4 things that I just needed!

Oh Utah, we really love exploring you.

IMG 1108

My legs still feel like lead and so keeping up with these two was quite the struggle this morning but I do love finishing 13 miles by 7:08 in the morning.   I have learned over the year of running with other people that our bodies are all so different.  These girls can handle 70 mile weeks but my body just can’t at this point and that is a-okay.  We just have to be happy with where we are at and to work with what we have.  PS they also strength train a ton and have been marathoning for years which is a big reason they can pound out these high mileage weeks without getting injured.

IMG 1109

Nothing like a little snow on your roof in May.  When will it end?!?!

IMG 1110

Remember how I ate poppyseed bread at my friend’s house yesterday and then I couldn’t get it out of my brain all day long and finally I just had to make two loaves for myself late last night?

Turns out it was just the pre and post-run fuel that I needed this morning.

IMG 1101

4 other things that I just needed (not wanted, these were all needs) last night.

1.  Ghirardelli chocolate chips.  We drove to the store just to restock my supply.  Don’t even waste your time with any other brands of chocolate chips.

IMG 1084

2.  QUALITY and QUANTITY girl time.

IMG 1105

3.  2 lbs (seriously) of salad and the Mindy Project.   I signed up for Hulu Plus for one reason—>  to watch the first two seasons of The Mindy Project.  Sometimes my sister and I call each other just to talk about one of the episodes.

PS I am almost 3 weeks diet coke free.

IMG 1090

4.  A good laugh with the Brookers on my bed.

IMG 1100

Those 4 things (and the poppyseed bread) made last night pretty great.

What made last night pretty great for you?

Warm, cold, perfect temperatures where you are at?

To go along with above question, what state (or country:) are you in?

Reply

The weather really is kind of perfect down here right now, isn’t it?? Sooooo glad you had a good time here in SA! Pity we didn’t know about each other before your trip – would have been great to go for a run together!

Reply

Wow, Brooke looks SO much like you in that last picture!! I just love how happy she always seems :)

That bread looks awesome…I love lemon poppyseed stuff! (not sure if the bread is lemon, just sayin’ haha) They have Clif Kids bars now in a Lemon Cookie flavor and they are outstanding!!

Reply

And you just made my day by saying that Brooke and I look alike:) Thank you! I need to try those bars asap, that sounds amazing!

Reply

I LOVE the Lemon Cookie Flavor and so do my kids!!!

Reply

Isn’t it awesome?! I didn’t think I’d like it as much as iced oatmeal cookie but I like it even MORE! :-D

Reply

Last night my mom and I ordered sushi and watched Modern Family episodes together! It was still -4 degrees celsius yesterday for my run but the sun is shining and it is slowly getting warmer here in Alberta, Canada!

Reply

That sounds like an amazing night! AHHHH that is so so cold!

Reply

Ok Janae, you inspired me to start watching the Mindy Project and I CAN’T STOP! It is the funniest show I’ve seen in YEARS! I’m absolutely in love! My husband and I started season 1 on Hulu this past Sunday and we are almost caught up completely. It’s going to be sad when we actually do catch up.

We’ve had a very humid 80-90 degree week in Fort Worth, TX, and today we are getting rain, so it’s kinda gross. I’m jealous of that 50 degree weather! That’s my perfect running weather!

Reply

It makes me so happy that you are loving the show. I seriously think it might be the all-time funniest show ever. Once you catch up… just start them all over again.

Reply

I agree, Janae, that it might be the funniest show ever. Not to mention my favorite. And I watch them all at least twice. I’ve already rewatched the season 2 finale more than once because it was just that good. :)

Reply

Do you eat before you go out long runs that early?! E x

Reply

Not usually because I don’t have enough time but the bread was easy to grab as I walked out the door. Race day and speed days I always eat something though!

Reply

I am in Westminster, Maryland and the temps are in the 50-60 range :)….we are getting rain though. I just laugh because I will follow the weather and try to plan my runs around when it is not going to be raining and I have gotten poured on every time and then later in the day it is rain free (but according to the weather that was when it was supposed to rain more)! Anything even semi-warm feels awesome and if the sun is out it feels amazing!!! I am pretty sure my body was vitamin D deprived!
Seeing that bread is making me want to go make a loaf of banana bread!!! I think I would not make it on a diet without bread!

Reply

My body has been too:) GOOO MAKE BREAD and hopefully you won’t get rained on during your next run!

