-Brooke eats her pb and j sandwiches in a very interesting way.  First, she pulls the two pieces of bread apart, licks off the jelly, then the pb and then puts the two pieces of bread back together and eats it.  PS that is squaw bread even though it looks like a brownie sandwich.

-Gotta love the post workout hair horns.  I love Monday workouts because after a day of rest (I always take a rest day on Sunday) and eating 4,000 calories of almond butter cookies I love having a good sweaty workout the next morning.  I was so hot afterwards that I didn’t put my jacket on for 15 minutes after I left the gym and it was 21 degrees outside.

No thank you, I would rather eat dirt!

My significant other is not really into running (he likes weightlifting and does MMA for cardio), but he’ll run one or two 5Ks a year with me. And by “with me” I mean he finishes 15 minutes before me even though he only runs two times a year. That isn’t frustrating or anything!!! ;)

Reply

My husband is exactly the same! We did a half marathon together in September, I diligently did all the training, he rocks up and finishes like 2 mins ahead of me! Life is just not fair!!!

Reply

I used to pluck out my gray hairs but now I’m getting so many if I pluck them out I’ll have bald spots. I wish it was true that when you plucked out a gray hair, two came back in its place. I’d have really thick hair that I could dye my natural color!

Egg Nog candy corn. Gross. Egg nog in general grosses me out.

My husband runs regularly and has done one half marathon. I don’t think he’ll ever do a full, but as long as he’s active and he supports my love of running, he’s a winner.

Reply

Have you heard that saying, “if you pull a grey hair, six more come to its funeral”? Haha my mom says that.

Reply

Cait Chock is crazy talented!
Egg nog: I’m good for one sip…then I’m done.
I love the Saturday long run!
My husband runs…just not quite as much as me;)

Reply

Egg nog equals food torture. Blah
Saturdays are my best work out days because husband watches the kids for me.
No, sniff. Husband has flat feet, so he doesn’t run. He does swim though. I think we’re going to do one of those team triathalons some day. We’d be a good team because I’m deathly afraid of water.
It’s never too cold for ice cream! I’m glad you’re teaching Brooke this at an early age. :-)

Reply

Eggnog candy corn!?!?!? That sounds good I think? Maybe too much of a good thing. I love egg nog and candy corn separately. Maybe they shouldn’t be combined!

Favorite workout day… probably Monday because I don’t run on Sundays and usually miss working out after a day off :)

My husband is into running only when he has to be. He has to run ~2 miles for the military so he keeps in shape for that. Though he does say he will run a marathon with me some day. We’ll see, I’m a little skeptical!

Reply

I love Monday workouts because it sets the whole tone for my entire week. How good will my other days of fitness be, how good will my sleep be, how good will my work be and how positive I will be. Egg nog….I would rather eat dirt. Yuck…

Reply

My boyfriend is afraid to come running with me because he thinks I’ll leave him in the dust. This is both flattering and annoying.

Reply

Ew no to the candy corn!

My husband supports my running fully but does not run himself. He hikes, though. :)

Reply

I am all about random posts. Probably cause that is how my brain works too. Maybe that is why we get along so well.

Ross tries to pluck my gray hairs. They don’t bother me though so I have to fight him off to get him to stop. Ross runs when I can’t/don’t. So I think he has been consistent 3 times in our marriage. He has found a new love for mt biking lately though and goes often. He wants me to go with him, but I kind of fear for my life.

I like egg nog. I have to thin it out with sprite though #noalcohol #muchmormon cause otherwise I feel like I am drinking snot. Those candy corns though? No thank you.

‘I am going to do it right this time!’ Hahahaha. I love you. But seriously.

Reply

I do not think I have a favorite workout day…some workouts definitely feel better than others, but that does not correlate to any specific day for me.

My S.O. is big into hiking & climbing…like all day long hikes or climbing excursions. So he is not a runner, but he supports me in my passion. I swore after my last breakup that I would ONLY date someone that was physically fit. Might sound shallow to some but it is one priority in which our lives need to mesh. :)

As for egg nog…NO, unless it is mixed with a little something. ;)

Reply

Agree with you on egg nog, disgusting.

