Yes, I am sad that my sister is also a gimp but at the same time I had a real good time with her at the PT. Our tables were next to each other and besides the massage (why do they call it a massage instead of pure torture) we were laughing the whole time. 2.5 hours flew by. I am pretty jealous of her though…..she only has to take off 3 days from running. I will just live my life through her.
P.S. a side effect of steroids is that it makes you look like Casper the friendly ghost another side effect is mood swings….that is a whole other post that I will save for another day.

Billy and I turned our date into a family date when we heard the words ‘Costa Vida’ (copy cat cafe rio). We were there in five minutes flat.
I got the usual grilled chicken salad with mango and pico de gallo. I decided to skip the tortilla for the sake of health and then ended up eating my mom’s tortilla. Hey, at least I tried.
Food served in tin foil is always good. My little niece has the cutest curly hair ever.
We are that family that ends up on our cell phones at the end of dinner. No one heard me say that we were taking a picture. I guess ‘Cut the Rope’ on the iphone is more important than having a photo memory of our fun night together.
Billster and I ended the night by watching the latest episode of the office. SO GOOD!!!
Teaching a spin class and then 20 minutes on the elliptical….WISH ME LUCK and pray for no pain. Let’s be honest, there will be some swimming later on:)

Racing this morning at 8am. Badger Mountain 15k Challenge. But since I need to do 14-15 miles, I am running there, doing the race and then doing an extra 4 on the way home. Curly hair but I like to straighten it because lately it doesnt do what I want.

The Office is definitely not going to be the same without Michael, but if they're gonna bring somebody new on board, I can't think of anyone better than Will Ferrell. I had read somewhere a while back that they were thinking about John Lithgow. That coulda been interesting too. I'll still for sure be watching! I just hope it doesn't start to suck. I hate how the really good shows always go way downhill before they finally end them. If you're gonna go out, go out on top!

The weather in NY has been all over the place, too- we had a 70 degree day last week, and then a few days ago it snowed!
My sisters and I are notorious for laughing EVERYWHERE and thinking EVERYTHING is hilarious… Which is why my mom stopped letting us go to important places together (Doctors, DMV…etc…)
And my hair is CRAZY curly, but I can tame it if I blow it out when it's wet and then flatiron it…

My hair is super straight, like when I ask a hair dresser to try and put some waves or curls in it they laugh at me :( But annoyingly there is a little section in the back, right in the middle, that does not like to go straight! I guess a straightening iron would help, but that is to much work for me :)

Had a race a few weeks ago…no more for a while.
Missouri weather has joined in the craziness and it snowed yesterday!! I ran in 70° weather earlier this week, so waking up to 30° and snow was overly depressing.
I have crazy curly/wavy/frizzy/out of control hair. I try to embrace it, but it normally looks like I stuck my finger in a socket.

My hair is straight but with lumps where my ponytail is! So I use straighteners to make it neat (and also thinner as it is so thick!).
No races for me, resting now after my 12 miles today :)
I love the office, and I think the other characters in it are good enough to keep the show going- it's not all about him any more.

I wish I could run this weekend period. I would run an ultra just to be able to run again. Being injured is torture, but at the same time it has it's perks like I went to spin class this morning. I was a hot mess.

My hair is very straight (ie limp). However, once I had kids, the right side of my scalp decided that it should produce hair that has three distinct waves (not curls) on that side. Left side is still almost completely straight. Most of the time I can make it look okay. Other times, I just pull it back and don't deal with it.

I actually have VERY straight hair. I went through a time where my bangs were very frizzy and a little curly, but I think it was because I was getting over my eating disorder and my hair had to rejuvinate itself. Now it is really shiny and I love my hair! :)

I ran my first 1/2 on Saturday – the Chesebro 1/2 at the Agoura (CA) Great Race. I HAD THE BEST TIME!!! But I discovered that runners are kind of gross. Like with the bodily functions. Some people didn't even bother to use the porta's.
Anyway, I am so excited for my next half – the Santa Barbara (CA) half in November.
And I am running the Ragnar in 3 weeks.
I am getting obsessed with running.
