Remember how I said I was going to run on Tuesday instead of Monday? After I posted that I remembered that my BIL would be staying on the couch right next to the treadmill Tuesday morning and there was no way I was going to drive all the way to the gym to run on a treadmill at 5 a.m. so I hung out with my little electronic best friend Monday instead.
I decided to try some sort of ‘speed’ workout. The last time I attempted a speed workout was HERE, on March 15th……it has been just a little while since then.
I was a wee bit nervous (okay, really nervous) to try to test myself and get out of my normal comfortable pace but the poster above that I found on pinterest kept coming to mind and helped me finish a 10 mile progressive run.
See billy, I told you that spending 30 hours a week on a webiste called Pinterest would help me in life. Obviously, it isn’t a waste of time;)
2. I was going through my NYC pics for the 4 billioneth time this morning and came across this beauty.
On my way back home (the day after the marathon) from NY I had a layover in Chicago at 6:50 a.m. I was in line for Potbelly’s at 6:55 a.m. I was eating a turkey sandwich with spicy dressing, jallepenos and a pickle by 7 a.m. My mom can’t handle anything but plain toast in the morning or really bland foods. I am pretty sure I can, and do eat pretty much anything at any time of day. My stomach has no boundaries.
Billy’s family constantly has a group text message going. They are usually pretty hilarious and yesterday Billy’s youngest brother sent this picture with his text:
“Billy….if you guys are going to be going out at all when you’re down….Janae will probably be needing one of these.”
Everyone else agreed.