Reply

Last night my neighbor Jayde, who is 11, came over and we went for a run/walk. She is just now expressing an interest in running and she came to ME for help and that makes my heart soooooo happy!

I live in Sunny Florida and yeah, it’s near 90 already. Couple that with some fine humidity and let’s just say we drink a crap ton of water! :)

Brooke is adorable.

Reply

That is so so exciting about Jayde! ALMOST 90!?!?! AHHHHHHHHHH

Reply

Hi! My niece is 10 and she just started running through a Fit Girls program at school. She said “Auntie, I’m following in your footsteps!” Oh my goodness. Tears came to my eyes :) Now when I go over on Thursday nights, we go for a 5K run/walk together. Have fun with your neighbor!

Reply

Awe Amanda, I love hearing that.

Reply

I had a rare night home alone. So I watched Little Women and read Runners World. Very nice night.

I live in SoCal. Its hot then cool. Also been windy. I’m with Janae, I hate running in wind. Today 65 and overcast…running weather!

Reply

Eating a chocolate and caramel covered apple last night made me happy!

I’m in Californoa, our temps have been in low-mid 70’s for now. Which I love. I think it’s supposed to get back to 90 on Monday…..yuck!

Mmmm….that poppyseed bread looks so good!

Reply

Oh my GOD I eat chocolate chips instead of chocolate bars. One at a time to satisfy the craving and a lot less calories. Let’s face it – I have control problems. SO I’d eat the whole bar instead of what I needed (yes, needed). Looks like brookers was down with the store run!

Reply

I had an amazing, spectacular, feel-like-I’m-flying type of run last night that made me super happy. In fact, just the memory of that run is making me smile this morning!

The Mindy Project is the best! I had an event on Tuesday night and wasn’t able to watch the season finale, so I’ve been avoiding spoilers like crazy. I can’t wait to catch up on it this weekend!

Reply

Seriously, going to bed at 9:30 made my day! I was sooo tired.

I’m in Oregon! We’ve had 65 degrees of late, which is my ideal, but woke up to grey skies today. Wah.

Reply

That bread looks yummy!!

We’re at perfect temperatures right now 60-70 degrees. Just right!

Reply

That picture of Brooke on the counter is so adorable. Well, they always all are. But I just especially loved that one. She can just brighten anyone’s day.

I truly love The Mindy Project. Even if I don’t really like how this season ended (I won’t say in case you haven’t seen it) but I think I am one of the few who is not on board, so it must just be me. I have been watching that show from the beginning and have converted many. It is just an easy laugh. Though sometimes I get tired of the ‘fat jokes’. And clearly I can talk, or write, too much about this show and I need to get a life.

Last night was dinner at Chipotle with my family and then a trip to the temple, sooo pretty dang fabulous if you ask me. Too bad I stayed up until 12:30 with Ross and I am already tired at 8am. No bueno. Why do I make terrible decisions like that repeatedly?

Reply

I am definitely going to make that bread. Anything lemon poppyseed and I’m in.

Those pictures of Brooke are some of the cutest yet.

Last night was great because of reasons I can’t yet disclose. The weather is FINALLY starting to get warmer up here in Boston and I really hope it stays that way.

Reply

We went for a walk last night and ended up extending it an extra mile to hit the FroYo show. Best game time decision ever.

I’m in Pittsburgh where it’s going to be 84 today! It’s an anomaly though…we’ll be back to mid 60’s soon enough :)

Reply

Two things: I love lemon poppyseed bread. It is my favorite. And secondly, ghiradelli chocolate chips are good, but you have to try the guittard brand milk chocolate chips. They are better than anything I have ever tried. I consider myself a connoisseur of chocolate chips, so you can trust me on this one.

Reply

Last night was awesome. I got to spend it at my parents. What started as just another night at my parents playing corn hole turned into a block party. Neighbors were coming over left and right to come join us in our shenanigans.

I live in Texas. Austin, TX. I love it here. But the weather is already starting to get so hot for running.

Reply

I cannot believe you guys have snow. UGH, seriously when will this winter end. It’s pouring rain and 70ish here. The humidity is something awful.

I forgot if I said last post but lemon poppyseed bread is one of my favorite (nonchocolate) desserts.

Reply

I about 1/2 hour away from you!
I’ve never seen the mindy project! But I recently read her book and some parts literally had me lol’ing. When I usually say lol I didn’t really, but I’m serious here!

Reply

I am in Northern Virginia, almost in DC. It is supposed to be in the 80s today- crazy!

