Just warning you in advance I have way too many pictures in this post.
I started my Saturday off at the gym. I know you all think my love for the treadmill is crazy but I really just wanted a run that I could just zone out and decompress and not have to think about anything like a route or watching out for cars. I did 10 miles at an 8 minute mile pace. My PureFlows are truly my favorite.
I made a quick lunch of an egg sandwich, fruits and veggies (plus another apple with pb because I was still hungry) and ran a few errands with my mom.
My cousin was taking my niece on a special date to Color Me Mine and I decided I had to come too. I cannot miss out on quality girl time.
I have also really really really wanted to get a tile with Brooke’s footprints and luckily my cousin used to work here and so she had done this on a ton of babies before and did it for me.
I refuse to show you another picture of the Cafe Rio salad so instead I will just show you who we met there, NIKI. Why is Brooke so shocked that I am yet again taking a million pictures of her everywhere we go? You can’t tell me that her cheeks aren’t the absolute cutest things in the world.
The man behind them was also wondering what was going on.
The salad was perfect as usual. My cousin’s husband had a great idea, he wanted to take us all to go hang out at his work. His company is the coolest place in the world. Employees and their friends and family can go hang out there whenever they want and so we took advantage of the opportunity.
Top 6 reasons that I NEED to get a job where my cousin’s husband works:
1. They have the best massage chairs in the entire world. Over the course of the night I was in the chair for an entire hour. The best part about the chairs was that there was a hot chocolate machine within 32 steps so I could go refill my cup many times.
2. Yes, seriously. I have no words. As soon as I get back to California I am building a desk for my treadmill so that I can walk as I do really important things like get on Pinterest and watch the next season of the Bachelor.
3. Seriously again. I really think this place was made for me. An entire freezer full of BYU Creamery ice cream. I had the best combo of graham canyon, cookie dough and cookies and cream.
4. DRAWERS full of candy.
5. Fridge full of milk for the cereal bar that they have! (They also have soda machines all over the building, a nacho machine, a popcorn maker and a slushie machine)
6. Every board game and arcade game you could imagine along with pool tables etc.
By the end of the night everyone was very sick of me telling them that this was the best night of my life.
I turn my application in on Monday for a position at his company, wish me luck.

What an awesome work place!!!! I want to work there! Since I am a teacher I would have to say biggest perk is days off – I love being home with my own kids! That second question is tough! Either ice cream or candy though….last shoes I ran in were the Hoka One One Bondi B’s. Have a great day!

Wow!! That is so amazing, the list just kept getting better. I’d say all the ice cream would top the list:) The perk of my job would be free dental (minus lab fees) and I used to work at Starbucks and that included a free pound of coffee every week plus free drinks on shift!

Ice cream freezer, hands down (and the TM desk would be nice too). Best perk of my job is free MRI’s, CT’s, ultrasounds and pain injections–it figures that every year I have had a running injury where I had to get an MRI–except for the past year that I have worked for this company!

Well, I work for 911 Dispatch so some days the best thing is when a caller doesn’t yell at you this time…but saving officers’ lives and catching bad guys are pretty great too. ;)
I’d go for the ice cream freezer but would def need that treadmill desk!

WOW that’s the coolest workplace EVER!! Can you say what company that is? I work at a hospital as a radiology resident so the only perk I get is a lot of free cafeteria food (which is pretty nasty…. haha… I mainly just stick with the bottled drinks and granola bars!).

I feel like I already created a cereal bar existence in this house. So I think I would choose a candy bar because there are SO many I have yet to experience. (Like I never have had one of those tootsie things at your sister’s shower)

I am in love with this workplace. My work place is the absolute opposite :( I would live at the cereal bar and treadmill desk. I went on my first run with my new shoes and so far they are perfect: hot pink Nike lunarglides! I have super narrow feet and they fit like a glove!

I used to work at a French breakfast restaurant. Free crepes, waffles, eggs, yogurt & granola and all the fruit you could imagine. Heaven!!
The cereal bar would be my favourite. Hands down. Ohmygoodness. I also love the treadmill desk, but work is already like that for me, but without the treadmill and with actual walking. haha. ;)
I have developed a more than slight obsession with my Mizunos. I honestly brought them to my Mom’s house for the night even though I wasn’t planning on running, just because I wanted them near me. A little crazy? Maybe. Just maybe. :)

Ice cream bar for sure. I used to work at ColdStone for the 1st semester of my Freshman year. The free ice cream was a big perk…until I gained 15lbs. I quit after that. lol. I used to work at AE and got 40% off their clothes – pretty much the only reason I worked there.
I ran yesterday in my Mizuno Inspire 8’s. I won them – gotta love free shoes. But I have actually REALLY loved them and I might buy them again when I have reached my miles in this pair. I have never tried Brooks shoes. Probably the only brand I haven’t. I might have to check theirs out next time around as well.

That office looks way to amazing to be real. I would definitely have to say I’d rather have the hot chocolate station, I would be at that thing 24/7.
I do all my runs currently in Brooks Adrenaline’s. I just got a new pair and I tried out the Ravenna’s but they just didn’t do it for me like the Adrenaline’s did. I would like to try out a pair of Pure Cadence because they felt like clouds on my feet when I tried them on in the store.

We have dogs in the office and a ton of healthy snacks. There is also a whole foods about .3 miles away which makes a fantastic excuse to forget your lunch.

Ok, if I worked in a place like that then I’m pretty sure I’d never want to go home. Seriously… that place is better stocked than my apartment! If I could get a cereal bar at home, though, I might be tempted to leave that kind of workplace. And I NEED that treadmill desk for the winter… Maybe it would help me from going out of my mind in boredom on the days I can’t get outside.

The biggest perk of my job is our boss takes us on trips as an office (there are 10 of us). We’ve been to Bermuda twice and on a Caribbean cruise! He’s a pretty great boss :)
I would TOTALLY go for a cereal bar at work. I could live off the stuff.
I haven’t run in ages but when I do I wear Mizuno Nexus 5s. Not crazy about them but can’t afford to splurge on a new pair just yet.

I just switched to Mizuno Wave Rider 15 and I absolutely love them. It is my first high arch running shoe and I already feel my running form changing for the better.

Biggest perk of a previous job was working at the same place as my dad….it gave me the chance to talk to him on a whole new level.

Work place perks…hmm. When I was in college they transferred me out of state for a term at a separate facility and paid for my apartment, car/gas, income and 3 trips home during the term. Being 20 and living out of state for the first time ever was pretty cool.
I wear Asics currently but will need new ones in a few months and look forward to going and trying on new shoes. *My current shoes were my first running shoes.
