We spent the afternoon just hanging out at my parent’s house and then it was time to say goodbye. Just in case you were wondering- I will be making the below picture into a portrait, frame it and put it above our fireplace (okay we don’t have a fireplace but someday we will). I really like these kiddos.
You know you have an awesome baby when everyone is more sad to say goodbye to her than they are to say goodbye to you.
We left way before I needed to for the airport which allowed me time to convince my mom to make a quick stop along the way for food. Bfast food seriously sounds good to me all day long.
I had the Denver Omelet (even though it looked like scrambled eggs) with potatoes and an english muffin.
Perfect fuel for a long night of hanging out in the airport, flying to LA and then flying home. Brooke is a trooper.
She was pretty excited that we had the whole row to ourselves.
Of course I had peanuts and pretzels on the flight because that is a must when you are on an airplane.
Other food musts when at a certain place:
Baseball Game—- Hotdogs
Disneyland—– Soft pretzels, pickle, churros, frozen chocolate covered banana
End of a race—— bagels, chocolate milk and fruit
Soccer game as a kid—– orange slices and capri suns
New York City—– Thin crust pizza the size of Brooke
Camping—– trail mix, s’mores, starbursts to roast over the fire (please tell me you did this too)
Beach—– Watermelon, chips, Subway sandwiches, fish tacos and grape soda
East Coast—- Potbelly’s subs
San Francisco—— Clam chowder, sour dough bread and Ghirardelli
Janae’s house—– Donuts and Swedish Fish
Any places to add to the list and the food that goes along with them? Or add foods to my list of places!!!

You need to add Cracker Jack and fresh lemonade to the baseball game’s hot dog. And you are so on for kid’s soccer games. I took my godson to a couple of his games last spring, and the mom’s were bringing candy, and cookies, and all this junk food. I learned to bring him the good stuff stashed in my purse.
Larissa @running with the dragonflies
Seattle- Beecher’s Mac n Cheese, the original Starbucks (anything from there), Pike’s place mini donut cart (I’m serious… These things are a hidden treasure) and you must go to Dijon’s Thaimin the U district (it’s a house turned into a restaurant) and last but not least Salty’s on Alki restaurant.