Last night we were watching tv and my daughter wanted to snuggle, she’s 9, so I take what I can get! I loved it until she had to give Daddy his turn! :)

Have you tried Hershey’s dark chocolate chips? They are my favorite! Eat a handful with peanuts or almonds and it is heaven.

And now I want poppy seed bread and a big salad to help me recover from the 10 miles I just ran!

Reply

13 Miles completed before 7am?! You girls are definitely motivated! I bet you get to witness some pretty cool sunrises.

I live in Oregon and we have been back and forth between 50s and raining and 80s and sunny. Definitely a little bipolar during this time of year. :) Last night my husband gave me a nice massage and we got caught up on life, which was really nice. I am at home with pneumonia right now, so things are a little on hold for the next couple of days.

Reply

That first picture is soo cool! Also I can’t believe you have snow right now! Last night my night was great because I was able to finish up a DIY project and watch Modern Family! It is 84 today in Ohio!

Reply

Last night I attended the LAST band concert for my daughter (my youngest) who graduates from HS in two weeks. After eight years of concerts, it was a bittersweet moment. I had been off soda (diet coke is my weakness) for two months and this week I decided to quit quitting for awhile. Sometimes you just need it. Big changes in my life and May is just a whirlwind so Diet Coke will get me through. Then I’ll probably quit again…

Reply

Girl…. You drink that diet coke. I completely understand… It got me through many rough months!

Reply

My oldest graduates from high school next weekend. Let’s just say there has been an excessive amount of sugary treats consumed recently!!!

Reply

That bread looks so good!

I’m just about 40 mins north of you in SLC. Last night I finished off the last of my homemade carrot cake (+ lots of frosting) and got some pretty awesome routes in at the local climbing gym.

Reply

Last night (and all this week) has been great because I am finished with PA school and just waiting for graduation! It’s so nice to finally have some free time/not have to be studying 24-7!

It’s raining in NJ today – but I’m taking this month off running to focus on strength training/classes at the gym until I start Marine Corps Marathon training in June! I need the mental break from running to get me excited to train again before a marathon, otherwise I burn out halfway through.

Reply

Brooke is absolutely the cutest!!! and that bread looks amazeballs!!

Reply

I like how a half-marathon is nothing to you. Crazy Girl!

Reply

I can’t have a bag of those chocolate chips in my house unless they are immediately being used to bake cookies. They are truly the BEST! People ask for my cookie recipe all the time – the only thing I do differently is buy the Ghiradelli chips! :)

Reply

I swear I looked for season 1 of The Mindy Project on Hulu Plus and couldn’t find it. I know what I’m doing this weekend! Thanks!

Reply

I love the mindy project too!!!! Last night I went to arizonas high school state track meet. It’s super fun to watch people run!! The weather has been a bit cooler here in Arizona for the past few days but that will change today… Back to the 90+ Weather!

Reply

I am in New York where it is currently raining but I will take it over snow! We are slowly starting to feel like spring and I do believe the forecast calls for high 70’s this weekend!

Reply

cannot believe you are still dealing with snow! i live in portland, oregon so we get lots of rain but at least not snow! just got back from palm springs, CA last week and it was glorious-you may need to add that to your list so you can get some appropriate sun!

last night was pretty great because i got some clarity on the book i’m writing!

Reply

Hmm the summer running clothes post jinxed ya with that snowy roof =)

Last night I got to see my friend and catch up after missing each other for a few weeks. He gave me a good hug before I left and it made me feel so my better. Hugs are the best.

I enjoy50s-60s temps. I’ll tolerate 70s but 80s and above is TOO HOT! And 40s and below is ok for short periods but by winter’s end i hate being cold.

I’m in New York City =)

Reply

Last night I brought my Girlie to Kid’s Kamp at my trainer’s new facility and she loved it! We ran by the kids a few times and she always yelled out “Hi Mom” or ran over for a smooch. Totally made my night!

Reply

Today it is supposed to be 80 in Cleveland!! On the radio this morning the weatherman said it hadn’t been over 80 in 7 months! It feels glorious.

Reply

I got more than 4 hrs of sleep last night. That was great!

We will be back in our house tomorrow night. The floor will be walkable, but still no kitchen. I think the people at McDs are tired of my face.

Running in WA state. Mid 70s.

Love Brooke’s smile. So sweet.

Reply

Live in Phoenix Arizona and it hit 100 last weekend. Of course my a/c went out too. It’s gone out four times and my house is brand new. I had a house for 10 yrs before this one and never a single problem. I agree with you that being done with a run by 7 am is the best feeling! I also agree on the ghiradeli chocolates. That’s all I bake with!

