Time to show you the outfit that I spend 14 hours in each day. I thought it would be appropriate to do one picture with it on my treadmill. I learned this modeling pose of looking off into the distance from seeing a Vogue magazine the other day at the grocery store.
Brooks sent me the comfiest outfit ever. It is also purple. Purple + comfortable = the outfit of the year for me. The 45 degree angle head tilt is also something I learned from the magazines.
Let’s talk about the Utopia Thermal Hoodie II first. A few of my favorite features of the hoodie:
-The color of course (it was hard to choose because they offer the hoodie in 6 awesome colors).
-The fabric of the hoodie is super soft and it is thermal so it keeps you warm without a ton of bulky fabric. It will keep you comfortable all day long.
-The jacket has retroreflectivity around the entire thing so that you will be seen when it is dark outside.
-The thumbholes because that is the cool thing to do lately.
-The ponytail exit in the hood! Such a great idea. (Taking a picture of the back of your head takes a lot of effort).
The Utopia Thermal Cozy Pant are pretty dang awesome too. I am used to wearing leggings 24/7 so it took a little bit longer for me to get used to the fact they go out a little bit at the bottom but I ended up really liking them. Not going to lie, the fact that the back strip matches the jacket makes me extremely happy.
-They are also made from the super soft thermal fabric that the hoodie is made out of.
-There is a pocket in the waistband (for me to put my skittles in).
-They are made for temps of 40 degrees and below which isn’t really needed here but they will be needed when I go back to Utah in TWO WEEKS. Even though they work great with cold temperatures I don’t feel too hot in them wearing them here.
-I really like the thicker waistband which adds to the comfort.
-Both the pants and the jacket are long enough for me. (I am about 5’8.75″)

Three things so far today:
1. I have some CRAZY AWESOME BEYOND EXCITING news to share with you in the morning. I can hardly wait to tell you. It has consumed 95% of my thoughts for the last 1.5 days but I have to wait until the morning to tell you.
2. Billy made a delicious turkey sandwich for me and I added an apple and a yogurt to the beauty.
3. I am making a dessert tonight and the main ingredients are Oreos. In case you ever need Oreos just come over to our house. We have 8 more of these containers that we get for free from Billy’s Dad’s work.

That first picture of you looks like your sister!! From pics you post I dont normally think you two look much alike (maybe more so in real life) but that first pic does look like her! (My sister and I look more alike the older we get, we used to look nothing alike)
Also, comfy clothes are the BEST. Say I, who has been wearing my bathrobe since I got home from church. haha.

I wear a lot of blues and greens, but hot pink is TOTALLY my power colour. I am physically incapable of running more than five steps if I am not wearing hot pink somewhere on my person.
Dessert tonight will be baked apple with cinnamon, PB, a bit of maple syrup and an ounce of semi-sweet dark chocolate. I can’t wait!!

I am so glad to hear that there are winter runner pants for tall girls! I always have to wear leggings with socks over the bottom because I am 5’10” and no pants are long enough (except Lululemon, but I’m not paying 100+ dollars for a pair of pants to sweat in).

I love the purple outfit!! dessert for me as of yesterday is a brownie pudding where after the batter is poured in the baking pan you pour boiling water over it and bake! I made some homemade pecan pie bars last night, and they have been my dessert throughout the day. :)
My favorite comfy clothes are yoga pants or my running or yoga capris and a hoodie. I wear mostly black with some pops of color in my workout clothes, but lately my work clothes have been nothing but sweaters and skinny pants – all different colors. :)

Not fair to keep secrets! I’ve never been all that great at waiting for things . I am really great at spending 85.6% of my day in workout clothes, though… especially Lululemon pants, hoodies, and tanks. I could probably work on getting a little bit more colour, though, since most of my gear tends to be black or gray.

I had my 2 sisters, their significant others and kids over for dinner tonight and my older sister made a delish glutenfree chocolate cake… I had 2 slices!
I have a pair of hooded footed fleece pj’s that i’m obsessed with, they are the most comfortable things i’ve ever worn!!
I definitely wear red the most, I always question whether its my ‘colour’ or not (jury’s still out) but i’m definitely drawn to it.

Random Oreo dessert story: last week me and my roommates had a halloween party and one of my roommates friend brought a dessert she called an Oreo cake which was amazingly delicious. She layered cool whip and oreos and refrigerated them until the oreo got soft. SO GOOD. She will be invited to every party we have from now on.
