Hot Chocolate Loving

You know you are addicted to a pump instructor when you wake up at 5:30 a.m. on your day off to go to her class.

It burned oh so good.

I finished up with 30 minutes elliptical and 30 minutes stair climber.

Does anyone else look forward to their days off so they can get an awesome long work-out in? A little crazy, yes.

After the work-out I got back in bed and blog stalked you all.

Breakfast was made and then we headed over to hang with the in-laws and drink hot-chocolate, it is 11 degrees outside.

Might be time to wash the hair…. maybe I should just tell people I accidentally spilled a bottle of olive oil on my hair while I was cooking gourmet Thanksgiving treats.

Favorite flavor hot cocoa?? How often do you drink it?

-Chocolate mint truffle all the way.  Peppermint and white chocolate are also my favorites.  I pretty much live off hot chocolate in the winter.

Fav hot chocolate flavor is chocolate raspberry.

Here's a tip to change up regular ol' hot chocolate: drop a starlite (red & white) candy mint into your drink and stir. Yummy!

I LOOOVE pump. I wish my dog could exercise herself after work and I wasn't too poor to afford my gym.

mmm – minty hot chocolate is the way to go. It's almost 80 degrees today in Dallas but a cold front is coming in for much colder temps tomorrow so hot chocolate will be appropriate. I'm holding off on washing my hair until tomorrow after my run. Just the way I roll.

I remember your hot chocolate fetish!! Next weekend we have Spencer's work Christmas party, and then we are going to a play Saturday night. So I am afraid we won't be able to do a triple date on the weekend :(

I barely ever drink hot chocolate. If I'm going to drink it, I want it so crazy chocolatey that a spoon can practically stand up in it. And after that, I'm probably going to feel a little sugared up and sick.

New reader here and I love your blog! I am a teacher and triathlete living in the PNW and it is cold as crap with a high of 8 degrees forecasted for today, after an enjoyable night low of -12 degrees.

My favorite hot cocoa is hands-down Costco's Candy Cane Hot Cocoa, with little bits of crushed candy cane. Try it – you'll never get over it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

On Halloween, my hubby made whole milk hot chocolate with peppermint shnapps in it. Wowza, it was good! I'm loving my sweet, sugary hot drinks now that it is cold, but afraid I'm loving them TOO much.

Okay I have a few things to tell you… first of all I started going to pump and LOVE it! Okay it has only been 2 times so far but I am going to make it a habit because I know I would never push myself that hard if I wasn't in there. Also I love your spin playlists, I used one the other day when I was on my bike and I just might do it again this afternoon. And last thing, I totally know the "Friday Morning" spin class you often refer to. Before I started going to your class I would sometimes go then and it was a little rough to get through because it was so boring!! Okay anyway you are too funny, I love your blog. Sorry this was the longest comment EVER!

Hilarious. Good for you, waking up on your day off. I'm a sucker to routine as well.

My mom just saw my hair and said I "needed an oil change." I had just finished working out:)

Another thing my mom taught me is good cocoa- but call me crazy, I haven't tried the flavors. Put that on my winter to do list.

If you want a kick, add Butterscotch Schnapps to your cocoa. It is super deluxe delish!

hot cocoa … need to get some at the grocery! =)

Peppermint hot chocolate, all the way. (You can use a candy cane to stir your drink for a cheap and delicious version.) That being said, I've never been known to turn down hazelnut. Well… or any flavor hot chocolate. Who am I kidding?

Cinnamon, a dash of clove, and get this….cayenne pepper! I had it in London (along with chocolate croissants) and got hooked :)

i TOTALLY loved my workout today because I was off – I live for the summer. :)

i actually enjoyed a longer workout yesterday as soon as school got out: two insanity sessions, jazzercise, and then ran 6 miles. just cause i didn't have to go to bed early or get up early. loved it!

and my favorite hot chocolate is dark chocolate raspberry.

So I read your guest post on Failed Muffins, clicked over here and started reading (your entire blog). Here I am several pages and hours later and I'm only in November?! I'm going to be reading your blog forever. But it's ok because your posts are making me giggle.

Anyway, I had to comment on this really old post because I'm obsessed with hot chocolate! We recently moved into corporate housing where there was a coffee maker on the counter. The first thing I did was replace it with my hot cocoa maker, and then stocked my cupboards with the following flavors: mint truffle, peppermint (with chunks of candy cane!), cinnamon (I think this one's my favorite), and irish cream. Yum!