Reply

Didn’t you just post about summer clothes, and now you have snow again? :) I am in GA and it is HOTT. I’m actually scared of what our true summer is going to be like.

Reply

Wow, there’s still snow in May?! How crazy! I think it’s been around 60 degrees here in Seattle.

I agree with you about girl time! It’s so important!

Reply

I’m in NYC. It’s rainy today but it’s been pretty nice and mild out lately.

Last was awesome because I got out of work at close to ten pm, but still went to the gym. I was like, “Who is this person? Where is the couch?”

Reply

I am super impressed you’re 3 weeks dc free, I hope I can also wean myself off. I only had 1 this work week so far.

I don’t usually comment, but I read your blog all the time and love it! You motivated me to sign up for my first marathon which I ran with my mom this weekend :)

Reply

Canada (Saskatchewan). Right now it’s 45F (but we’re getting snow on Monday/Tuesday). Running here is interesting, since it requires spikes during the winter. I ran a half marathon in March, and the temp was +1F.

BTW: seriously…. good work being diet coke-free. That’s not easy at all. I managed to rid it from my diet back in 2012. Keep it up!

Reply

Those aren’t the semi-sweet…I know my Ghirardelli chip bags! But I can’t quite make out the actual color. What flavor did you get?

What made last night great was my timed mile at the track. Even though it was foolish to try a timed anything at this juncture, my competitive self is feeling so underutilized.

Today is chilly. Yeah…it’s dropped all the way down to 61!

Reply

Last night was awesome because I got to cuddle with my nearly 2 year old and he was just so affectionate. It’s hard to get him to stay still for long so when he wants to hug, I’ll take it all in.
I also got to hang out with my awesome sister-in-law (I don’t get to see her nearly enough) and incredible husband and enjoy a ginormous bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with lots of parm cheese on top. Yes, it was a great night!

Reply

I’m in Utah! Salt Lake :) YES– where is our nice weather?! Last Saturday was so glorious. Brooke is just the cute cute cutest! Good job making her look adorable on the daily. And I must know where that salad is from. I need it in my life, stat.

Reply

what marathon training books or resources do you recommend???

things that touch on staying injury free (I just got done reading the article from your blog)
and nutrition? ect

thanks so much!

Reply

That poppyseed bread looks delicious!

Right now we are having the perfect weather — sunny & warm, but with a cool breeze. My favourite! :)

Reply

::shame:: I’ve never seen The Mindy Project. I’M SORRY. I’ll try and arrange a viewing this weekend because I love her.

It is cold and raining here in Colorado and I love that weather. I ran this morning and this is the first time in probably a year I’ve had the energy and felt well enough to do it. It felt awesome. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Loving the picture of Brooke on the counter. Pure sweetness. Like the chips.

Reply

You have snow in MAY?????!!!!???
It’s in the 90’s where I live, and I’ve been swimming every day for the past 3 weeks! :)

Reply

Last night was the best because my husband and I stuffed ourselves with Ethiopian food to celebrate finding out that we are having a BOY!

It’s perfect here – high today is 78. I’m in Baltimore, MD.

Reply

My girls running around naked after bath makes every night pretty great! I live on the central coast in California (Arroyo Grande), so in incredibly spoiled with weather – roughly 70 degrees year round :)
I also love the mindy project! She’s just so funny! Although I’m always behind on episodes, somehow the kids or the hubs always get control of the remote… gotta work on that.
Snow in May?????? That’s just wrong…

Reply

I share the live for Ghiradelli dark Choc chips. Those with some almond butter made my night perfect.

I’m in Arkansas and the weather has been perfect. Shorts and tank running all week. P.S. You are not good for my wallet. I order the brooks shorts and tank you posted yesterday. And I’m kinda stoked TBH:)

Reply

Rainy day here in northern NJ put me on the treadmill this morning which I haven’t done in months! not a bad thing to mix it up a little though. So true about everyone’s bodies handling training differently. I think years of experience definitely plays into it as well as muscular strength, as you said with your friends.

Reply

I ate french fries and a biscuit for lunch yesterday. And I definitely did not need that!

Reply

mmm dark chocolate chips are the best :)

seriously, brooke’s smile is just the cutest. it makes me smile! hope you have a great day, janae :)

Reply

Going to bed at 9:15 last night made my night awesome. Man I needed that! I woke up naturally at 6:08AM ready to run :)

The temps here are a little chilly for me, upper 40s still! Should warm up over the weekend though.

