I thought I would start your Monday morning off right by showing you the most adorable picture in the world.
1. A reader sent me a picture of her cutest puppy in the whole wide world after I mentioned that golden retriever puppies are my favorite puppies. Brooke and I seriously NEEEEEDDDDDD a puppy.
Last night we headed on up to dinner at my aunt’s house. PS Remember the shoes that Brooke has tried to lose a million times…. she finally did. She lost those cute little white sandals on the airplane last week so I am on the hunt for a new pair of sandals for her (preferably a pair of jelly sandals…. please tell me that you had those as a kid).
My aunt brought out a puppet book for Brooke first thing when we got there and Brooke was thrilled.
I was thrilled when the plate of salmon, chicken, vegetables and salad was sitting in front of me.
And since they always have a selection of Ben & Jerry’s in their freezer I had to at least try each flavor with my cake.
And on a random note… have you ever tried the ‘make your own peanut butter’ at Whole Foods? Do it. You will want to hug me for telling you this.

I want a Golden Retriver too! I always want to steal my brothers when I go home for a visit. Ooh that Ben & Jerry’s s’mores looks awesome! Chocolate and marshmallows are my favorite! I’ve never made my own peanut butter and I use jiff. I’ve tried all natural peanut butter but its not tasty in my opinion.

Go target.com and you can print off a $5 off coupon on kids shoes. I paid $3 for my little guys sandals. I don’t care what he wears right now since he’s not walking yet. Did you like the cannoli ice cream? I tried it and I love cannoli but I didn’t care for the ice cream. Tasted a bit off.

I agree that you need a puppy, especially one that looks like that. I didn’t have the day off today because I’m studying abroad in New Zealand, but I took it off anyway and we jumped in the ocean and went wine tasting, so I definitely still celebrated :) Hope you had a great long weekend!

I have an allergic reaction to many kinds of peanut butter, but not to organic PB so that’s what I have. My (unprovable) theory is that it is the pesticides I’m reacting to.

My grocery store has a make your own nut butter section too-yummy! I’ve been on call this weekend and today-yuckers. Of course it’s been beautiful here. I don’t care for cats-dogs RULE! ;)

Can you make your own almond butter there? We are a peanut free house due to an allergy but we use soynut butter for school days and almond butter here. Almond butter is so pricey!

Just saw your comment and I thought I’d chime in. You can make your own almond butter at home – its crazy easy, cheaper and so so good (I like it way more than store bought)! Just throw a pound of almonds into an 11 or 12 cup food processor and let it whirl. Takes about 20 minutes, stopping it every couple minutes to scrape the sides, add a sprinkle of salt and it will become the creamiest, best almond butter. I make it and peanut butter every other week!

I have the day off so heading out for an easy 5/7 mile recovery run then golfing. Ran awesome 12 mile hill route yesterday afternoon.

That puppy is so cute! We make our own peanut butter. Just dump the dry-roasted peanuts in the food processor(we have a vitamix) and viola peanut butter! I like using honey roasted peanuts too. I am so a dog person but I like cats ok too just not as well.

Billy seems to have “grown up”!!!!!! He looks so professional all the time now and takes such great care of his girls! It’s so neat to see how you all have changed just over this last year! You can also make peanut butter in a vitamix with just peanuts….it is so good! I am going to try the whole foods version! YUM!

My favorite peanut butter is 365 brand with sea salt. It’s so amazing that I have an open jar in my fridge and three unopened in my pantry (the nearest whole foods is 30ish minutes away in a city I don’t go to very often, so I stock up when I do go).
I love both dogs and cats. We have three cats (Cadbury, Marshmallow, and Reese’s) but I’m slowly convincing my boyfriend that we also need a dog that can go running with me.

I like TJ’s peanut butter since there is nothing extra in there that I don’t want. I was just introduced to the Whole Foods make your own peanut butter. I haven’t bought it myself but one of the families I work for has it. That cake looks heavenly!

The co-op in my town has several nut butter grinders and my favorite option is the *HONEY-ROASTED* peanut butter! (My mouth just filled with saliva while typing this, a la Rachel and Chandler cheesecake style.) It is the best!

I used to be a peanut butter sucker with at least 5 different kinds in the cupboard at a given time. Now I’m just back to creamy Jif because it’s delicious and I don’t have cupboard space for 5 jars of peanut butter :). I’ve made my own before and while it was good, I think I rushed to eat it faster because I would be worried it would go bad.
I’m not working right now, so no. I’m 2 days away from my due date with my first though!
I’m definitely more of a cat person. I think most dogs are super cute and love the idea of having one to run with, but they’re so messy – all the fur/slobber/neediness outweighs the cuteness and potential running partner if I’m being practical. My cat is cute and very low maintenance :).

My mom laughed at me for thinking that I was having fun, but I most definitely was ;) I buy Natural Jif peanut butter at the grocery store, but I’m still looking for a natural peanut butter that does not have palm oil in it… If anyone has any suggestions, that would be amazing.
