Billy and I have been sleeping on a mattress that is older than I am……not so comfortable.
We were going to get a new mattress but then realized that a foam pad would probably feel the same but be WAY cheaper!! I am going to sleep like a baby tonight, except for the 10 times I will have to get up due to my excessive water/lemonade drinking throughout the day. Maybe the old stiff mattress is the cause to all of my injuries this past year, not my overtraining and thinking it was a good idea to see how many hours a week I could run;)
After our Costco extravagenza we realized that It has been MONTHS since we have been to Cafe Rio and so we decided it was about time to make an appearance. Plus, kids eat FREE!
Please focus in on that green ball on the right hand side of my salad, that would be the best guacomole I have ever had. I kind of like tomatoes too.
Three straws are clearly better than one.
You know when you have that full feelling and you just want to make your husband roll you and your niece up as burritos? It was one of those nights. Penguin blankets are obviously the cool thing.
But then one burrito decided to roll off of the other burrito and BIlly caught a picture of her mid-air. Don’t worry she was fine and she wanted to do it again and again and again.
You know that your sister and you have the exact same brain when she stops at the store on the way to pick up ice cream. Even stranger….those are the EXACT same flavors that I would have chosen, they were both amazing.

Do you have a comfy mattress or matress pad?
-I don’t know if buying this mattress pad was a good idea for my early morning gyming…..it is going to be hard to get out of a bed that doesn’t feel like you are sleeping on hardwood floor.
What did you have for dessert yesterday? Was it delicious?
What was the last muscle group you worked with weights?
-We worked our deltoids hard yesterday, using THIS WORKOUT, and I don’t know if I will be able to do any sort of arm movements all day, Billy be prepared to spoon feed me and braid my hair for the fourth day in a row.

That guac sounds so yummy! I love mexican food. :) I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about buying new pillows, mattress pads, and sheets that always make you sleep so dang good the first night you break ’em in.

Apple pie. But I screwed up and put WAY too much cinnamon in. I will still eat it though.
I worked my legs the other day. Leg presses, hamstring curls, calf raises. Today will be arms/back.
The last present for myself is the laptop I am using to type this. MacBook Air.

Our mattress is okay, but I found a good deal on a memory foam mattress topper on Overstock, and I am so glad I bought it! It’s amazing!
Good grief I had WAY too many desserts yesterday! I went to a luncheon that served these delicious turtle brownies and mini lemon tarts. THEN I met my mom for fro-yo. I had mounds & rootbeer float and it was fabulous. THEN I went to a wedding reception and had homemade pecan pie. I think I may have to cut back on desserts this week!!!
I did a total body weights workout yesterday with my PT client, but after she left I decided to do some pullups (I used a chair to assist me). 4 sets of 20 pullups have left me QUITE sore today!
I bought myself the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown dvd last week! :)

Lastt muscle group was the abs where you lay on your back with knees bent and a circle weight over ur head and crunch up.
Definitely sleep better on a rock hard surface.
Dessert was chocolate fudge brownie ice cream (Edys), but for some reason I don’t enjoy dessert as muchhh as when I go out and get it from a place. It just seems like a snack if its in there.

We have a comfy matress but we hope to get a king size in the nesr future. I worked on my quads last and they are tight this mornimg. Unfortunately, i didn’t have dessert last night but we will be sure to make it up today, as our fav cupcake place is featuring my fav flavor, samoa. I can’t remember the last present i bought for myself, but the next one will be a new treadmill. I’ve started a jar and put it on our dresser for adam to see. Thanks for the suggestions.

We don’t have a comfy mattress OR a mattress pad. Well – it is comfortable if only one of us is sleeping on it and can stay in the middle of the bed. Oui. A new mattress is def. on our Wish List!

QUADS! I can’t walk very well today.
I just bought new shoes for work (teacher’s need cute, comfy shoes – am I right, or am I right?) So I went to Macy’s sale rack (I don’t buy anything unless it is on sale) and I bought 3 pairs of shoes for $50. ONE of those was a pair of LEATHER DRESS SHOES for $4.99. Winning, I am.