Currently I’m in LUXEMBOURG, where I’ve been for 4 months :) I’ll be returning to my home in Ohio next week though!

Reply

I live in SoCal and it has been sunny and windy lately. It’s gonna get HOT next week! Fire weather. :(

Having a dance party with my 2 year old made last night great!

Reply

Ghirardelli chocolate chips are most definitely the best! Anything made with “other” chocolate chips just doesn’t taste right after I’ve spoiled myself with the good ones :-)

Reply

Tickling my little guy and hearing his infectious giggle!

I’m in Alberta, Canada :)

Reply

Last night I went on a long stroll while I had an hour long conversation with a friend, and it was awesome catching up. I really want to go back and watch all of the Mindy Project again- so funny. Congrats on being diet coke free.

Reply

Guittard choc chips. Superior and delicious. I mean, I’m not opposed to handfuls of Ghiradelli chocolate chips at all but you should try the Guittard. Just… so creamy.

Reply

It’s been pretty beautiful in Boston lately! 50s and 60s and sunny. I love it so so much.

Reply

Favorite thing about last night was I made something new for dinner. It was penne with tomatoes, spinach and feta. It had a 75% approval rating with the family. I live in Iowa. Last week was 50’s and raining, yesterday was 90 and humid. The weather has been crazy, but that’s normal. Oh, and I love lemon poppy seed too but almond poppy seed is even better imho!

Reply

I am going to make that bread! Looks wonderful.
I am in Colorado and we had a thunder/lightening storm last night which I loved because we don’t get much rain. Best part of the evening was finalizing our weekend plans–which will include dinner and an indoor/arena football game on Saturday & a movie on Sunday! Now just have to wait for the weekend to get here….

Reply

That poppy seed bread looks AH-Mazing!

Last night was special because I got to see my BFF after not hanging with her for 3 whole weeks! We went for a long walk. It was just what I needed.

Reply

I just found your blog and love it! I’ve been running for a couple of years but haven’t gotten any faster and I’ve struggled losing weight. Some days can be pretty frustrating but I do enjoy running. Thanks for being such an example to me!

Reply

I live in the land down under – Australia and winter us on its way. I live in a cold part near mountains but I have to say your mountains are gorgeous, I just love seeing those pics!

Haven’t been a great runner in the really winters months but you have totally inspired me. I am determined this winter.

Love that poppyseed bread, please share the recipe it looks fantastic :)

Found the recipe link from yesterday!

The weather here is perfect right now! It’s been in the mid-50’s and SUNNY all week which I love! Also, the sun is starting to rise earlier and earlier which is something that I’ve missed about New England – the sun is up before 5:30! :)

Reply

Going home to my Mom and Dad’s house and eating dinner with them and my sister! Also seeing my cute little puppies that I miss so much.

The temperatures have been pretty nice recently…but today it is raining! Can’t wait for the sun to come back out again. I live in new jersey!

Reply

Last night was great because the fish I cooked actually turned out good, and I finally went to bed at a decent hour!
I’m in Maui. It’s sunny and about 78 degrees. Sorry!:)

Reply

Thanks for talking about how our bodies can handle different weekly mileage totals. I’ve only been running consistently for about 2 years and sometimes I get down on myself that I can’t handle the mileage some of my running buddies can handle. It also gives me hope that I can get there eventually!

Reply

the sun is finally up early on and i am BACK to morning running and it makes my heart SO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!! today its getting up to 70 and i LOVE that ( i am a warm weather girl!)

That bread looks just amazing and for real, anything with glaze=happy me. I don’t eat before i head out to run and sometimes my body is like “yeah, ok, dude cut it out you can’t push it right now weirdo you need to eat!”

Last night was pretty great bc it was NEW GIRL and i looove that show….i haven’t started Mindy Project yet bc i just havent had time..but come summertime….ITS ON!! :)

We are in rainy old London, UK
Suppose you get used to the weather- did 8miles this morning in pouring rain and was soaked :(

Reply

I’m from Canada…and until today it has really felt as though we were still stuck in winter. But this morning I ran outside…get this…WITHOUT mitts on!! It was amazing!! LOL!!

As for your snow…that is just not right. Not if we don’t have it! LOL!!

Reply

Last evening my housemates and I all studied together in the living room, doesn’t sound fun but it was a laugh and it was nice to spend some quality time together and get some productive work done.

