Christmas Eve Eve.

Workout:  .002 miles walking to the mailbox and back with Charlie, Brooke and Billy in our pajamas.   Brooke is very interested in every move that Charlie makes.  I think that Billy sees how much Brooke loves Charlie and so maybe I will get a puppy for Christmas tomorrow.

We had a professional up in our house last night.  We lucked out and a family friend that used to own a bakery came over to make us pizza.  He had all of the fancy pizza making supplies and his pizza is pretty famous.  I am so thankful I married into a foodie family.  I would be very sad if I was the only one in the family that got really excited about making 8 pizzas on a Sunday night.

The first pizza was my favorite, it had bbq (homemade) sauce, red onion, chicken and cheese.   This is a very good thing to see when you open the oven.

My second favorite pizza was the goat cheese, mozzarella, artichoke, sundered tomatoes, pine nut and spinach pizza.

Actually I take it all back.  My favorite pizza of the night was the s’mores pizza.   I regret not starting with the s’mores pizza first so that I could have fit more in.

Charlie is going through an identity crisis and thinks that he is a lap dog.

After dinner the boys made up a new game for the ping pong table and they are really proud of themselves.   One of the rules for their new game is that it has to bounce off of the wall.

The girls all hung out and talked like usual and Brooke had a lot to add in to the conversation.

Today is full of running, gingerbread house making (aka me eating all of the candy and getting canker sores from so much sugar like every year) and a trip to Target (I really need to learn how to stop procrastinating).

S’mores pizza?! I’ve never tried any kind of dessert version, but if I ever do, that’ll be the one! :)

Merry Christmas Eve! The goat cheese pizza sounds amazing! I LOVE goat cheese! The s’mores pizza looks good too. My boyfriend loves to bounce the ping pong ball off the wall when he plays.

S’mores pizza is SO good! Actually, pizza for all my meals would be pretty good. Running and gingerbread houses is the best way to spend Christmas eve! Enjoy every second and make sure that more candy makes it into your mouth than onto the house ;)

Now I’m craving goat cheese and it’s 7 am :)

That pizza looks amazing! What a great night spent with family. :)

All the pizzas look amazing! I really think I’m the only one in my family that gets excited about food (sad, I know). I love teacup Maltese dogs, but after seeing the grumpy cat, I kinda want it. :)

I’m spending Christmas Eve with my husband. I don’t have to work and be only has about 2 hours of work. We will do exciting things like clean, get the over night cinnamon rolls started, and I will go for a run.

I’ll be headed to Target today, too. We flew to MI and I have gifts to wrap!
Pizza is so good. I have tried dessert pizza (and pizza with chicken linguini baked on top). Basically I love it all.
Big dogs are awesome!

Merry Christmas Eve to you and your family! I’m spending today at my aunt’s house with my extended family having a huge Italian feast like we do every year!

Didn’t you know that Christmas Eve Eve is called Christmas Adam? (Cuz Adam came before Eve) :) Our tradition is that on Christmas Adam all the kids sleep under the glowing Christmas tree. They can’t sleep there on Christmas Eve cuz then Santa couldn’t come. They are actually just waking up from their Christmas Adam slumber. :) I love this time of year.

those look AMAZING!! I’m hungry. I guess I’ll go eat some breakfast.

Not gonna lie – I definitely would have started with the s’mores pizza. As much as I love the combination of dough, tomato sauce, and cheese, there’s nothing quite like chocolate and marshmallows. I’ve had an ice cream type pizza thing before, with hot fudge and chunks of chocolate and fruit, and I’ll never be able to look at traditional pizza the same way again

Are you sure you and Billy don’t want to start a new business called rent a family, and let people spend 24 hours with you? Pizza party looks fun.
Christmas eve so far has been french toast and pancake breakfast…..I couldn’t decide.
run
bake, hang out, wrap
church
dinner
presents

I’m spending Christmas eve with family- it’s the best! We’re poking at presents, visiting family and eating too much candy. Best.

I have a small dog (ironically, she doesn’t know how small she is!) – she’s dressed up as Santa Claus today :)

Merry Christmas!

Well, since people are coming to my house now I will be cleaning and trying to come up with something to feed them (sister will help). I am going to attempt to run and test the knee/quad. And meet husband for lunch (NOT on the original plan).
I am a dog AND cat person. Big dogs please.

Medium to big dogs and fruit pizzas! I’ll be spending Christmas Eve finishing shopping and hopefully squeezing in a workout!

