Have I told you about how Brooke growls at me now?
She is extremely fascinated by my keys. She would give away every toy that she owns to just play with my keys for five minutes. She sings really loud while playing with them.
Sometimes I have to take them away from her in order to drive somewhere and girlfriend full on growls at me when I take them away from her. I laugh so hard every time and so her growls eventually turn into giggling with me. I hope she never stops doing this.

I taught a fun spin class this morning and came home and did this circuit workout followed by my runner’s core dvd. We ran some errands once Brooke woke up… one of them being to go pick up her shoe at a friend’s house. This girl of mine is desperately trying to get rid of these shoes but I will not let her.
My meals were boring toast for breakfast and a turkey/mozarella panini so instead I will show you a picture of our dinner last night.
Vegetable tostadas: Corn tortilla, refried black beans, grilled veggies, cheese, guac and sour cream.
Tonight we are going out to celebrate our anniversary (even though our anniversary is really on Sunday). I was looking up what the 4 year anniversary gifts should be:
Um… how about we all vote to change fruit/flowers/appliances to something off my 500 item wish list from J Crew. The beauty of Billy reading my blog… I have a way to *hint* at what I want.

That corn tostada looks so good! We just had breakfast for dinner! I love JCrew but can’t seem to bring myself to buy anything that isn’t on it’s last chance clearance ;) If I had my choice though, I’d totally go on a shopping spree there! My running anniversary goes way back. Like middle school years. We’ve been on and off for the last few years, but this time we’re back together for good haha!

That looks delicious. I ate too many snacks before my run yesterday so I felt horribly sick during and after so my dinner consisted of nuun and ginger chews. Basically I failed at refueling

Bungee started doing this weird groaning growling thing when we move her from the couch or bed. I think it’s hilarious, so I crack up every time and apparently this is enough encouragement for her to do it all the time. Maybe babies are the same as dogs and Brooke will starting growling more often now.

I started running when I did girls on the run in 3rd grade but I didn’t really get into running until I was a junior in high school, so when I was 16. And I didn’t become a year round runner until sophomore year in college. I guess I don’t really have a real runiversary! I think we need a video of the growling :)

My running anniversary is coming up. It was about one week after I finished my freshman year of college (freshman 15 baby). So 11years ago!!
Last night I made sweet chili chicken with lime & coconut jasmine rice and an avocado and pineapple salsa. Yum! And asparagus.. cause I can’t get enough.

We do the UK traditional anniversary gifts (not sure why since we were both born here and never lived in the UK) and just celebrated 4 about 2 weeks ago. Traditional British gift for 4 years is linen — I think that can be interpreted to include something from J. Crew.

I got cut from the basketball team my junior year in HS ( I was sorta crushed…I LOVED bball and didn’t care if I played or not) …the coach told me in bball I would just sit the bench and he thought I had a talent for running and should be doing track instead…thus started my track/cross country career and I have been running since :)

Ahh! Michael Dunn (from the Kona video) is my boss! Well he is the General Manager at the television station I work for. We talk marathon training all the time :-). He is a great guy and his story IS incredible!

My running anniversary is July 2012, when I started the C25K program. I couldn’t run for one full minute without wanting to quit, and now I’m up to 11 miles for a long run!! Who knew!!!

YES to J.crew…even though it’s ‘spensive! 25% off all orders right now though, so you can use that to help justify a purchase! My husband and I were too tired to cook last night so we had chef’s choice for dinner. I had cereal, he had leftover mac n cheese. I think my running anniversary is August 1998! J Crew <3 Definitely the bane of my wallet's existence. I love it there and can almost never walk out without buying something. But I justify it by saying that their clothes are a good investment because they're high quality and will never go out of style :D And I'd growl if someone tried to take away my keys, too! How is fruit a gift!?! Unless someone gave me ALREADY cut up fresh watermelon..cantaloupe.. pineapples..mangos…basically all the fruit I am too lazy to cut up then I would want it.

I have old video of my daughter crawling a long way to get at a ring of keys. She ran her first half marathon last month, so I would suggest placing your keys far from your daughter to force her to expend great effort to reach them. Thus, when she’s older you’ll have trained her to become a runner, and thus will live a very healthy lifestyle.

I had recently ‘retired’ from competitive swimming due to a shoulder injury and wasn’t sure about this running thing. I clearly remember my first practice. Hot as heck in Georgia on an August afternoon, and the goal was to run for 30 minutes straight. My 15-year-old self never imagined I’d be running marathons some day!

I love J. Crew. I wear their pants and shorts for work :) I had velveeta shells and cheese with the kids last night. Wasn’t really hungry since I just got done with my run. I am never hungry after…. I love J. Crew but the closest one we have is at an outlet mall so I don’t get there very often. Chicken, green beans, part of a sweat potatoes and the rest of my daughter’s cheesy soup that she had to have until she tasted it. I started running early July of last year. I would have to say my running anniversary is may 2011, but I REALLY started getting serious in April 2012. Either of those dates count ;) Last night for dinner I had a veggie burger and a brownie sundae from the Plaza in Disney World. The burger was a little overcooked but the sundae was magical.

Had to say one: Happy Anniversary! And two: I’ve had more than one friend give their keys to their kiddos while strapping them in the car seat, walk around to the driver side and (click) their kiddo locked them out. I makes me giggle to think of these and of course, panic at the same time!
