It’s that time again….

My run this morning wasn’t so great at all so instead we are going to talk about way cooler things like picnics and eating Easter candy.

For lunch I met my bff from college at a park near her work for some lunch.  People here think I am crazy for being in summer clothes already.

I seriously love reminiscing with this friend about our crazy college days of calling our own snow days and staying home from class and watching The Hills all day or our crazy nights hanging out at 7-11 drinking slurpees.

Lunch that was packed in approximately 12 seconds.

On an extremely random note, I gave Brooke my phone to play with and when I took it back 2 minutes later this was on the screen:

She unlocked it, entered in the number for the text message and sent a picture of a house to #=$}]{#.8.  We have a baby genius on our hands Billy.

It’s that time of year again where we have a friendly debate about the absolute best Easter candy ever.

Your options are:

A.  Cadburry Mini Eggs

Cadbury

B.   Jelly Beans (starburst jelly beans included)

C.  Cadbury Creme Eggs  (or the Cadburry caramel filled egg)

Cadbury Mini Eggs without a question! I just can’t be left alone with a bag!

No contest needed, cadbury mini eggs all the way! Now i love chocolate and peanut butter, and the resses eggs are extra delicious because there is so much penut buuter and the chocolate is always so soft and melty, but really nothing can compare to those mini eggs. There’s nothing else quite like them and they’re only a spring time treat. I’ve been known to stock up on em this time of year…

D. Reese’s Eggs. All day, every day.

Definitely mini eggs! They are the best!

Absolutely no question…A. The eggs. I wait for them all year.

Only one time of year for PEEPS, PEEPS, PEEPS and all their fantastic awesomeness!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs with a side of Starbursts Jelly Beans for this girl. Glad I run so I can eat junk food.

For your ITB, are you watching your stride length and/or your steps per minute? Those are the two things that get mine every time.

Hands down…Cadbury Mini Eggs. I just bought myself a bag today and I like them cold out of the fridge. I also have a mini stock of Reeses Peanut Butter eggs and Snickers Peanut Butter eggs in the fridge as well. I am definitely a fan of the chocolate candy over the fruity ones. I’m sorry your run didn’t go well…I’ve been there too many times.

Have you tried Nerds Jelly Beans? They are addicting and they have become my favorite Easter candy. At least for this year.

Reese’s Eggs AND Peeps are my top. But everybody can’t pass up some good jelly beans.

Uhmm……… Mini Eggs or Sour Patch Bunnies, too hard to choose just one!

I love the reeses mini eggs.. because you take a few and enjoy them… then rationalize getting a few more because they are so tiny compared to the big egg :)

Sweet tart chicks and bunnies are awesome!

Reese’s eggs!!! my favorite candy of all time.

I want to believe I can eat all this good stuff you post.. But I really can’t.. Even running and doing a crazy amount of other exercise stuff. I still will gain…

I love all candy which is always a problem at every holiday.. but my favorites are the egg shaped peanutbutter cups.. Peeps are great over the fire. Try them roasted.. the best way to eat them.. hot and a little toasted.. It’s pretty funny too!

Reply

Oh no you didn’t girl. Best Easter candy contest?! How can anybody just one? Cadbury cream egg, cadbury mini & jelly beans all have a special place in my heart. If I HAD to choose…. Cadbury cream eggs because they scream Easter the most to me.

The cadbury mini eggs… yum! my roommate and i have gone through a whole bag in like 3 days. and of course the Reeses eggs. so much better than normal reeses. Oh and Peeps… but only when they are stale or frozen, ha :)

HANDS DOWN Reese’s PB Eggs. They are heaven! My mother in law bought me a few last year, which promptly went into the freezer to keep me from inhaling them. Except, you know what’s better than Reese’s eggs? Frozen Reese’s Eggs! Major Fail!

Omg genius Brooke is indeed. I don’t even know how to text a house icon on my iPhone. Can you get her TO teach me plz?

