I think it is a good sign when each week I proclaim that Brooke couldn’t possibly get any cooler and that I don’t want her to get any older because it is my favorite stage and then the next week I realize the same thing all over again. Did that make sense? I didn’t think so. Basically each week just gets better and better.
Just a few random things that she is doing now:
-At 3.5 months old I tried putting her to bed without swaddling her. I was worried sick that she wouldn’t be able to sleep with her limbs free but she slept straight through the night. I was actually quite offended that she didn’t mind not feeling like she was still in my womb while she slept. Picture from the first morning that she slept unswaddled, she was so proud of herself.
-While laying on her back she can now scoot herself all the way around in a circle. She has mastered rolling from her stomach to her back and she is so close to rolling onto her stomach from her back.
-She is very interested in animals and also other little kids, she could watch them all day long.
-After her bath her hair is curly but then it dries straight?
-This little toy keeps her entertained for a very long time. It is by far her favorite.
-She has just discovered her feet and she thinks they are the coolest things ever.
-She makes us really happy.
-Her giggles are in fact the cutest thing ever. Whenever we say ‘go get him Charlie (Billy’s dog)’ she giggles. (PS I was feeding her a bottle in the car and she started giggling while I was feeding her and I didn’t want to make her stop laughing by wiping her face off:)

My niece’s hair used to be the same way and now if is curly all the time (now that she is the ripe old age of 2.5). It’s so fun to watch all the changes the babies go through. Happens so fast!! Your family is so blessed :)

Oh my gosh.. I don’t think there could be anything cuter than a baby laughing. Her post bath curls come in pretty close though. Janae, she is so absolutely beautiful and so lucky yo have you for a mom. And you are right-it does keep getting better and better. It is posts like these that totally make me baby hungry.

I think babies from 4-6 months old is the BEST TIME EVER. I love so many different ages that my boys have gone through so far, but I really do think the 4-6 month stage is one of my favorites. Especially when they are snuggled in pj’s right after bath and snuggle into you before falling asleep. Yup. Best ever. :)

I don’t have children myself but my best friend’s daughter is my goddaughter and it has been amazing watching her grow, she turns 1 year old in a few weeks and she is already walking! I’m a long distance runner as well and I love exercise, do you find it best to feed Brooke right before you run? I know every baby is different but with breast feeding I know it can be tricky!