I think Saturday long runs might be my favorite run days! It’s my chance to take it easy and really enjoy myself without rushing around to or from work!

My husband is NOT into running. I can occasionally get him to run a 5k with me, but it takes a LOT of begging!

Reply

My boyfriend is a runner! He whips out 3:00-hour marathons like there is no tomorrow. He’s helped me a lot with my running and is a huge inspiration!

Reply

T and I met at a cross country race. I say it’s the best because then they understand if you want to go to bed early for running (generally they do too). Plus you can run together if you want (but not too much…anyways).

It’s funny I was writing a random post and my first line was like “eh I don’t know how to introduce this word vomit”…ha.

Reply

My husband isn’t a runner, but he is a hard core cyclist. It’s actually great that we don’t participate in the same sport because we are both super competitive. It gives us room to be competitive without being competitive with each other.

Egg nog – gross. I feel like I’m drinking vomit. It’s disgusting.

Reply

Haha, gross! I’ve never tried egg nog, and after that vivid description, I never will!

Reply

ew to the egg nog thing…
hubs dislikes running but is very supportive of my love for it :)
he knows that if i dont get my run he gets a crazy wife to deal with lol…

Reply

I have never tried eggnog, but I doubt I will start now.

My favorite day to work out is after I sleep in on Saturday morning and drink Advocare Spark to get me going – and then go to the gym: weekends = I almost have the entire gym to myself.

Reply

I would much, much, MUCH rather eat dirt. I don’t know how people genuinely enjoy egg nog. Blegh.

I love Tuesday workouts. First of the week and it’s always speed day!

My boyfriend does not run. He has absolutely no desire to do it. But, he’s my biggest fan and supporter. He’s at every finish line and always buys me ice for ice baths after long runs :)

Reply

Blech, a big NO to eggnog.
I love running on relaxing Saturday mornings with friends because I usually don’t have to rush my run to move onto the next thing!

Reply

OMG you crack me up. i ALWAYS get the “date a runner” things on the internet. the internet has profiled me so hard. ;-)

Reply

I take one or two sips of eggnog on Christmas Eve, for tradition’s sake, but that is it. Eggnog candy corn sounds gross!

I love Friday workouts, because they are my shortest run of the week and are usually pretty fast (5 or 6 miles).

My husband does run, but he is not as obsessed as me. I did convince him to run with me yesterday when we were in Colonial Williamsburg, VA for our daughter’s dance workshop. We usually only run together once a year, because I am faster and like to talk, and it drives him crazy! He said yesterday’s run was the fastest he has ever run- oops! Lol!

Reply

I would try those candy corn based on my candy corn love. However, eggnog on its own is so disgusting…!
I like weekend workouts because I have plenty of time which is awesome. :-)
My significant other is also a runner and a triathlete. I too, made a wise choice the second time and found someone who understands the need for miles haha! Honestly though, I really enjoy having a workout buddy and someone who doesn’t question my large number of running shoes.

Reply

I’m a big fan of Monday runs and Saturday (long run day) runs! It feels so good to start the week off on Monday with a run, especially after a rest day on Sunday.

My husband just got into running and so we run together three times a week which is so much fun! Sometimes though I’ll wake up early and sneak in a few miles before we head out together, although not as much now that it’s super cold and dark outside.

Reply

I looove egg nog – but not in more than a few sips. Starbucks has excellent egg nog lattes though :)

Reply

I am such a sucker for those tiny kids Patagonia jackets, adorable!!!!!

Reply

I don’t care if the person I am dating runs; they just need to respect my routine/races and long run mornings! I would actually prefer not to date someone who runs, or anyone who runs/works out seriously. I have always found those to be too serious about it and not fun to eat with/talk about other things.

Reply

I love thursdays. It’s my “WERQ” day. If you don’t know what WERQ is, you need to google it.

My husband is who got me into running! He’s a college track coach :)

Reply

ive never tried eggnog(or anything eggnog flavored) because it sounds SO gross!

