Billy’s parents are here and Brooke couldn’t be more thrilled.

Billy’s mom made sure to bring framed pictures of them for Brooke and instructed me to have her stare at the pictures every day.

Oh my gosh, so cute!!! The best thing I ate today is one of the new Chobani bites (on your recomendation!)
My Saturday plans were pretty great. I ran an easy 5 to get ready for tomorrow’s 20 miler (10 of which are a race, that should be fun!) then I went to watch one of my students in a cheer competition! She was awesome and I was so proud :-)

Oh my gosh Janae-you would have died and gone to heaven. Yesterday at work someone brought in donuts from a local Amish store-they were delicious and HUGE. I think 1 of them would be equal to 3 or 4 normal size ones. And yes I ate an entire one all by myself!! I keep thinking about them too!

The best thing I ate today was my breakfast. Yogurt with mango, strawberries, and granola :) Have fun in San Fran, I LOVE San Fran! What will Brooke call her grandparents? My mom’s mom wanted to be called “Granny” because she thought she was too young to be a grandma (not sure why she thinks Granny sounds younger) and I called my mom’s dad “bumpa” because I couldn’t say grandpa. My dad’s parents were just grandma and grandpa.

Hope you have a beautiful day with your family, Janae! I’ll be spending the day with mine, and hopefully eating something delicious in the process. I’m kind of going to demand that me and my mom do some baking tonight, so the night is definitely going to end on a sweet note!

I went to Sweet Frog! Got Cake Batter, Red Velvet (meh..) and Pecan Praline Froyo with Heath Bar, white chocolate chips and coconut.

The Zesty Salsa Wheat Thins I had today were also awesome.

And I’m making burgers now and they smell amazing……

So the whole day is filled with good eats. Gotta love the weekend:-)

Have just spent Saturday evening at the ballet with friends :) There was champagne involved!

At the moment, I have been eating quite a bit of halloumi cheese. Not good for my waistline!

Fancy a doughnut now…

I ate a whoopie pie today and wish I could do it all over again!

Day spent with my husband, running friend, and Bachelor watching friend (we both play in the band at church and had practice Monday so are catching up today!)

First of all I love your blog! I follow you on Facebook. I love hearing all about your running but most of all I love hearing about Brooke!! In this post you mention going to San Francisco for donuts. I’m from Wisconsin but my mom and I are going on a little mother daughter trip to San Francisco in April! She has always wanted to go there. I’m scared about leaving my husband and 3 children ages 11, 8, and 4 but I know we will have a blast and it will be an experience of a life time!

I spent the day with my husband and several hundred other people on two flights. I’m in Florida now. It’s warm here. :)

Pasta with an olive oil pesto sauce!!!! I spent the day with myself preparing for my tax appt. on Monday.

Best things I have eaten today was frozen yogurt… and I discovered the best news that I would like to offer as the following Public Service Announcement:

YOGURTLAND IS GIVING FREE YOGURT!!!
4-7pm on Feb 4!!

I checked their website, and they are doing it nationwide!

Today was my weekly Costco adventure and THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY GRAPES. This was literally devastating for me. I stood there in that freezing cold room just spinning around in circles looking like a lost puppy for a little bit. I needed to share that story with somebody that could understand the severity of this experience…

Have fun with your in-laws!

I tried the salted caramel Pinkberry today, so good!

My husband and I just got home from date night…we went to see Silver Linings Playbook and then went out for Mexican food–I had the most amazing fish tacos and cilantro-lime rice!

I had Chic-Fil-A today….yum! Bought outfits for my girls Valentine mini photo session!

After reading your post (love that you are having family time!) I have a good idea for you… When my kids were really little and we moved far away from my family I made a book using a soft photo album (the $2 ones… very flexible and on the cheaper side). The fact that it was not terribly expensive and soft made it a book that my 1-year old could look at. On each open page I had a close-up picture of a family member on the left and a piece of construction paper with their name written in all caps on the right. The boys could look at it every day! I’ll have to think of a way to take pics of it to show you… have a great evening!

YAY!! Have a wonderful time with your in-laws Janae! xoxo :) :)
