Today has been a crazy day.  It is the last day that I will be in town that I can do errands and last minute things because most of the places are closed on the weekends.  It is also the last Friday that I will be in town in which I can eat ice cream twice in one day.  And tomorrow will be the last Saturday I can eat ice cream 5 times in one day and go shopping and buy a ridiculous amount of baby clothes. (Basically I am just doing what I want to do but using the excuse that it is the last day I will be here and can do _____).

To get my mind off of everything I did what I do best when I need some extra happiness and went to go run WITH my sister at the gym. Synchronized swimming was on and holy cow they are really good.  It was fun to watch them while running next to my sister  because we had a pool growing up and always came up with our own synchronized swimming routines.  If we would have stuck with it then I am sure we would have made it to the Olympics.

I went to a different gym than I usually go to and it was a sweat box?!?  I couldn’t believe how hot it was in there and my sister said that this particular gym is always this hot.  That is just rude.

My sister started running 22 minutes after I did (she did weights first) and finished her 7 mile run and finished at the same time that I finished 7 miles.  She is a speed demon! I tried to get us both in the below picture while we were stretching but somehow I just got myself in the picture, I think she is ducking or maybe I am just making up that I had a friend at the gym to make you think I am cooler than I am.

Running late (like usual) to go meet up with my in-laws so I will have to fill you in on everything else in the morning including the fact that I COLORED my hair.

Do you feel like you are always running late or are you pretty good about being on time to things?

Is your gym HOT or are they good at keeping it at a good temperature?

Where did you eat dinner tonight?  At home, restaurant, a friend’s?

-At my parents, a beautiful meal of leftover lasagna and 3 bowls of frosted flakes.

AWE girl. I can totally understand. We moved around a lot so it is always hard to say goodbye for long periods!

I think I am always running late because I get so side tracked doing the most random things. My parents got me a timer for my birthday back in high school so that once the timer went off, I had to go to the next task or I’d be even more late LOL.

Take care!

I cannot imagine how hard it must be for everyone to say goodbye!
I am OCD about being on time, I probably let myself stress about it a little too much!

Totally teared up seeing the picture of Billy holding that sweet girl! Oh my, that is hard :( We cry like babies every time we leave the in-laws so I get it!

My sorority sister took 5 quarters off of university to try out for and compete with the US women’s synchro team! Unfortunately, they didn’t qualify for the Olympics, so she’s back on campus now, but it’s always cool to see her and the other synchro teammates compete!

We actually ate dinner at a friends house last night. We eat at home about 95% of the time so it was a nice treat. We had linguine with homemade pesto. I LOVE pesto! I somehow was able to wait until 11:30pm to eat dinner at our friends. Pasta at midnight is normal, right?

I’m sure it’s been an emotional last couple days… Curly is so cute… that sounds like something I would have done. ;)
I hope the move and everything goes smoothly!
I’m praying for you both!! *HUGS*

Me running late…? Never! I like to think of it as I’m always on time and my husband is always running late, therefore making us late as a couple ;) haha
I see you have yellow shoes on like the runners at the Olympics!! They make you faster!

I’m having dinner by myself at home! Pre-race carb load! Which pretty much means Spaghetti and Marinara sauce, the less sexy of all Italian foods, but by far the best tasting. Why others don’t get on this bandwagon is beyond me!

aww moving is really rough! I moved 4-5 hours away from NY to MA and it’s so hard leaving my parents house. My mom cries every time, which always makes me cry too. When you visit your parents you are going to have to do/eat _________ because you don’t have that in California. I make it my duty to go for frozen yogurt at least 1-2x/day when I visit my parents and in-laws because I have yet to find an amazing frozen yogurt shop in my area…. so I suffer with pinkberry or edy’s fudge tracks and edy’s cookies and cream.. yum.
I am always running a few minutes late and if I am with the hubby then it’s about 30+ minutes late; he is soo sloooow!

My gym is at the clubhouse of my apartment complex and it gets a little hot, but worse is the perfume they spray in there!

We ate dinner at home, shrimp stirfry with teriyaki sauce and brown rice. Followed by edy’s fudge tracks on a cone :)

I love following your family on your website – you all are so close and cute together …. when I saw that photo of Billy and the girls knowing they won’t see each other again for a little while – I choked up a bit . BUT I am so excited to you both to begin the next phase of your ADVENTURE!

Good luck on moving! We just completed our move a week ago. This week has been crazy and I start work on Monday. My body was so sore after moving all of our things that I just recovered yesterday!

If I’m not running outside, I work out in my apartment and crank the air conditioning something fierce. I still turn into a sweaty mess, but at least no one sees me! I did try a Zumba class at this local studio, though, and it was super hot in there. I thought that was somewhat evil considering everyone was jumping around and knocking into one another.