Reply

1) I would rather eat dirt! It’s all I can do to make my parents eggnog latte’s during the Holidays when I’m home! (for some reason I’m the family barista, which I don’t mind except Thanksgiving-Christmas).

2) I like weekend workouts. I always feel rushed trying to squeeze it in during the week before/after work.

3) Yes! He is super into working out. We can’t run together because he is WAY faster than I am, but we go to the gym together and he helps me with my weight routine.

Reply

Egg nog? Gross!

My husband HATES running… Silly man.

Reply

I appreciate the computer not being sarcastic when I hit enter by accident after typing in my info…sans a comment. It just said, “please write a comment”.

I’ve never tried eggnog. I’m totally okay with that.

I always buy the books to help the kids, but I never use them. So wrong. Throwing money away. :(

Reply

I like eggnog in small doses, sipping it for an evening dessert. I maybe have it once a year. Has anyone tried the Starbucks Eggnog lattes? Any good?

Favorite day to do my long runs or work out is Sunday. I feel like I can get in a good sweat in the morning and then relax the rest of the day to prepare for the week ahead.

My husband is very active and we try to work out together when we can. However, when it comes to my long weekend runs, he will ride his bike next to me for support.

Reply

My hubby does the same thing. I call him my sherpa. :) Those are some of the best runs!

Reply

Sherpa. I like it!

Reply

No thank you on the egg nog!

My favourite day to workout is Monday—start the week off right! :)

My next bf definitely has to be a runner!!

Reply

I don’t really like egg nog, but I would be willing to try the candy corn because it seems like they might be good.

EARLY morning workouts for me!

My husband does not run but does T-25. Even though he is not a runner he totally gets how much I love it and is very supportive. Through my smiles and tears and back to smiles again….

Reply

I hate eggnog – gross. AND it seems like a HUGE waste of calories to me!

My husband runs – sometimes we run together like if doing a long run. During races we do our own thing. I run more than he does but he is faster!

I’m not sure I have a consistently favorite day of the week to work out although I do like the relaxed pace of the long run on the weekend! But sometimes Wednesday speed work makes me feel bad a$$!

Reply

No thank you to egg nog.
Thursday runs are my fave because I am off so I can run in the late morning. My favorite!
My boyfriend runs too but we are very different runners. He runs with his dog and doesn’t use a garmin or have tons of running gear. He only does two half marathons a year and he doesn’t combine anything social around his running.
I run races all year including sometimes 10 or more half marathons and one or two fulls. I always make my races social gatherings with my running peeps. We eat afterward we travel to destination races. Yeah totally different. But we spectate for each other which is nice. :)

Reply

The idea of egg nog grosses me out. I’ve honestly never had it…

My favorite day is either weekend day. I love being able to have the entire free to decide when I want to run rather than have to squeeze it in whenever I can or wake up at a terrifying hour when it’s FREEZING.

Husband is not a runner. I can’t blame him…I wasn’t a runner until a year ago. He’s not really someone who “works out”….our working out tends to be more hiking or biking. He’s REALLY supportive though. Best crew member hands down. While I would love to run with him…I also think it’s kind of awesome that we have our own things.

Reply

YUCK! No eggnog for me!!!!!
My significant other :)…my husband…and I just ran a marathon together this weekend!!! :). We don’t actually run together, but we both run them. I ran it faster…but in all fairness I train really hard and he barely runs and then just goes and does a marathon!!! His highest mileage week was 28 and he ran a 3:58 marathon!!!!!

Reply

I love egg nog if I thin it out with milk. And egg nog ice cream is so good.
My husband doesn’t run although we now have a deal that if he does some races with me, I will go hunting with him. We’ll see how his turns out.

Reply

Dirt > Egg Nog :)

Reply

If I don’t get a workout in on Monday I feel like it sets the tone for the rest or my week! I would rather eat dirt than drink eggnog as well, it’s not appealing to me at all.

Reply

There is this twitter service in the UK called @RunDating to meet fellow runners to date! Perhaps one of you should start it in the USA!

