As we were driving to dinner I looked at my camera and realized that I forgot to put the memory card back in. Let’s just say this made me a little mad and Billy was able to capture my anger on his iphone. Please excuse the blurry photos for this post. Billy refused to turn around and spend $8 in gas to go back home and get the memory card. Okay, that is a lie, I didn’t ask him but I did contemplate being late to dinner just so that I could take a drool worthy photo of salad heaven.
My cutest friend, Holly, hooked me up with Costa Vida gift cards because she wanted me to see how much better it is compared to Cafe Rio. I even got a photo with the awesome tortilla lady……don’t worry about it, she is just in charge of making hundreds of people happy everyday with her tortilla skills.
Holly was right. The mango salsa that is under the mounts of pico, chips and guac was heavenly, the tortilla was fluffier and the dressing was fruity bliss. THANK YOU HOLLY .
The boys side of the table talked about neurons, Newton’s Laws and stuff.
The girl’s side of the table talked about how big of an ice cream sundae we wanted after dinner. My mom’s hands are either showing the size of ice cream happiness that was necessary for after dinner or how much she loves me.
This photo is officially in my top ten favorites. The nieces and nephew were so excited to see Billy after dinner. They love treating him like a jungle gym. He clearly loves it too.
There was some cookies and cream ice cream to round off the night while watching Modern Family but the iphone photo did not make the cut. Ice cream deserves the best of the best…. no blurry photo could ever do its deliciousness justice.

What is something that you forget to bring with you that really ticks you off?
-Heaven forbid I not lug around my DSLR everywhere I go to take a picture every 30 seconds and I just about die without my phone so that I can obsessively check my emails. I have problems.

-The AMAZING ASH, JEN and RACHELLE are running Ogden as we speak and I just love them to death!!!

Modern Family is my FAVORITE show!!! Phil is funny, but MANNY is my favorite…he is just so darn cute and his expressions crack me up! He is an adult in a little kid's body! haha

When I shower and change at the gym I always forget to bring something like a hairbrush, or shoes so I am all dressed up with running shoes on. Or a bra so I leave all dressed up with a sports bra on.

Phil is HILARIOUS on modern family. Everytime we watch, my husband will go, "I'd never do anything like that, right?" when in reality, he is EXACTLY like him. I guarantee if we ever have a son, it will be a Luke Phil relationship lol.

i have forgetting my water bottle. I refuse to buy plastic water bottles for so many reasons, I'd rather go thirsty. But I drink so much water that forgetting is a serious issue haha! I haven't seen Modern Family yet, but I need to! I keep hearing good things about it. My husband and I have been wanting to get in to another show ever since we finished Lost. Have any other recommendations? Something suspenseful would be the best because that's what we loved about Lost.
No races for me today, just a nasty 10 mile run in 85% humid, buggy weather. It's days like this that I miss Utah! I did Ogden last year. I forgot it's marathon season there! Marathon season hear is not until November.

I hate when I forget my memory card! One time I did it when I was on a spring break trip to go to the Arnold, the sports exhibition I had been counting down the days to go to. We had already driven 30 minutes from our hotel, paid for parking, and walked the 20 minutes to the exhibit hall when I realized I had left it. I almost cried when I met some of my favorite athletes and couldn't get pictures with them. Now I triple check to make sure I have my memory card every time I leave the house. Lesson learned!

The picture of you that Billy snapped with his phone is priceless! For me, I'm always absolutely PARANOID that I will somehow be left without my running shoes if I pack them in a checked bag for a flight. It happened once and I didn't have them (or most of my clothes!) for a few days and ever since then I will be the dork sporting the sneaks for any flight or make sure they are in my carry-on. I guess that's not really forgetting…but it's what first popped to mind. :)