As for dinner, I’m so not cool… I ate dinner by myself on my couch, wearing pajamas. And dinner was Spaghetti-O’s and a glass of milk. I really need to go grocery shopping.

I go to different gold’s gyms, but the one in spanish fork has broken AC! So it is usually like 78-80 degrees lately. So I will do anything and everything not to go to that one! YUCK! Good luck saying good bye to everyone; and keeping the bun in the oven until you are safe in CA! :)

Those pics of Billy with your nieces are so beyond precious. I live 4 hours from my family so when we come visit I just wanna squeeze them all to pieces. It is hard to be so far away but makes visiting that much more special!

Awe! Sorry about the tough goodbyes. It must be really hard because you are super close to your family.
Just remember its not goodbye, its see you later.
Your new adventure will be amazing!
Oh man, I am ALWAYS on time, it is a huge pet peeve of mine if I’m late…in college if I was like 2 minutes late for class I’d rather just not go then be late to the class hah.

Pretty much always feel like I’m running late…even when I’m not…which is never :P

The kids will be so excited come Thanksgiving…and I’ll bet you and Billy will be, too :)

As for synchronized swimming…I just posted my old synchronized carpet swimming video that my kids and I made a while back. I’ll bet you and your sister used to have a blast making up routines! I know we did :)

So sad! I’ve never had to move too far away, but when my lifelong best friend moved from CA to NY 9 years ago it ripped my heart out. The good news is we are closer than ever and seeing eachother on holidays is SO wonderful. It’ll be tough, but I bet your relationships will grow in ways you can’t imagine. Pretending to be asleep… very cute and clever!

I try to be at least 5 minutes early for things because I ALWAYS used to be late for EVERYTHING! That’s the goal anyway… not so easy with kids. Baby steps ;)

We ate at a local brewery… so good!

Dinner was a dessert buffet at my pastors house, be very jealous!

Do you feel like you are always running late or are you pretty good about being on time to things?

I like to be a little early but sometimes I get caught up in what I’m doing (um, reading) and I’m just a bit late.

Is your gym HOT or are they good at keeping it at a good temperature?

They use to be great but remodeled. New treadmills too but not only did they get ones with a TV (blocks the view and air flow), the new ones don’t have fans AND they painted the wall orange. I feel hot just getting up there.

Where did you eat dinner tonight? At home, restaurant, a friend’s?
this question is why I’m commenting :) We had dinner at my nephew’s wedding reception! Newport Beach for an afternoon wedding (sunburned waiting for pictures) then The Bourne Legacy before heading to the reception.

Those pictures of Billy and the girls are so sweet!
Billy will be a great dad! And Curly is the cutest!

Moving is so tough but you’re a close fam so keeping in touch and visiting will be easy! :) good luck w the move!

lol I think my gym purposely makes it a little hot so you sweat more, thus thinking you’ve worked harder, thus making you want to come back to the gym more (aka pay them more money). Pretty sure this is a solid theory. I told a trainer this once and he laughed uncomfortably… he was either scared of me or knew I was right. I’m going with I was right.

Have a great “last” weekend- never easy saying goodbye!! I have serious OCD when it comes to being on time-hate having to make others wait for me!

We had our neighbors over for dinner last night. I made taco lasagna (so good!), a salad with dried cherries and red onions, and homemade funfetti cupcakes. I’m not sure if I wanted to impress them, or just eat all of the yummy food myself! ;)

I like Curly’s method of trying to get Billy to stay. I think I would have a really hard time saying by to her, she’s such a sweetie.
I’m a tad bit OCD with being on time, being late gets me all frazzled.

Sorry just commenting now. I really hope Billy is having a safe drive, if he is not to CA already. I KNOW how hard the next couple of days are going to be..I’m thinking of you & I’m here if you need someone to talk to or text :) Love you!

As you experienced last week, I am late. I swear I wasn’t until kids.

Last night I made dinner for my family & all of my in laws while camping. Then a storm came in & it was raining & blowing so hard all of our tents broke!! (And ours is brand new! Blerg! ) So we ended up packing up in the dark, while raining, & driving the hour & a half to my on laws to sleep.

The pictures of billy saying good bye nearly brought tears to MY eyes & I am not even pregnant!! Geesh. Too cute.

Love your new dark hair, btw! Have a great day today!

I am mostly on time to things. Or early.
My new gym seems pretty good on the temps. And every cardio machine has its own TV. I am getting spoiled!
We ate at home last night with a mexican theme!

There is a gym by us that is always hot, too. I hate going there, I always feel like I’m choking on the air.

Can’t wait to see the hair!