Merry Christmas Eve! Those pizzas look amazing. Today is a busy day. My husband is painting the dollhouse we are making for our daughter. I have a cheesecake to make and finish sewing stockings (I’m so close!). Then we’ll head out for a family get together. Good times!

After realizing that having all the legit pizza equipment makes all the difference, we have bought a pizza stone, a pizza peel and the accessories. I love a good pizza. Your BBQ chicken pizza needs cilantro and bacon to be complete ;) I must try the artichoke and pine nut one – that sounds so good. I have only had the cinnamon and sugar with cream cheese frosting dessert pizza. I have been dreaming about the marshmallowe, peanut butter, chocolate and caramel one your BIL made and you posted forever ago. Obviously I need to make it so I can get over it. lol.

Big dog person for sure. Ross and I have discussed the dog we will get one day since we were engaged. Chocolate lab.

We are going out as a family to do random acts of kindness today – 26 for each person who lost their life in the Conn. tragedy. I think Anna will especially love it. Then driving up to have dinner with the family and sleep over. When I left the gym this morning it was snowing pretty hard. Should be a fun drive up. Ha! I am so jealous of your current location. I hope you have a great Chirstmas Janae!

Big dog person! :).
I’m making cinnamon buns this morning for Christmas morning tomorrow..then church, dinner at my parents house and the present game!

I am jealous of your weather. It looks beautiful there. We have alot of snow and its so cold.

I have two dogs. One is big and one is small. The small one is in charge and I love them both! I’m pending te next 24 hours on duty as a flight nurse in a city almost three hours away from my family. My career has put me at work more then once on Christmas. Its not as bad as you would think. And being able to help someone who is having a worse day then me on Christmas feels good. I couldn’t do it without awesome kids……I can’t wait to see them!

I have not made a homemade dessert pizza. I think we bought one from Papa Murphy’s once and it was ok but not awesome. I bet it would be so much better if I used our homemade pizza dough. We did make pizza shaped like a snowman for dinner on Saturday night and let the kids decorate it with pepperoni and they thought that was so much fun. We love making and eating pizza.

Christmas Eve here is going to include some baking, a quick run to the grocery store, and then our big Christmas Eve dinner (husband’s family tradition), maybe a drive to see Christmas lights, making thank you notes from the kids to Santa to leave out with milk and cookies, and just generally hanging out.

And oh my gosh, my husband gets canker sores when he eats too much candy!

I’m relaxing all day then heading to my aunt’s with my whole family for the 7 fishes & Yankee swap! So excited!!

I have a medium sized dog & I think she is perfect! For our small apartment in NYC, a large dog wouldn’t make sense. I love playing with little dogs but some little dogs can be yappy.

I’ve had the dessert pizza from Pizza Hut (cinnamon & sugar) & it is delicious!! The s’more pizza look delish!!

I’m working on the 24th and 25th this year. Christmas eve will be pretty quiet for me this year. All I want to do tonight is watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas. (the original Boris karloff version!)

I’ve never been a fan of bbq pizza but that goat cheese one sounds amazing!

spending christmas eve making cupcakes and with my bf’s family :)
never had a dessert pizza, but i’ve always wanted to make one!! i think i would make the crust out of cookie though lol
i like them all!! but personally, i really want a pug :D

My dog thinks she’s a lap dog too, although she’s more medium sized so it’s sometimes acceptable. Guests find it odd that she lays along the back of the couch & rests her head on your shoulders, but I love it :) I hope you get a puppy!!
Merry Christmas!

Those pizzas make me so hungry! I love the BBQ chicken pizza. Next time try adding some chopped cilantro on top after it comes out of the oven it really gives it an extra yummy taste.
never tried a dessert pizza but I have seen them a lot on the internet recently so I am sure we will be trying. I have also seen lately breakfast pizzas that look good enough to try. Pizza is always a great thing to make when the grandkids are over. They love to help cook :)

Oh my, those pizza’s look amazing!! Yum!

Today I woke up early and headed over to Brooklyn to get croissants for Christmas morning from a really awesome little bakery then came back and headed to the gym for a long workout. My parents aren’t coming until the 26th so we don’t have big plans for today.

Happy holidays to you and your family!

Oh my. I want all of those pizzas! I started my Christmas Eve with a run and am now starting my baking before family and church time. Merry Christmas!

Pets in the home actually help prevent allergies in children. Maybe this will help you convince your husband you need one ;)