Reply

Egg nog – blech!! And actually my first date with my now husband was a run! I knew he was a keeper ;)

Reply

haha love that your mother sent you that graphic-hilarious! i love monday workouts too…although that hasn’t happened for me yet and probably won’t (new haircut that smells good is taking the lead).

my husband works out a bit less than i do but we definitely motivate each other to step it up and keep healthy together!

Reply

no thank you on the eggnog.
Saturday is my favorite day to work out, I can push hard knowing that Sunday is rest day.
my spouse is handicapped, so I work out alone. Mostly that’s ok however I get very envious of those who have a life/ workout partner that are one in the same. He will watch me race and video tape me at various stages of agony. LOL

Reply

Aww…poor Brooke with teeth pain :( I just got home from the dentist and wish I had a smoothie! She looks so cute in that bottom picture though! Two random things: I love when we get updates/sneak peaks into your love life because I’m so excited for what’s ahead for you! I know you’re going to find someone AMAZING! Also, I like when you answer the questions you post at the bottom :) Just my two cents!

Eggnog candy corn sounds gross…but I would try it just to see!
Oddly enough, I kind of like working out on Fridays because the gym is pretty empty and after a good sweat session, I feel like I can properly get the weekend started!

Reply

I despise egg nog in any form but compensate for it by loving everything peppermint and pumpkin.

My fiancé has recently started working out more so hopefully we’ll get to run together soon.

My favorite workout day is Saturday because I get to sleep in a little bit and it’s light outside when I go!

Reply

My husband just recently got into running after I’ve been trying to get him to run with me for years. Turns out he’s naturally fast, so now I can’t keep up!

Reply

I love egg nog!! I just bought some egg nog ice cream, thinking of making my own version of McDonalds egg nog shake!

My favorite days lately are Saturday and Sunday. I do my longer runs then, and Sunday’s have been trail running days (till it starts raining) and those are tough but fun!

My husband is the occasional runner. He wants me to sign him up for the same races I do, but he half-ass trains. I swear if I stopped running or doing races he would never lace up again.

Reply

I’ve never had egg nog and have no desire! My hair kind of looks like that lately whether I just ran or not. And I love the “just as a friend” thing! No grey hairs yet for me but I keep looking :)

Reply

Does Brooke do that with oreos and cookies with fillings too? Looks like she’s adopting the oreo way of eating into everything, which is very adorable. I can’t imagine eating the good stuff first and saving the bland for last, like she does with the bread.

PS-Workout horns meant you went beast mode. :)

Reply

Eggnog: occasionally but it must be diluted with milk.
Favorite Workout day: Saturdays. I love long miles.
Husband: We met at our local running group 4yrs ago. He’s much faster and has done 3x the amount of marathons than I have. He’s not a talker so we can’t stand running together. LOL.

Reply

I LOVE eggnog!!!!!! My favorite day to work out is Sunday because I meet some of my favorite people for a nice long run :)
My hubby is a marathoner!!
Question: what is squaw bread??

Reply

I’ve never tried egg nog before!

I love Sunday workouts as I don’t feel like I need to rush or be finished by a certain time :)

Reply

Don’t date a runner!! You are already obsessed enough!! :) date someone who expands your world, not narrows it! Obviously my husband is not a runner! Haha. :)

My grandma in law makes he made eggnog–oh my gosh best stuff ever. It seriously tastes just like melted ice cream. Before trying that I wasn’t a huge eggnog person.

Reply

Home made, not he made!! Oops

Reply

On eggnog – no thank you I would rather eat dirt! I have tired to make myself like it or anything with eggnog in it, but I can’t.

Friday and Saturday are my favorite time to work out. I am so motivated by rest days!

My husband ran a half marathon with me one time, and that will be the only time he runs with me. He does not enjoy it as much as I do, but I still give him mad props for doing one with me : )

Reply

For real: Dirt > Egg nog. :\

I think Saturday is my favorite day to workout. I can get everything done and sleep in the next day!

Harry is a seven-time marathoner. We actually met in 2009 when we were both running the Chicago Marathon.
[/gag eyeroll smile]

Reply

I would rather eat dirt than eggnog haha! My favorite day to workout is also Mondays but Saturdays are a close second because I love long runs:)
My husband got into running before we got engaged after we moved in together. Its so fun being able to talk to him about running and even though I am more obsessed that him he totally understands. But we rarely run together, we like to do our own things. The only downside is our apartment is always full of sweaty clothes!

