-Still getting the legs scraped and sport massages every 1-2 weeks. Gotta stay on top of things. Added bonus is that I get to talk to Josse for an hour straight while she tortures my legs.
-And yet again, another guilty face for ya.
-Just getting her morning reading in.
-I feel as though these leggings were actually made with me in mind. Must acquire.
-I had the absolute best spaghetti of my entire life on Monday night. I don’t know how it was so good but it was the real deal. I will dream of this plate of goodness for a long time.
-Brooke and I went and got froyo last night to celebrate the fact that it was Wednesday. I think we will celebrate ever Wednesday this way.
-Yep.

-This was the scene in our kitchen yesterday. Apparently nobody in my family likes to eat fortune cookies but they just couldn’t resist finding out what their fortune was.

I just found out I’m moving home for a bit so of course the first thing I did was sign up for 2 races :) best part…my husband (who has not once in 9 years of being together run with me) said he wants to run with me when we get home! He’s excited to be back near pretty trails instead of in the city. We weren’t expecting the news but at least there are some positives!

I love spaghetti. When I watched Eat, Pray, Love I could practically taste the amazing spaghetti when they showed her eating in Italy. I used to live there and their pasta is more amazing than words.

Love the leggings, but not sure if I would actually wear them. I made a smoothie today but I used a mixed green of arugula and spinach and I can taste the bitterness of the arugula, love it in a salad but not in a smoothie.

I am 30 weeks with twins (boy and girl!) and my sciatic is KILLING me. I got off the elliptical at the gym last night and thought I wasn’t going to be able to walk out of the place on my own. It didn’t start hurting until after I did a stretch–it felt totally fine on the machine! bummer. No more stretching afterwards, I guess.
I wanted to celebrate Wednesday with FroYo last night but it’s super cold out (not that that’s an excuse) and I have an awesome double chocolate cake from my baby shower to get through. Maybe next Wednesday… :)

Congrats on still being able to work out. When I was pregnant with my twin boys I could hardly make it through my day of teaching. Then I would go home, lay on my couch and only move to go to the bathroom.
My sciatic nerve bothered me too. I went to a chiropractor and it helped a lot. Best of luck!

My random running information today is that I completed my first ever real treadmill run yesterday! I’m training for the Nike Women’s half marathon in April and finally got so tired of freezing. I found a Groupon for a gym and moved my running inside!

Something random: Yesterday at the grocery store I went to grab a head of romaine lettuce, I had to wait my turn as the lady in front of me picked up every single head of lettuce and examined them before picking the perfect one. During cold season especially, this really grossed me out. I took home my head of disease laden lettuce and pretended like the water washed away all the germs and fed it to my family.

Hey! Ravenna is the shoe I always wear and I LOVED the 3s, really liked the 4s (not quite as much as the 3s) and am curious how the 5s are. I feel like we usually go for similar shoes (Revanna + Purflows) so I’d really love to hear what you think about them/how they compare to previous ones.
And my something random: I needed to get a hotel receipt sent to me for work and the hotel said they could only fax it, so I spent the morning running around my office looking for a working fax machine and I told someone (pun unintentional, I swear!) that I was on a Fax Finding Mission. :-)

So I have been on a HUGE hunt for those birthday cake M&Ms. I live in southwest Louisiana and have searched all around here and had my in laws on the hunt too. Went for my first run since December! I admit I’m one of those fair weather runners but got out there and it felt great. Well….it felt terrible since it felt like learning to run again, but endorphin kick and a little mini pat on the back for getting back out there again.

First, I have to tell you about an awesome spaghetti (well, angel hair dinner) I made the other night. Super healthy! I found a frozen mix of yellow squash and zucchini at Wal-Mart (how cool is that? I buy the fresh ones but sometimes don’t eat them in time) and added them to marinara sauce and shrimp and put them it all over angel hair pasta. Yum!
So, when it comes to cool running stuff, I found this link to Nike’s site yesterday where you can customize your own shoes! The colors and all sorts of stuff. How cool is that? It’s not every model but quite a few. I’ve never worn Nikes for running (I’m a Brooks and Mizuno gal) but I think I’ll have to check out these models at a store and see how they feel. If they work out, they will be my gift to myself when I hit my weight loss goal. Only 28 more lbs to go and I’ll have lost 144 lbs. Whoo hoo!

Would you be willing to make a shoe recommendation? I have worn Ravennas for the longest time, but I HATE the 4s. They literally hurt my feet when I run. There are no running shops in my area so I can’t test shoes before I buy them and Brooks customer service was a little less than helpful. I’m not mad at them, though :)
Anyway, can you recommend another shoe you like? I run long, I’m NOT fast (your speed amazes me!) and my feet need just a bit more than neutral support.
