sometimes I put the toasty toes ones in my shoes, too :)

Reply

I love using reusable hand warmers! The brand repeat the heat sells mini warmers that you can boil in water to “recharge” them and use again.

Reply

My hands are always freezing then get hot, then cold then hot. I use cheap ones too because I keep losing them.

I eat oatmeal just about everyday. I use chia seeds, ground flax, 10 grain cereal, raisins, walnuts and almond butter usually. I love my own own mix!

Reply

I LOVE LOVE my Mizuno thermo breath gloves. They’re just like the regular stretchy ones you can buy for like $1. But these keep my hands so warm. I have never found other gloves I love as much. I run mostly on the good ole Jordan River Parkway .. yep .. fellow Utahn here.

Reply

I was just wondering. Do you get free or discounted services from Dr. Bennett? No big deal, but I thought maybe you did as you link to him quite a bit.

I’ve never tried almond butter in my oatmeal but am certainly going to try! Thanks.