Reply

Egg nog ice cream is so delicious. I like regular egg nog (the commercial kind from the store), but can’t really bring myself to drink it because I just feel it clogging my arteries. (Ice cream is totally healthy, of course!)

Reply

I don’t like to drink egg not but I’ll use it as cream in my coffee. And just NO to those candy corn.
My favorite days to work out are the weekend ’cause I’m not pressed for time.
My husband and I both like to work out, now anyway. We were lazy and overweight for years! I gradually started running and working out, which reminded him of how much fun being active can be.

Reply

Dirt. Definitely over egg nog.

I think my favorite workout day is the day I do my long run (either Sat or Sun depending….) I don’t get up as early as the weekday and it usually ends up being a social run that sets the tone for the rest of a wonderful day.

My husband was a non-runner then trained for and ran a half marathon last February. Then stopped. Completely. However, he’s agreed to run another half this next February. So it has started again. If running a half marathon once a year turns into his thing, I’m good with that. But he still claims to hate running.

Reply

I think egg nog is disgusting and should be fed exclusively to really, really mean people. My hubs was not into fitness when we met, but was on board with it a few years later, and now is on the same level of obsession as me. I’m glad, I’m not sure we would make it otherwise. He has started to run, too! I don’t have a favorite day of the week, but I love the days that I get to go early (before breakfast) and get that time all to myself. It really sets the tone and helps my mood for the day. Alternate answer : Thursday, the gym is usually empty, which I like.

Reply

Oh my gosh i didn’t know Patagonia made baby jackets! Adorable.

Egg nog: DISGUSTING. My husband loves it though.

My favorite day to work out is Tuesday or Saturday. I am always feeling my best those days!

My husband doesn’t run. The furthest he has ever gone was 3 miles and that was with me. He collapsed at the end. He likes to swim for workouts and he tries to walk the stairs at work daily… he works long hours.

Reply

My hair stylist told me not to pluck the gray hairs cause she said they might be growing in the same spot and I will end up with a thinner or bald spot…

Reply

I like dating people who like to run/exercise but are not obsessed with it. As long as they understand my early morning tendencies and inability to stay up last ten, then were good!

Reply

Eggnog candy corn, that is NOT okay ;) Love post workout hair, makes me feel accomplished :)

Reply

I LOVE LOVE LOVE eggnog everything – eggnog cookies, lattes, cheesecake, the actual drink. But I’m glad eggnog season is only about 6 weeks. It’s so rich (and high in calories).

My SO won’t exercise with me at all. He bikes everywhere and plays hockey; he just hates the gym/running. While that can be annoying on the motivation front, I like having my own thing that I can be good at. And he did do a Spartan race with me, so there’s that!

Reply

I love the burn of Monday workouts too! But tuesdays are my most stressful day of the week, so a good sweat session after that long day feels amazing!

Reply

Egg nog is usually not really my thing. I’m just not that into it…

Reply

Love eggnog but I dilute it with milk. Friday night is my husband and my swim team night/date night-it’s the best! I love exercising with my husband, he recently started running which is fun but also hard because he’s ridiculously awesome at it, so I’m a bit envious!

Reply

Egg nog schmeg nog. Ick. The number of things I would rather eat are limitless.
That being said…the Zachary’s brand of flavored candy corn is sinful! I’ve tried the following flavors and found that it is best not to have it anywhere near me: blackberry cobbler, caramel apple, creme brûlée, pumpkin spice, tangerine…oh yeah…and the Easter corn in pastel colors. Mmmmm

I know this is corny (not candy corny, but corny)…Everyday is my favorite day to workout! I am thankful everyday to run, cycle or take a hot vinyasa class.

My husband is a previous runner/gym rat/aikido practitioner…but for the past year he’s only been working, not working out. He loves to tell me I work out too much, so I tell him I have to make up for his lack of exercise.