Toss up between Mini Eggs and Cream Eggs both wayyyy too good! But over here they started having Cream Eggs at Halloween (scream Eggs? Idk if they do that at home), so maybe Mini Eggs…..

Reply

Chocolate covered peeps…I’m addicted to those things right now.

I am biased as I am British, but I think Cadbury’s creme eggs are the best, although the British ones are better than the ones they produce/ship to the US!

Reese’s PB eggs! PB & chocolate are soul mates, destined to be together! :)

Brooke is a technical genius!! Our 3 year old son was playing with our Nook one day and ended up purchasing 1 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine and a whole year’s subscription to Time magazine. Needless to say, we password protected the ability to purchase anything so that didn’t happen again. I’m glad he only managed to purchase those two!

Reply

Reese’s Eggs! I found this giant one the other day at Wal-Mart but didn’t buy it. I might have to go back for it… http://www.amazon.com/Reeses-Giant-Peanut-Butter-Easter/dp/B007EQV2NW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1363179729&sr=8-2&keywords=giant+reese%27s+egg

Oh, how I loooooooooooove Cadbury Creme Eggs! I just can’t eat them in public or I end up a gooey, chocolate and creme covered MESS.

Reply

STARBURST JELLY BEANS. Cadbury Mini Eggs are a VERY close second.

Reply

That tossed together salad looks amazing! I’m craving one right now!

I have to say when this time of year rolls around I always look forward to Starburst Jelly Beans. They are my favorite. Reese Eggs are a close 2nd, but honestly I have a treat Reese’s every now and then.

I wish I could share the story of my husband’s aversion to Cadbury Eggs, but it’s really not a great show and tell routine :)

Reply

CADBURY MINI EGGS!

Reply

Hands down Cadbury Cream eggs are the best!!! Second would be the Reeses. Jelly Beans & Sour Patch kids are not even on my radar!!

Reply

Cadbury mini eggs!!!!!!! I wish I had some right now. I also love almost any kind of jelly bean. Chocolate covered Peeps are not bad either. All in all, Easter has the best candy of any holiday.

Reply

Easter DOTS! And Reese’s Easter Eggs for sure!

Reply

Reeces Eggs for sure! I can’t stand peeps!

Reply

It is a toss up between sour patch and jelly beans I love them both. We used to have peep wars. We would put 2 in the microwave facing each other with tooth picks stuck in them then microwave them for 15 seconds whichever one popped the other first won. It was super fun. I dont like peeps so this was the best way to use them in my opinion. :)

Reply

Ducks, Chicks, and Bunnies Sweet Tarts ALL THE WAY.

Reply

Janae, seriously Cadbury would be the death of me! I love love their chocolate, good thing Easter is only once a year :)

On a side note, isn’t it crazy to reminisce college days?! My old roommate and I ate lots of ice cream and watched the Hills too!

Reply

Haha this is hilarious because literally I don’t think you could find someone more obsessed with jelly beans and Starburst jelly beans than me….no joke I almost ate an entire bag of jelly beans yesterday…in 5 minutes..then I ate more Starburst jelly beans last night…this has already been about our 6th bag in a few weeks. I have a seirous problem with Jelly beans :)

Reply

Mini Eggs All the way!

Reply

Chocolate marshmallow bunnies! I inhale these around Easter time. It has to be the chocolate marshmallow, not just the plain marshmallow. So not the same!

Reply

Close tie between Cadbury Mini Eggs and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs. But since you can get Reese’s in this form in any season, I will give the win to Cadbury for Easter!

Reply

Cadbury Creme Eggs win forever and ever and ever

Reply

Cadberry Mini Eggs FO SHO!!! I bought a bag on Sunday and they are already gone!!! HORRIBLE!!! :)

Reply

SNICKER EGGS!
I love a Snickers bar every now and then but putting the Snickers in a egg form is so super yummy! My mom bought me a 6 pack back in Feb. and they are already gone! I am secretly hoping she gets me some more for Easter :)