Perfect temperature for running is slightly chilly or mild with some light drizzle in the final couple of miles… Bliss

And I’m in the UK! Normally London based but currently at university in York.

Reply

I’m in Iowa where we are on the brink of thunderstorms. Last night was made perfect by a yoga for athletes class, which is the first thing that made my IT band sing since Sunday’s marathon. Also, a loaf of fresh whole wheat cherry walnut bread.

Reply

It’s hottttttt here in Florida. I think we skipped spring and went straight to summer:( last night was great because I had an epic workout with a friend. Nothing beats the combo of girl time plus burning all the calorie!

Reply

We FINALLY got our first HOT day here in Michigan!!! After about 200 inches of snow this winter- it’s about time!!!! Love running in shorts and a sports bra- there’s nothing better!

Reply

Georgia is hot! But perfect temperatures early in the morning, otherwise it’ll climb from 70 to 80 in ten minutes after 9AM.

Reply

We are just starting to get spring weather in Saskatchewan, Canada…snow is gone but still have to wear a light jacket. It’s supposed to be 20 Celsius tomorrow…can’t wait! Did you get a wicked caffeine withdrawal headache? Whenever I give up caffeinated pop, I get a terrible headache for a week that no pain relievers put a dent in.

Reply

Love poppyseed everything. Salad dressing, everything bagels, lemon poppyseed muffins…Yum. I think I would devour that bread! In Arizona, it’s been perfect the past few days, but we’re going straight back up in the next couple of days.

Reply

Brookers gets more adorable by the minute. That picture with the chocolate chips is definitely frame worthy!
Great job listening to your body and taking your time to recoup after your 1/2!

Reply

I used the same fuel this morning, and nailed my tempo run! A hint on that bread…use muffin tins (I just spray them with Pam for baking) adjust your bake time (about 25-30 min). Make double the glaze recipe, then dunk the muffins in it. Heaven.

Reply

I actually got to bed on time last night, which was pretty great! It’s amazing how much better I feel after a decent night’s sleep!

I’m in New York, I like the crazy spring weather we’re having, sun, rain, wind, you name it!

Reply

Im in Maryland and today was the first really warm day here! It got to 80 degrees. I am sooo ready for these warmer temps to stick around!

Reply

I had breadsticks and salad at Olive Garden last night. Enough said.
It’s been in the 70’s and 80’s this week – pretty perfect :) In So Cali. You’re jealous now, but not in July when it’s in the triple digits.

Reply

Last night was awesome because I went out for sushi, which was the perfect treat after a lunchtime 5k :)
Currently in Pennsylvania where it’s barely 60 degrees. No more snow for us though! Is it summer yet?!

Reply

My husband introduced me to “How I Met Your Mother”. We watched a couple episodes last night – so fun!

Reply

Last night was great because I got to sleep early enough so when my alarm went off at 4:30 am to run I did not hit the snooze! I was done with my run by 6! Love that feeling :) I’m just around the point of the mountain from you in Sandy/Draper.

Reply

Yum that bread looks good! We had a crazy storm with tons of lightening last night bit today was 80 in Michigan! I now have a tan thank goodness

Last night my son and I surprised my mom by making the trip from Dallas to their little town in Minnesota. She had no idea and was floored when we walking in around 10pm! It was great!!

I also love G’s chocolate chips. They are worth making the extra trip to the store. I have been known to eat a bag in about 36 hours and now I want some!

Where I came from (TX) it is getting so hot and humid already. The cool 60s of MN are feelin fine!! I had an awesome run tonight and plan on getting at least 2 more in before I have to go back to the sauna.

I was just writing about how Spring seemed to get skipped here in DC, that we went straight from winter to summer…but now I feel bad after seeing the snow on your roof! Hope it gets warmer and summer like where you are!

What a great run you had this morning. Those ladies you run amaze me so much! Would love to hear about there training plans : )

Last night was pretty fabu bc the weather was amazing! I got a nice light 6 mile run in and I had sushi for dinner….ALL GOOD THINGS

Yesterday, here in upstate NY , the temp was a fabulous at 74, today its rainy and way less fab:( I’d be thrilled with 75 no wind until the end of this month.. I won’t complain though bc it’s better than that grost white stuff

It’s rainy, but kind of warm here in Connecticut.

Last night was great because I got bored of watching TV, so I started re-reading Harry Potter.

60s and misty now, going to be warm and humid later – southern Maryland.

Now that you have Hulu Plus, you HAVE to watch Moone Boy!!! It’s so silly, I think you’d love it.