Reply

My husband did gymnastics for 20+ years of his life so he’s taking some (deserved) time off… even if it has been six years. :)

Reply

don’t pluck out the grays…just highlight/color. Is that the same coat you bought Brooke when she was a baby?

Reply

Have never tried egg no but the thought of it makes me wanna gag! I also love working out on Mondays. Best way to start the week. My husband used to be into running. He is actually pretty fast but hasn’t really ran in awhile. I am slowly going to get him back in it. Signed him up for a 5k next month. :)

Reply

Would rather eat dirt!
Significant other is not too into running but is somewhat athletic.
I love working out on Mondays too! Starts the week off right.

Reply

LOVE eggnog! Mom used to make homemade eggnog every Christmas. Now my daughter and I savor it every year!
My favorite day of the week is the one that I’m most stressed. For some reason those workouts feel the best!
My husband just recently started running and will join me on short distances. He tells me he’s not ‘crazy’ enough to pay to run a race just yet though! :)

Reply

One sip of egg nog is all I need/want.

Favorite run: Easy six mile Monday mornings with my friend because it’s our only time to catch up.

My husband encouraged me to move from “exerciser” to “runner” last year. He runs way faster than me but he has helped me overcome so many mental hurdles relating to running and coaches me in a non-pushy fun loving way. It’s the best to have someone who is not just supportive of your need to run but totally gets it on all levels.

Reply

Dirt over eggnog any day.

Loved my Saturday morning runs, all the endorphins from the biggest workout of the week and knowing that I am done for the weekend.

Second time in a week I have coveted Brooke’s clothes. Her Patagonia coat is awesome, they make great stuff. Hope her teeth feel better.

Reply

I’m a bigger runner, but my husband is super into working out, and he comes to my Toning and Body Power classes from time to time.

I hate egg nog! Yuck!

Reply

I used to like egg nog, but then I went vegan and now the thought of it makes me gag!

My hubby and I love to run together whenever we can…which unfortunately isn’t very often!

Reply

I’m not big on actual egg-nog, but I like egg-nog ice cream. It’s pretty good.

Saturdays are my favorite workout day, because that’s the day I run with my running group.

My boyfriend has terrible knees, so he can’t run without serious pain. He does a lot of high intensity interval training and he skis during the winter though.

Reply

No thank you, I would rather eat dirt, egg nog is the pits. I don’t understand why people like it?

Also now I would like a brownie sandwich, please and thank you.

Reply

I do not like eggnog candies, and I can only handle like one sip of normal egg nog. My hubby lifts, but I try to motivate him to do more cardio hehe. I love working out on Mondays because I feel so motivated most of the time :) Love the picture your mom sent you, and there is definitely a lot of truth to it.

Reply

Egg nog candy corn sounds so disgusting! Ewww! The only Egg Nog I will drink is Silk brand. It’s the best!!

Monday’s are my favorite running day too. I always feel rested and ready to go!!

Reply

I am not a fan of eggnog, at all.
I love long runs on Saturday when I don’t have to worry about finishing by a certain time.
My husband loves to run as much as I do. In fact, together we have a goal to run a road race in every state. We are having a blast working on this quest! We run our races together and have run in 18 states so far!

Reply

Saturday workouts are my favorite! I don’t have to work so I can go later and spend longer!

My husband goes in spurts as to whether he is active or not. I wish he was always active – I’d love to have someone to run and bike with all the time.

Reply

Don’t take out the grey hair, just color them. A friend of mine lost a lot of hair this way

Reply

Ha, the thought of my significant other working out is funny… but it works for me because if he’s not running the races he can come cheer for me running them instead! I’ve never had eggnog, maybe this year I should finally give it a shot.

Reply

Ehhhh I’m not so big on eggnog. There’s something called boiled custard (I think that’s what it’s called), that’s a little better!

My husband and I both like being active, whether that’s hiking, running, or lifting weights. However, the time of day we like to work out is different. He’s more of an after-work gym person, and I like going in the early morning.

Reply

I find greys alll the time and I’m only 24…not looking good for me haha. My fiancé is a coach at my gym so it makes working out that much more fun!