I was having the same problem with my mattress so I got a feather top pad for my bed and it is so comfy! Even better? My sis just got a job in Hawaii and is moving away (sad face) but now I get her brand new, reaaaaaaaally expensive and awesome mattress! Almost makes her leaving worth it :)

My husband and I have a water-bed! It is oh-so-comfy and the best thing is that it stops you from wriggling- you wake up in exactly the same position you fell asleep in! Weird!
Another good thing- it’s heated! The only thing I love about winter is getting into a bed that’s already warm!
I worked my shoulders with free weights on Wednesday and I’m still feeling it 3 days later… ouch!!!

Guacamole is to die for! I never used to eat it (I’m fussy and thought it just looked “gross”) but thankfully I snapped myself out of that and tried it and now I looove it!
We have a pretty comfy mattress but Tyler always talks about how he wants a king size. Yes, it would be fantastic to have a king size bed but I don’t think it would fit in our room. OR it would fit but my dresser would have to go. Not gonna happen in this house!

When we first got married we had an old mattress. It was literally the worst thing ever. So one day when I decided I wanted to spend tons of money, we got a new one. A mattress pad would have probably been a better idea…I should consult you for important life decisions.

Ooh, I love soft, fluffy mattresses! We stayed with some friends this summer and their guest bed was super old/ hard/ had no padding. Coming home to our bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

We went through the same thing when we were first married. The foam topper definitely helped for a awhile but we eventually splurged on a new mattress and it was worth it. We still had an old couch and furniture throughout our house but our bedroom was perfect. We finally had to force ourselves to get a new couch after our old hand me down broke and springs started breaking. You’d get stuck in it!

We have a mattress pad and it changed my life – no lie about it getting in the way of the gym time though. It makes it extra tough. My sister and I would fit in perfectly with you and your sis. I’ve never seen that brand of ice cream, but it has amazing flavors! Yesterday for dessert I had a banana with peanut butter and chocolate chips ants on a log style (actually I have that dessert several times a week) and of course it was delicious! I’m majorly slacking on the strength training since I started training for a fifty mile race. Lame. The last present I bought for myself was my new camelbak, and I LOVE it! Your nieces are just too cute and so are you, have a great nights sleep on your new mattress pad!

My mattress is so comfy, my hubby bought me a bedroom set for Christmas about 5 years ago, so we had to buy a new mattress since ours wasn’t the same size! :)
The wife of one of the guys who is working with us on our harvest brought out a fresh peach pie to the field when we stopped for dinner- it was delish…

Great idea on the mattress pad! When I moved into my first apartment after college, I had an air mattress instead of a regular bed for a while, but had a faux feather bed topper…it made it feel so luxe!
My last present to myself…um, that’s a good question! I’ve picked up a few things lately, but they’ve all been work clothes related, which I refuse to consider as a present ;) I am debating an espresso machine to replace mine that died…but spending that kind of $$ makes my palms sweat!

I have that exact same mattress topper! You’re going to love it! My grandma has them on her beds, and when I went to stay with her in May and I kept raving about how well I slept. Before I knew it, we were in the car on the way to Costco..she offered to buy me one as a graduation present! I’m so thankful she did..I sleep soo much better now! Obviously I’m not excited about this mattress topper or anything…haha. But seriously. You’ll love it.

We got a tempurpedic mattress which is nice its too bad my two year old takes over half our queen bed so a lot of nights i just sleep on the couch so that i get sleep. Luckily our couch is pretty comfy too.
Last present to myself was a pair of pants. Im between sizes as Im a 4 in some and 6 in others, while im happy im a little smaller all my existing 6’s are way too big and alterations are a giant pain in the butt. So I will be trying to add a pair in every other week until I’m stocked up for fall. Darn kids take up all the money :-)