Reply

No, Egg Nog. Yuck!

My boyfriend is into eating and running to where ever the food it. Lucky for him, his metabolism is decent and hardly gains weight.

Reply

Im not an eggnog lover…the starbucks lattes taste so weird too!

My other half is an even better runner than me….he is aiming for a 2.16 MARATHON next year!!!

Reply

I love eggnog, but i’m lactose intolerant…so I gotta settle for the almond milk nog…

The hubs was a runner in HS and college, and then took a 10yr break, but started up again about 3 mo ago, and runs every other day, and he’s been making so much improvement, and lost 20lbs! we even run together occasionally!

Reply

Hi!! You always look great even after all your “sweaty” workouts, just wondering what eye makeup you wear?? I can’t go to the gym without at least SOME makeup, i’d scare people, but i steer clear of eyeliners b/c they all seem to smudge – any suggestions to try? It looks like you have some on, looking great, even after your workout. Random, i know, but just wondering!! Thanks.

Reply

Yup, I would rather eat dirt. Ick!

I really love my Monday and Friday workouts. Monday I feel nice and fresh and Friday, I am prepping for the weekend!

It used to be the hubs who did the working out. Then 5 babies later, I knew I had to do something to get and stay in shape, so we kind switched. Now, we work out together probably 5 days/week.

I like eggnog in cookies, but that’s it. Last February, my dad asked for Egg Nog Cupcakes for his birthday, and thankfully there was “Easter” egg nog available at the store (marketing is a marvelous thing, isn’t it?), otherwise, I couldn’t have made them for him, without making homemade egg nog. I didn’t eat them, because, gross, but he seemed to enjoy them. :-)

Oh man I LOVE egg nog! Just in small doses :) And my husband is into running (I am not.) I am into CrossFit (he is not). We make it work :) At least we are both into being active! That counts for something, yeah?

Eggnog candy corn? Nope. Confession – I actually don’t like candy corn at all :/

Good guys = friends zone…so true! I’ve seen that before too and I totally believe most of us ladies have labeled many guys as just friends. Guilty!

I read this post right before bed and I had Janae/Brooke dreams, LOL! I had a dream I had lots of white hairs that needed to be pulled out. I also “met” Brooke and she knew who I was… and then you and I talked about your sponsored posted because I work in integrated marketing at ABC. So strange/funny.

Eggnog–ick! Hubby runs thank goodness. Otherwise we would never see each other! :)

Eggnog??? Seriously? Not a flipping chance! No way!
As for the hubs running?! haha!! I got him to do a fun run with me a couple months ago and got accused of trying to kill him. He lets me run and he rides his motorcycle. Fair trade in my books!

Dirt for sure. Eggnog is creepy.

My husband has zero interest in running, but he’s super supportive of my run time. We do lots of other activities together, like mountain biking, back country skiing, paddle boarding. I think he appreciates that running helps me keep up with him :)

Brooke is adorable in that jacket. I bought one for my nephew (born the same day as Brooke). They are so stinkin cute at this age, full of wonder (and a little attitude – hah!)

I enjoy eggnog, but candy corn — gross!! There’s something so plastic-y and waxy about it – the sugar just gunks up in your throat.

So no, definitely no to that candy corn (though for a different reason than most of your readers, it looks like!

Eggnog rocks my world. I am currently using a Philosophy Eggnog Body Wash that makes me never want to get out of the shower. And Starbucks Eggnog Lattes…I have died and gone to heaven. My husband does not work out…I wish he did. In my next life I am marrying a runner for sure. Good luck finding yours! :)

Brooke’s puffy Patagonia is bomb.

I lahhve eggnog. I almost squealed in Wegmans because I found coconut milk eggnog (I’m lactose intolerant) :) Saturday workouts always make me feel good! My boyfriend sadly isn’t into running :( He used to be really into biking though, so I’m hoping we can both get back into it.

I love that Mindy Project link! Thanks for sharing!

I get post workout hair horns too. I always think all my bangs are clipped back until I look in a mirror. Whoops. Maybe that will keep everyone away from me in the gym :)
